A great place for a couple day get away. Beautiful location; friendly neighbour's and their dogs were very friendly too 🤣 The house had everything you could need. And the beach was just a 5 minute walk. And heaps of native birds around the property too. Would definitely stay again.

He whare mahana, he whare ataahua i ruruhau i a mātau ko aku hoa mahi. Ka nui te mihi ki a Papa Bill kōrua ko to hoa rangatira. We really appreciate the extra touches like yummy baking, breakfast cereals, milk, and fruit. Always a pleasure to stay at Te Whare Poutapeta. E mihi ana!

Pine has made a small hidden gem over there. It was a beautiful and comfortable place. Good bed and good shower. I loved the outside table in front of the cabin. The place has a lot of privacy and it is rather quiet. Beach and town are walking distance. Pine is very friendly and respectful.

Doris’s place was wonderful! It was by far the best accommodation we’ve experienced in New Zealand. The space was incredibly clean and peaceful, perfect for our group of five adults. Doris was a fantastic host, always helpful and quick to respond. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

What a gorgeous Airbnb right across the street from a beautiful beach in Waihau bay! The deck and giant windows open right to the ocean. Its a few kilometers from the Waihau Bay Lodge and store where scenes from "Boy" were filmed and friends and I got to practice our Chardonnay eye rolls. There's no cell service on my spark mobile plan, but the wifi at the AirBnB works great. Airbnb gave me coordinates that were about a kilometer away from the actual home, so I got the proper address from Meagan beforehand and was able to check in seamlessly. Thanks Meagan!
