we felt very comfortable with claudia. everything was clean and exactly as shown. the place is also cute and actually has everything you need. claudia was extremely friendly and helpful. really a great place to relax!

Salvo is an incredibly responsive, gracious and helpful host. He greeted us upon our arrival, showed us around the HUGE apartment and provided fruit, drinks (water, wine, beer), maps, directions and TONS of recommendations for food and activities. The apartment was easy to find, well appointed and spotless. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room and a fully stocked kitchen. It was a 5 minute walk from the central train station and bus terminal, and everything we wanted to see and do in Catania was reachable by foot in 30 mins or less. My wife and I prefer to be outside the main tourist areas, and the local feel of the area was awesome. Vehicle traffic was audible inside the apartment, but with the air conditioner running it wasn’t a problem for us. We had a fantastic 6-night stay in Catania and would highly recommend Salvo and his apartment.

Our stay at La Dimora di Prosperina was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the communication was top-notch. Salvatore was always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with local recommendations. The space itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the train station, so it was supereasy to visit other beautiful towns like Taormina and Siracusa. I truly appreciated the hospitality and care that Salvatore put into making our stay enjoyable. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay in Catania, look no further. We’d definitely book again!

I've had a very pleasant long stay at Gaetanos appartment - the location is perfectly situated to explore all of Catania, the rooms are very spacious and the appartment offers everything you need for six weeks (kitchen utilities, washing machine, reliable wi-fi, regular cleaning, ...). Gaetano himself is a very friendly and always helpful landlord, too. Grazie, mi piacerebbe molto ritornare!

Wonderful apartment, furnished with love. SPA as described, Jacuzzi seems even bigger than in the photos. The location of the apartment allows you to reach the most important places of Catania on foot in a few minutes. Throughout the stay we were supported by a wonderful hostess. Chiara is an extremely positive and smiling person. With full responsibility we recommend the facility to every couple.

Very clean, spacious apartment within walking distance of the old town. Fernando was a very helpful host and was very quick to reach. The apartment was very well appointed, even with detergent, spices and several types of coffee/ tea. Thank you for the little treats. Unfortunately, some sounds/ loud voices from passers-by could be heard from the street at night.

Comfortable and comfortable apartment, it seemed like being at home, the hosts were very kind and ready to give us any information that could be useful, a warm welcome with typical sweets offered and a small final cadeau, in short, one of the best experiences made on Airbnb! Great apartment with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Perfect beach location. Restaurants and supermarket very close. Maria is a great host, making you feel very welcome ready for your Sicilian adventure.

The house is very characterful, full of Sicilian style, from furniture to decoration.From the balcony, you can see the cathedral in the city center directly, the walk past is five minutes, the attractions are all around and can be reached on foot. The host was very attentive and also provided various adapter plugs and electronic mosquito coils.Very recommendable stay, will book again.

Giuseppe has been the most helpful Airbnb host I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. He was very flexible with our late checkin time, as we were on a delayed train from Rome. Even though we were late, he was sure to greet us in person and go over the flat with us, answering all of our questions, and leaving us to ourselves. Immediately after getting off the train and watching it pull away, I realized I had left our one large piece of luggage on the train. I let Giuseppe know once we arrived at the apartment, hoping that he could help. I told him I was going back to the station to talk to the police. Without even telling me, he got to the station before me and spoke to the police on my behalf. I pride myself on learning new languages, but there is no way my fledgling Italian would have been able to handle that level of communication. Thanks to him, we got our luggage back the very next morning. I have never been more grateful to a host. I only wish I could write more!

A good stop on our final few days in Sicily that placed us close to Etna, Catania and Taomarina (all of which we visited). Very friendly and communicative host who met us on arrival, showed us where to park, gave us vouchers for Etna, advice on local towns and a bottle of bubbles - all much appreciated! The apartment was very spacious, with a comfy sofa and large, fully equipped kitchen. Strong aircon in the living room, and we used the fans to channel cool air into the bedroom at night. The garden was pretty (though too hot for us to sit out during a rather warm spell on the island). There were supermarkets and eateries nearby (and you could drive to the beach, but we never made it). WiFi was a bit patchy, but there were storms going on so this may have been an island thing. All in all, this was a good spot!

Spacious, bright ,impeccable and equipped with everything you need. It was very pleasant to stay in him. A few minutes away the Metro allows the arrival to the center. Chiara responded immediately to any questions. Recommended!!!

This stay is amazing! It's exactly like the photos: decorated in a cute way, the bathroom/toilet smelled immaculate and pleasant throughout the apartment. Here you can really feel at home. It's in a central part of the city, so it's very easy to get to all the main attractions. Thanks to Steffy, we were able to check in and check out flexibly, so I haven't seen it anywhere else. We were very satisfied with everything, if we come back to Catania, we will definitely choose Steffy again! :)

Rosanna was an amazing host—helpful, kind, and full of great recommendations. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring Catania region. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it ^.^

My mum and I spend a couple of days over New Year at Francesco's place and we really enjoyed it. Francesco was very very helpful and great with communication. He found for us the perfect restaurant to celebrate NYE. 😊 The apartmenis very central, you are within minutes at the fish market and many restaurants. But it is also very quiet, perfect spot to explore Catania and surroundings. We didn't had any trouble finding parking close by, but this might be more problematic in high season. If we are coming back to Catania, we definitely will try and stay here again.

A very kind host that gave us a lot of information and was always avaliable. The place was clean and had a lot of basic supplies to cook and water in the fridge when we arrived. The only downside was maybe the paperthin walls where we heard both constructions and the neighbors. The pool was also closed for the season which was a bit sad. On the plus side the ocean is beautiful and the village very sweet and close to a lot of nice things. All in all a lovely stay, we recommend it!

A true B & B! We were so sad to only be able to stay one night, it was an amazing experience. Welcoming, warm, and extremely generous. We would recommend this place to stay for anyone! It was perfect!

Beautiful views and colorful sunrises. We didn’t get to use the pool but it is probably perfect in summer. The bus to town is not very reliable. We ordered pizza our first night along with beer and wine delivered which was very handy. Close doors at dusk as we did have pesky mosquitos buzzing at night.

Salvo is a brilliant host, really helpful and kind. We thought the apartment was beautiful it had everything we needed and more and the beds were very comfortable! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Salvo and his apartment deserve five stars!

Noemi’s apartment was the best one in a row of apartments in our journey. First, Noemi is very respectful and caring - all the communication with her was a pleasure. Secondly, the apartment itself is much better it looks on the photos - it is cozy, qualitative amenities, 2 spacious terraces with beautiful views on Etna and surroundings. Every time we were at home it really felt relaxing. I need to admit fast Internet (was important for me as I was working), well working air conditioners in every room and overall qualitative equipment, furniture and plumbing - didn’t have any issues with anything. As for the location: there is a pool right in front of the entrance. The closest beach is just outside the residence - crystal water, but the beach is doubtful in terms of comfort. The only bad thing about our stay is Mascali itself - not the most beautiful and prosperous place in Sicily, but the residence, its comfort and views drive you away from that

Iole's place was very wonderful, we enjoyed the swimming pools and balcony. Also it's on good location to get to the old town (if you are into some hiking tjen it's possible even on foot).

If you’re looking for a safe, secure, and spacious accommodation that feels isolated but is right next to everything you need to see in Taormina then you found the spot. The apartment has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Sicilian coastline and neighboring Calabria. Beautiful pool, gardens, and easy access to the Main Street of Taormina. The place was stocked with supplies, plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, some food, and a delicious bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Highly recommend for a first time visit to the area!
