Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tecumseh

Maylinn’s place was a perfect home away from home on a family trip to the Detroit area for Thanksgiving. The home is cute, with lots of nice updates, and was the perfect size for our family of three people and one dog. Everything was exceptionally clean — above expectations. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed her room and thought the trundle was cool. Our dog loved having a yard to play in. We were glad we brought his tie out, as only three sides of the yard were fully enclosed. But it worked out just fine. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook dinner and make breakfast. There was a washer/dryer. One thing to note is that there was no dining table. There is one eating bar with two bar stools and another table with two bar stools. We would definitely stay here again. Great place for the price and really wonderful to have our dog with us. (He does give a “snort” for not being allowed on the furniture. But we explained it was better than being left at home. He agreed.)

The Rock House is a unique place to stay. The home is decorated with interesting art work and beautiful furnishings. It’s located on a lovely quiet street within walking distance to downtown Ferndale. It snowed while we were there so we optimized time in front of the fire. The house truly felt like home and we were extremely comfortable there. Tamela is an amazing host, she was very responsive to questions and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. We have already booked another visit for next fall!

Firstly, I got into Detroit earlier than expected and Caitlin was responsive and open to an early check in. Her place was a very cozy and perfect place for our weekend getaway. The house is right next to a big park, unfortunately for us it was cold and rainy for the whole weekend or our dog would have loved it. The kitchen was set up for anything you could want and included a Keurig with pods and sugars and creamers. It has a small couch and a king bed and a smart TV on the wall that pivots. Downtown Detroit is a 20 minute and downtown Ferndale is right around the corner with great stores and restaurants. There is also an easy checkout. Next time I'm in Detroit I will definitely will be looking to see if Caitlin's place is open.

Fantastic, incredibly accomadating hosts! We were so grateful Giovanni allowed us to have an earlier check in and later check out due to our weird flight schedules. The house itself is well appointed and within walking distance to all Ferndale has to offer. Thanks for a great stay!

I have never booked an airbnb so was nervous. I had a couple questions and John responded within 15 minutes. The house was described perfectly. Area was quiet and neighbors were friendly.

Second time we’ve stayed at Nathan’s in a year. Very responsive and attentive, the house is just as described with a quiet neighborhood. One thing we didn’t expect was snow! Though when we came back from our work event the driveway, sidewalk and porch were cleared! Nathan went above and beyond. We look forward to staying here again in the future with our fur babies!

This is a great house for a group of friends. The pool and garage, specifically the sauna, were fantastic amenities. We enjoyed our stay. We felt safe inside and around the house.

We loved our stay at the Lodge! Beautiful, private surroundings, well decorated, nicely stocked kitchen with all the basics. Accommodated our family very well. Beds were comfortable, the bunk room was kid friendly. Great to have the 2 bathrooms. Such good outdoor games available to use. The minute we walked we knew they have prepared well for our arrival. From the personalized message on the entrance mirror, to have the temperature set for us and fireplace on. Having stayed at a number of homes, we know this is not always the case. I knew that had there been any issues (which there weren’t), that the hosts would have been ready to help and make it right. Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable!

by far the most beautiful Cottage, backyard onto the golf course. beautiful grass and trees, lots of shade, great place for kids to play, no water to worry about. home was beautifully furnished and pristine clean. lots of bedding and towels to choose. easy walk to the pool. we had such a great vacation.

As you can likely see from the pictures, this place is very unique. You will definitely not get bored. Everything is clean and approachable, Greg is an excellent host who is always quick to respond and very friendly. Close to local shops/restaurants and minutes away from the US border. Check it out!

Accommodating in many ways. Responsive. Clean space. We were thankful to bring our dog and our baby. Hosts were very helpful if needed

Molly’s place was the perfect spot for us as we were in town for a family event. The location was perfect and quick drive to nearby Birmingham and Royal Oak. And there are a number of great restaurants and coffee spots within walking distance. The home was quiet despite being right off a main thoroughfare. The home was clean, easy to access, and having a fenced in back yard for our two pups was ideal. There was even room in the driveway for two vehicles, which was nice since there is no overnight street parking. Overall, our stay could not have been any better. And we will definitely consider returning during our next cross-country trip.

Nested between scenic blue Heron lake and parks in peaceful and safe neighborhood, this place is a hidden gem. Having a pet friendly home next to parks is like icing on the cake. This place is located 10 mins from everything in Windsor town and in the same street as the upcoming battery factory . I and family enjoyed staying at the pristine home that Hannah was hosting, she was friendly and responsive to doubts that we had ahead of our visit. I would definitely book her home for my next visit and will recommend it to everyone I know.

Great property. Plenty of parking for our 3 cars. Quiet neighbourhood but within a short drive (10 minutes or less) to almost everything we needed. Very clean, well maintained, comfy beds, great kitchen and backyard; pool table a nice touch. Easily accommodated 6 adults and one service dog. Easy check in. Well worth the $. We will stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Robin!

Kajana was a really good host who communicated effectively and efficiently. We had a plumbing leak and she had a plumber there within an hour. Would happily stay with Kajana again.
