We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful home for our family’s 70th birthday celebration. The house was perfect for a large family gathering, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated, making us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare meals for our celebration, and the outdoor area was fantastic for family dinners and fun activities. The location was peaceful and scenic, providing the perfect backdrop for a special occasion. The hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create such meaningful memories. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we all really enjoyed spending time on the farm - especially my friend’s little girls with the kittens and lovely dog Pip. The girls didn’t want to leave and cried for half an hour on the way home! The house is a beautiful barn conversion which has been decorated amazingly well - it’s somehow both cosy and chic, with great quality furnishings. Love it. The photos don’t even do it justice. You have to see for yourself. The beds are super comfy, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub. The farmyard gardens are stunning with all sorts of vibrant flowers and plants everywhere. And the delicious homemade welcome gifts were just the cherry on the cake - such a thoughtful, kind touch. This was a perfect tranquil spot for spending time with family/friends. Thank you for being such welcoming hosts. Sorry we had to rush off without saying goodbye. We’d love to visit again sometime, if you’ll let us!

Amazing place, full of christmas spirit, beautiful furniture and privacy. Our stay was very peaceful and enjoyable. Jacuzzi was a perfect choice for this cold weather… Place was very clean and pleasant, has a lot of attractions inside like games and books. Michelle was very helpful and made sure everything was just perfect.

What a beautiful place to stay. What stood out? The hosts, the Manor and the location. Nell was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The Manor is just fabulous, so full of character and in such a lovely location, it’s so peaceful inside, we felt right at home immediately. We made a lot of use of the wood fired hot-tub outside too (and thanks for having it warmed up for us). We took electric bikes with us to tour about off and on road and Nell and her husband were most helpful in suggesting places to go to, it’s such a pretty part of the country to visit with some highly impressive scenery. Shrewsbury is very close by and well worth a visit. Overall a really memorable visit to a lovely home.

We had a big family groups staying at the house and it suited us ideally. It was clean and comfortable, safe for the little kids, good for the bigger kids and ideal for the adults. It was located in beautiful countryside, and between some lovely old villages.

A weekend stay in this amazing country side retreat. Ideal for my family of 4. Kayaking was simple, easily accessible, and great fun with the stream going on for miles. The hot tub is always a hit. Spacious, private and relaxing. Well worth the trip. Highly recommended.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The lodge was beautiful - clean, full of home comforts and warm. There was easy temperature control inside the lodge which was great for our cold weekend, and the hot tub was perfect. There were Christmas decorations, plus birthday balloons which I had requested extra. The kitchen had plenty of coffee, cleaning products and everything needed to cook a meal. The surroundings are so lovely and peaceful, we even saw a big group of wild rabbits right outside. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely welcoming lodge, excellent for anyone to visit in a medium sized group. The amenities were excellent and we particularly enjoyed the homemade brownies + Prosecco! Thank you for having us Michele and I would highly recommend the lodge to anyone looking to stay near the Shropshire hills

Absolutely perfect!! If you’re looking for a cosy cabin with beautiful views, visible from a hot tub and everything you need under one roof - this is the place! On Arrival Mark showed us to our cabin and couldn’t be more friendly and helpful if he tried! The place was perfect with stunning views in a stunning location, plenty of great walks and a village which had plenty to explore. Everything was perfectly clean in the cabin and any questions I had were answered or resolved very quickly. We unfortunately had a power cut during our stay (thanks to storm Darragh) and the hosts were quick to check up on us and provide us with everything we needed during the power outage making it surprisingly enjoyable! Could not recommend this place enough. Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish! Will definitely be retuning again!

We had the best time staying in the cedar lodge, it is so private and quiet, with lovely views looking into the woodland from the bed room, living area and hot tub. Everywhere was spotless and smelt so clean and amazing!! The surrounding villages are nice and clean, with some lovely shops. Overall it was an amazing stay everything was perfect and the host is so helpful 😊

We loved our 2 night stay for my husbands birthday with our 2 small dogs and 4 YO. The pod was beautiful and the views were stunning. The pod itself had a double bed, sofa bed, TV, dining table & chairs, kitchen with a microwave, 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery, crockery and sink. The bathroom had a spacious shower, toilet & sink. There were 4 storage drawers under the beds and coat hangers. Outside there were 2 wooden chairs around a fire pit, a large log burning hot tub and picnic bench. This overlooked some beautiful scenery. We were provided with towels and bedding and a pack with local takeaways, restaurants and to do. The only thing we would have liked would be a canopy to cover the chairs and firepit so it can be used in all weathers, as it was raining and the chairs were soaked so we couldnt use. The other would be for the fence and under the pod to have chicken wire for the gaps to stop our dogs from getting into the fields & we could let them roam free.

The place was beautiful. And very clean. Ruth was very great host showed us where everything was and told us about things near by. Will definitely be coming back.

Absolutely phenomenal place. So peaceful Lodge is beautiful & clean & well presented Our 2nd time here for our anniversary & have booked again for next year. Will definitely recommend to others.
