The Villa de urike hotel is highly recommended. Clean, comfortable place, and ideal for adventure tours or restful stay... We had a very pleasant stay, we felt very comfortable and happy. They have a backward view of their home where you can see the sunset. Filiberto and his wife are very nice, they make you feel very comfortable. All of our concerns were answered. We were organized a tour and took us to the hill of Gallego, Urique and Barrancas are very impressive places, full of magic, with incredible landscapes. In Urique, where we were taken to eat, we met very beautiful people, the place is beautiful and relaxed. The path was very nice with a lot of good talk. We were very happy and grateful for your hospitality. They have a very varied shop, where you can buy what you need for the road. And also the Restaurant that is next to the store, which is very rich and with affordable costs. We ate a delicious aguachile, and a burrito from Chile stuffed that we loved. The micheladas are also great. I would definitely stay with them again. Thank you.

Francisco was a fabulous host. They don't get much better. He arranged transportation for us when we couldn't make the local bus, he welcomed us when we arrived and was always available to answer questions and provide information about the area.

An excellent place to be at peace. The night sky is beautiful. We got a slice and it was delicious. The ideal shower pressure for a hot bath.

Undoubtedly Urique is a beautiful corner of Chihuahua, it has too much charm and we met it thanks to the announcement of Villa de Urike. It is a bit difficult to get since there is little public transport but Francisco put us in contact with a Tours company in which they took us to know various tourist attractions on the way to Urique, including Cerocahui and the impressive viewpoint of the Gallego and then they left us at the accommodation. The hotel is beautiful, has a lovely illuminated decoration and boasts a pool. The room quite spacious and isolated from all noise which allowed us to rest peacefully. Very spotless. In Urique there is no phone signal so it is essential to connect to some wifi network and the hotel has excellent connection. Francisco made food and activities recommendations in Urique and Guapalayna, a village near Urique where we appreciate the beauty of the barrancas, of rock formaciones, vegetation and tarahumara population.

The communication was great and very helpful. All of my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. It's a bit of a ride to get to the bottom of the valley, but well worth the trip. I got some good recommendations for restaurants and hiking which I very much appreciated.
