Cute bungelow with a great screened in porch offering the best sunsets in Birmingham! Clean and comfy with high quality bedding! Much better than your standard hotel room! Full kitchen (stocked with the essentials), washer and dryer, dining room (great for working on your laptop), full bathroom with shower/tub, and bedroom which also has patio access to overlook the valley! We really enjoyed our stay. Here in Birmingham for a family wedding, we needed room for 6 and the Patriot house worked out great. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with two huge walk-in showers. Kitchen was very clean and the living area very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, especially at night, which we liked. Josh was a very responsive host. I would highly recommend the Patriot House for anyone wishing to stay in Bham, especially if you have things to do with UAB or downtown.

I was very impressed with the amenities! The washer and dryer were fantastic—super convenient and worked perfectly. The dishwasher was also great, making clean-up a breeze. One of my favorite features was the abundance of beautiful windows throughout the space, letting in plenty of natural light that made everything feel warm and inviting. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it!

The house was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. We had a different place set up and when we arrived at the home at 10 pm, we needed to cancel and find something else. The next morning, we discovered Candice’s place and she was very responsive and accommodating. We were able to secure our stay and obtain the code within hours. I suppose if I had to list some things I wish the home had, a yard and laundry facilities would have been ideal, but these things didn’t affect our stay. 😀

Mark had a great spot here with very thoughtful touches like the scavenger hunt that our three (3) kids loved. There were so many bedrooms here and places to explore within this great house that I felt like you could sleep in a different bed or use a different bathroom each night there were so many! :) For our family of 5 and my mom, it was so much space and worked out just right for a short weekend! We would definitely stay here again and maybe invite another couple families to come stay.

After 6 years away, we were back in B’ham for our son’s wedding and the house was perfect for our visit. The 3 full baths made it easy for 5 adults to shower and dress without running out of hot water. The house was comfortably uncluttered making it a safe location for our 3.5 yr granddaughter. The pop-up crib was a wonderful feature for the baby. The fully stocked kitchen made breakfast prep a breeze. Homewood park was our granddaughter’s favorite park, and we checked out several! We did not do the game level fair justice as we had many events at area sights but let me say the game level is fully stocked. You will be happy with your decision to stay here. The best piece of mind aspect was knowing the house was pet free as several of us have allergies.
