Absolutely beautiful place and the host was amazing and very helpful and gentle. He always made sure I was fine and he was very understanding. Grate stay, everything was very close by walk and it very good because unfortunately not many taxis are in Assilah. The house is clean and quiet. Recommend

I've been going to chaouen many years, but I've never felt as comfortable as this time. Staying in the riad of Hamid was a unique experience in every way. Hamid has been present at any time, he is a super friendly and respectful person, he recommended us restaurants and every day he called to make sure we don't miss anything and if we need anything (my mother got sick and made her some drinks every day to make her feel good). I am very grateful for your humanity and humility. The riad is spectacular and located 2min from everything (famous plaza uta hammam, shops, restaurants..). As for the suites, they are very nice and the beds are super comfortable, the cleanliness 10, the breakfast is super rich and complete. The common areas are very cozy and beautiful. The riad has a view that leaves you hallucinating.. without a doubt I would repeat and recommend this wonderful place with my eyes closed! ❤️ Thank you Hamid for everything 🙏

This was the best accommodation on our trip through Marocco. A nice littel house in the city wall with a unforgettable view over the ocean. Very central (in the medina) but still very quiet. The breakfast and the dinner (if you want) ist cooked and served in the house. So you do not have to go out fore it. The owners are absolutley friendly and helpful. If you need something, they are right there to help. The price-performance ratio is more than ok. We would recommend Dar Jean with all our heart!!

Our stay at this riad was simply great! Already at the time of booking, we had great communication with the host, who was always helpful and open to all our questions. The on-site staff was extremely friendly and made our stay particularly pleasant. We were allowed to safely store our luggage after check-out and also use the comfortable seating on site to work a little more, which really made the day easier. A special highlight was the breakfast served every morning on the beautiful roof terrace. The Moroccan breakfast was not only typical, but also incredibly delicious – especially the freshly squeezed orange juice was a treat! It was the perfect start to the day, with a great view of the city. The beds were very comfortable, and even if, as in many riads, the walls are a bit thin, for us that is simply part of the authentic experience.

Great little room right next to the medina. Everything as described and everything I needed. Excellent for the price paid. Will definitely return.

I'm at a loss for words to describe the stay we had, we were with a 3-month-old baby, the host met us at the nearest parking lot, helped us carry the luggage, and showed us around the city during our trip. The rooftop is amazing, the breakfast too, we couldn't have asked for more. We'll be back this winter with friends. Special mention for Nassim who knew how to listen, you can go there without so much as a second thought.

Airbnb is in the perfect location! The room is small, but for one or two travelers it is great. The room is clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well!I would highly recommend this place for future guests!

A very charming Riad. No frills, but excellent value for the price. During our stay a very helpful young gentleman, Hamid, was the only person there and ran the whole place. he did an admirable job singlehandedly. He helped us book our departure bus and answered all our questions. If you call ahead, he will arrange to have porters meet you at the drop off and carry your bags in. We happily tipped them both 20 MAD each. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. Thanks Hamid!

The most beautiful accommodation of our trip to Morocco to date. It was beautiful, far from the noise of the medina. The owner and employees were extremely nice and generous, not to mention the quality of the food offered at a low price. They suggested activities and even offered us take-away sandwiches so we could go hiking. Definitely recommend staying here!

the terraces are superb but an arrangement of these would be a plus (umbrella, sunbed, pillow) the only bemol but which is not the fault of the accommodation but rather of the evacuation of the water used the smell in the bathroom otherwise great welcome and real local breakfast to be redone
