This is Bluebird Herb Farm. A well-loved home for our 4 children, it is spacious stylish & easy to live in. Two living rooms - 1 on each floor make this an ideal home for 2 families. Large sized TVs on each floor; 2 bedrms + 2 baths down and 3 bedrms + 1 bath upstairs; a carved staircase and with a painterly tile landing, we have have lots of outdoor space - large decks w/ spectacular views of Taos Mtn, a secluded patio w/ hot tub and grill - 5 miles west of Taos Plaza - w/ ample parking.

Taos Earthship, 2 bdrm Virtual Hideaway!

This Earthship is great for experiencing a home that is quiet, serene, romantic, private, (one acre lot) surrounded by acres of sagebrush and chamisa. and is only 15 minutes from town. The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

This is a must-do! The Earthship was even better than described, despite cold temperatures. I do recommend warm clothes and slippers if staying in cold months. You will want to go outside to stargaze no matter the temperature. It was the best night sleep ever. Overall, it was very comfortable, welcoming, and a great way to catch a glimpse of sustainable living.

This is a wonderful, authentic adobe home. It dates back to the 1800s, and is surrounded by a neighborhood that matches that history. The hilltop views of the valley and the mountains are fantastic. Marc is an attentive host and worked hard to make sure we could use the place during the holiday season. The location is also amazing: It's right next to a historic chapel and in the same area as the landmark adobe San Francisco de Asís Mission Church.

This place is incredible!!! Nothing like we've ever seen or experienced before. The place looked better than the pictures and felt very comfortable. Everything was clean and perfect. It was an all girls trip this time and we couldn't stop smiling and saying how awesome the home was!! The Raven's lair bathroom is just wow. Soooo coooool! Easy to find, easy to park, extremely easy to get in. Lora was an excellent, quick responsive host and helped us with the tricks to get the vents to open. She checked in with us and made sure everything was in order and available. Seriously, the best birthday I could have ever imagined. ♡ Thank you, Lora for an unforgettable, perfect birthday! I think I want to build my own someday, now!

This casita was cozy and comfortable. The fireplace was set up with everything necessary to warm up your evening. The bed was so comfortable. It is close enough to the plaza that you won't even need your car. Zenya was very attentive and easy to reach for any questions. I highly recommend and would be happy to stay here again.

I thought it a good value because, while pricier that most airbnbs, the experience is unique. I have known of Earthships for decades and have lately been getting serious about owning one. This was valuable research and a step toward making that a reality. It's also good to know that, while I would make some design changes, the systems work very well and it was very comfortable to stay in one. On the whole, it was a very educational and inspiring stay!

King Room - Magical Adobe House on Rio Grande

This was one of the most peaceful air bnbs I’ve ever stayed in. From the thick quieting walls of the adobe, to the extremely comfortable king size bed and pillows, to the gorgeous outdoor area right on the river with the biggest willow tree I’ve ever seen in my life overhead … it was wonderful. Additionally, the brewery up the road had really good food. It is a shared space which is well noted in the listing. However other guests had difficulty with the outdoor keypad lock, and the bedroom door lock was just a doorknob lock with no key. To make this place feel more safe, especially for single female travelers, I would recommend installing better locks on the bedroom doors with keys and ensuring the outdoor keypad is more easily usable by guests.
