Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Talkeetna

This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and we’ll probably be back. It’s a lovely house with everything you need!

Very nice tiny house with all the amenities. We were able to cook most of our meals in the small kitchen. Very warm and insulated with central heating. Also super close to some nice trails for snowshoeing/ cross country skiing!

Had a great stay, very welcoming and cozy place. Was welcomed by Travis upon arrival and he explained all that was needed to know. Place was very clean but gave 4stars on that just because the coffee maker could have used a cleaning. We will be back.

This is by far one of best airbnb experiences we’ve had. Andy was extremely responsive and gave some great tips for ice fishing on the lake that resulted in great success for our family. The space was extremely clean and well kept and the location itself is very private, peaceful, and secluded. We’re already talking about planning a trip back as soon as possible! We would highly recommend to anyone!

Holly was extremely nice. she lives below the unit so we saw her outside a couple of times. she made sure to extend an offer for whatever we needed but the place was well equipped. liked how simple it was, it offered nice space with a very relaxing feel, like a private retreat. most of all love that it is dog friendly with a bed and bowl and blanket for the dog. good reading material. the kitchen was very nice, cooked a complex dinner in there and had everything we needed. board games were a nice touch. holly was willing to share certain items like the grill. property is a nice winter escape amongst the birch trees. it would have been nice to use the wood fireplace but they ask you not to use it. place was perfectly warm but a cozy for would be a nice touch! will return to this one.

Best place to stay if you like the great outdoors but still with amenities. So dark at night you could see the milky way when there is no clouds. Larry is super friendly, loves the outdoors and sharing it. Borrowed his canoe to paddle across the lake to his other cabin in the woods. Would recommend fully.

Such a cozy space! Loved the short trail to town- being so close to town and having privacy was perfect. We will stay here again!

What a magical space! Beautiful cabin and interior vibe. Even had a Christmas Tree for a wonderful ambiance. Great location! Will definitely book for future Talkeetna trips!

We continue to come back each year as it's a beautiful cabin with all the comforts of home. Convenient location in town, breathtaking scenery, fun area to explore. Highly recommend.
