Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Taormina

We have been using Airbnb for many years now, so when we meet very good hosts we recognise them straight away. Agatino is naturally able to make you feel welcome, the villa is very elegant and the garden is very well maintained with a very nice view of the vignard. Nothing was missing inside the house and we actually didn’t know that breakfast was included, so a nice bonus. In other words we only stayed two nights but we wish we had stayed longer.I hope we will have a chance to come back again.

Benny is an incredible host. We had a wonderful two days there. His place is in a great location and we loved everything about it! We also went to CutìLuDissi which is his and his business partner’s restaurant. It is located right where everything is happening and the entire meal was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!🇮🇹

The view from Laura's place is great. You can see the ocean but we had rain so didn't get to use it much. Bed and apartment were cozy and comfortable. lots of art on display and lots of history in the home. Great place in Taormina.

Perfect place to stay in a remote mountain setting. A peaceful time after frenetic Palermo. Walking around town and outside town for a short hike was just what we needed! No restaurants to speak of open during our stay (February) but had a fun time putting together meals between the butcher shop, bakery and grocery store. Beautiful outside sitting area to enjoy a sunny lunch! Impeccably restored and pristine. Definitely recommend!

Piera and Alessandro were waiting for us when we arrived with wine and a warm fire. The place is super cozy, the kitchen well equipped and is close to all the places we wanted to visit around the Etna and Catania. It was really an amazing experience to come back home after a long day of walking to light the fire and get some rest in a calm and quiet environment. They also gave us recommendations of what to visit and checked on us regularly. Totally recommended!

Everything was perfect! The apartment was so beautiful with an amazing view from the terrace where we could enjoy our dinner. Our co-host Lena was just perfect, she picked us up from the train station and was so helpful with everything, she gave us a lot of nice recommendations. Acireale is a cute city with very good food spots! A car is recommended to explore the beaches and places nearby because acireale itself doesn’t have a beach to spend the whole day at. Grazie Mille for everything!! We had the best time!

Loved our stay at Vincenzo’s place. Very roomy, spotlessly clean and peaceful. Would definitely recommend Vincenzo’s place when visiting the east of Sicily. Car recommended, then from there, there is lovely places to visit within easy reach .Lovely hosts as well .

We had a great stay at Chiara's apartment. It was exactly as described and suited our family extremely well. The balcony and the views from it really are amazing!

We had a great time on your apartment- would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a high quality retreat. The apartment is located in walking distance to down town aci Trezza and has an amazing view of the ocean. It was great to have private parking as we wouldn’t have felt too comfortable having the rental car on the side of the road. Niky was fast to respond if we had any questions regarding the apartment or the area. One thing we would recommend is having firewood for the indoor fireplace at hand for future visitors- as spending time looking for right kind of firewood could have been avoided. Had a wonderful stay in Taormina at Mike’s place. You can’t beat the location and the view.

Sabrina’s casa is absolutely delightful. A gem of a find, we loved the space and the amenities. It’s comfortable, well maintained and kitted out with whatever one could need. We spent hours on the balcony, enjoying the unblocked sea view and only wished we’d had a few more days to spend there. If we go Taormina again, we will definitely try to book Sabrina’s. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

We really enjoyed our stay at Alessandra's place. She was even waiting for us at 11.30 pm, we had a late flight, to show her apartment. Everything was within walking distance and the car could be parked at the house. Great! Alessandra had also brought the first necessities into the house. In short, definitely recommended to book this stay.

We had an INCREDIBLE time at Helgas Place. It was absolutely beautiful and the perfect set up for my family of 6. We had everything we needed and you couldn’t beat the proximity to Porta Messina. Sabina was so lovely and immediately responsive. We LOVED the recommended driver Sebastian. Would recommend to anyone who asks!

The apartment was very clean and cozy. We particularly liked the large balcony and the street was relatively quiet. The restaurants (with very good food) are within walking distance. The communication with Elvira worked great. Should we visit this area again, we will be happy to book again

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

We rented Paul's villa for a family holiday and had a wonderful time. The place is perfect for a large group, and the kitchen is well-equipped for serious cooking. We were a group of 9 adults and had ample space to sleep and hang out together. It was only about 30-40 minutes from the airport, and about 5-7 minutes from the center of Viagrande, which has some excellent shops for the gastro-tourist. The outdoor grounds are also very nice, but we were there in December and did not take full advantage. In short, I highly recommend Paul's villa.

Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

Tranquil, beautiful mountainside villa about 10 minutes from Bronte with imposing view of Etna and surrounded by vineyards, magpies, and flocks of sheep. The exterior of the building is volcanic rock, giving an “old-world” Italian feel. The host, Nunzio, went far above and beyond the call of duty in welcoming us after a difficult travel in the middle of the night, helping us when our rental car ran a flat tire on the way there, making introductions in town and guiding us through city hall, recommending restaurants where I ate some of the best food in my life, and overall caring for us and treating us as family. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for his care and support while we were here.

Amazing stay in a perfect villa with the BEST hosts! Isabella was so communicative, very helpful with recommendations ( including local arancini festival) and flexible with check in/out. Villa was great and she also arranged for a pizza chef to come in one night and cook some amazing pizzas. We did have 2 cars and used them every day as not much is walking distance, but Villa is very well located for trips to beach, Taormina, suracuse & Etna … and in such a lovely Villa we had little reason to leave! Thanks again and hope to stay again soon 😀

A place of outstanding beauty, surrounded by lush orchards. Graziella and her husband are remarkable hosts: responsive, warm and very kind. Thanks to their valuable tips, we've discovered quality restaurants and fascinating sights to explore in the area. We immediately felt at home. Also, having arrived late at night, they had the delicacy to leave us breakfast for the next morning. An unforgettable stay.

Had a wonderful time at Francesco's place! He and Giovanna were very welcoming and generous hosts, sharing local recommendations and even some home made wine! The pool was the perfect spot to cool off after a hot day and the house was well placed for excursions to Etna. Thank you both for a delightful stay !
