Thomas’s listening was beautiful. It was a short trip but very peaceful. The family enjoyed the pool, s’more by the fire pit, the game room and the short walks to the lake. The tall trees and view were amazing to wake up to. Definitely great place to stay with family.

We used this house for a family wedding vacation and it was great!! Very beautiful and very peaceful out on the patios. Perfect for all of us. Would rent this house again.

Five Stars – A Perfect Lakeside Getaway for the family! Team Vaughn had an amazing stay at Hickory Hideaway at the Lake! The home is cozy, peaceful, and very well maintained—everything you could want for a relaxing retreat. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful, the kids loved the private pool, we spent hours fishing from the dock, and we even took the row boat out for a spin! Ultimately, we thoroughly enjoyed soaking it all in and making wonderful family memories! Ms. Ellen was a fantastic host—very responsive and thoughtful, providing lots of helpful information that made our stay even better. You can really tell she puts care into every detail. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic escape⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This has been yet another amazing stay!! We have reserved this Air B&B for 3 years now and each time Nina has provided an incredible and hassle free experience. Full of amenities, a complete kitchen arrangement, a quiet driveway and amazing views, this Air B&B has countless things to compliment and I’m happy to say we will continue using it as long as we can <3 It has gone from a vacation home to an ACTUAL home, just far away from our regular one.

Of all of my AirBnB stays Natanya's place was by far the best experience to date. The house was amazing. It was perfect for what we were there for. There was so much space. Even after viewing the listing numerous times I was still shocked at how large the home was. It was perfectly stocked. It had something for everyone. The kids kept busy with the numerous activities the home has to offer - the game room, books, toys. The moms enjoyed the dock and hot tub, and the guys loved the fact that they could dock their fishing boats on the property. It was literally a dream house and we can't wait to go back.

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.

We had a great time! Matt had plenty of firewood there for us to use and he was really helpful throughout the entire process. Highly recommend!

Always a 5-star place to stay. We have family in Franklin and always want this house and are very disappointed if it is already taken. Quiet, peaceful location. Easy to get to. It's always neat and clean, decorated so beautifully. Plenty of amenities. We've stayed in other houses (when we couldn't get this one) and the host only provided 1 dishwasher pod, 1 laundry pod, 1 trash bag, etc. - certainly not enough for a weekend. Cherisse is always available and helpful. A perfect host.

I think this was our 5th or 6th stay, I’ve lost count. We love this place and will come again!

Beautiful view and plenty of room for our family. Kerry responded quickly to my questions and gave clear directions. I’m glad she recommended to stay on paved roads since we arrived at night and alternate routes take you down gravel roads. Convenient location for our stay to enjoy snow tubing and amenities at the Sapphire Valley Community Center.

We loved being able to travel with our dogs. The backyard was beautiful we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well as letting the dogs run free in the woods in the back! She was very responsive and a great host.

We visited Phillip’s lake house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday, along with a few of her friends and our family. Within 20 minutes of being there, our daughter asked us if we could rent again this summer! The house is beautifully appointed (the girls loved the leopard stair runners!), and the home was absolutely pristine. The owners have left no stone unturned when it comes to detail, instruction and comfort, and there was plenty to entertain our crew inside and out! The surroundings are somewhat ethereal, not to mention peaceful, even with 6 teen girls, a ten year old boy, and our pup! We all loved that he got to join us, and being the water dog he is, he was in heaven! Our favorites were exploring the lake in the canoe and other water toys, so generously provided, and star gazing on the dock! We can’t wait to visit again! This home may have become our new Highlands tradition!

Had a wonderful stay at this lake house. It was perfectly clean and very cozy. Our group felt right at home. The lake was beautiful and we got to enjoy some time relaxing on the dock. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. My husband and I were in town for a quick weekend of house hunting, this made a great home base. Lots of little touches that made our stay comfortable and go very smoothly. Great location, private, peaceful. When we come back we’d stay here again for sure.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. My wife liked the accessories in the kitchen. She felt like she was in her kitchen. We will be back again.

Great stay! Beautiful house and very nice lake.

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Brittany's place in Ball Ground. Everything was exactly what we expected! It was definitely worth the stay, and I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the Ball Ground area!

Terry’s home was an amazing couple of days… everything you need to feel at home and more! The views were spectacular, the gardens a treat to walk through, birds chirping, nice fire pit! The bedrooms are all very inviting and the bathrooms are each luxurious in their own way! Top notch place… I highly recommend!

Linda and Keith were very hospitable. Gave suggestions for places to dine at and visit. The beds were comfortable the kitchen had everything you need. She even asked what kind of coffee we drink so that she would have upon are arrival. Anytime we texted her response was very prompt. I would highly recommend the shady rest to all that are visiting in the area. You’re close to so many water falls which are amazing.
