Waterfront vacation rentals in Taiwan

We only stayed for one night as a quick layover before continuing on to another country, but everything was awesome! First, we got an upgrade to a room with an amazing view of the river. Secondly, this is a self check in, but our host was so kind to meet us at the train station and got us all checked in. Even though we were exhausted from a long day of travel, he suggested awesome spots to try for dinner. The communication was great, the place is in the perfect location from the MRT. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Breakfast shop downstairs, 24-hour convenience store next door!Taipei's quiet suburbs are really suitable for spontaneous stays for a night to relax, and the rooftop terrace is a must-go

Anita’s apartment was perfect for a solo traveler like myself. It’s got all the listed amenities, and it’s located right next to a bustling night market with great food. It’s also located very close to a riverwalk - perfect for morning walks to wake yourself up. Anita is a wonderful host who is quick to respond to messages. I’ll be back for sure next time I get to visit the beautiful country of Taiwan. Thanks for the great stay, Anita!!!

we found that tarokos house was AMAZING! The host was extremely helpful and provided recommendations for many local activities. this apartment was very clean and spacious. we felt right at home from the moment we arrived! We will always recommend taroko and Diana as hosts to anyone visiting hualien. very surprised at how amazing they were especially considering the price! thank you so much for making us feel welcome and providing a stress free residence for our stay in hualien! can't wait to stay again in the future!

Great for big families, kids love the space to run around. Our 3rd time here and it feels like our home away from home. Love that there is a sheltered parking space within the building, so helpful when travelling with kids and alot of luggage.

The thoughtful attention to detail truly reflects the care and passion that Cherry & Michael have put into this place. Our family, including the kids, felt completely at home, making it a wonderful home-away-from-home experience. The excellent location, stunning views, well-designed space, and, most importantly, the warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

It's a lovely place for a huge group. The amenities like KTV system, dart board and arcade are fantastic for group entertainment! Never tried the MJ as not enough time and taiwan MJ is abit different. The only drawback is the 4 stories and climbing... Haha.. But it's okay if the group have strong legs

Friendly and hospitable, would definitely not miss it if visiting hualien!

The location is close from Wai 'ao Station! Friends who don't have a car are very friendly, the host's sister communicates instantly and responds to the feeling of returning to another home💕 There are also recommended restaurants, gourmet spots, no thunder at all! 迎賓小點小卡so sweet! The bed is super good. I don't want to get up at all! Thanks for a great New Year's Eve! Will be back there such a good place!

Jiajia was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She greeted us warmly upon arrival and provided a brief tour of the house, pointing out where to find key items, suggesting activities in the area, and noting that the location was conveniently close to many attractions. She was also very accommodating when we were running a bit late checking out. Although I noticed some dust in the couch crevices and the dish sponge wasn’t in the best shape, the house itself was overall clean, well-maintained, and beautifully designed.

Some ants and a big cockroach, the stairs were not good to walk but overall it was nice

Quiet, family-oriented feel with help with all things Green Island travel. The scenery is beautiful. We’re a family of four and greatly enjoyed this corner of paradise for a week and could have stayed longer. Host is top notch and speaks English.

My family and I stayed here for a few nights during Lunar new year. Communication with Angel, the host was good. The place was spacious and clean. It was fully equipped with all the essentials. The only downside was the security cameras that we noticed in the living room, which was not specified in the listing. In North America, there could be security cameras outside the unit, at the front entrance. But certainly not inside the unit. My only suggestion is for the host to disclose this in the listing and clarify the intention of these indoor cameras. Other than that, the unit is comfortable, and we appreciated the easy communication and check in. Thank you Angel.

Airport to stay is very close, the accommodation is not bad, it takes 5 minutes in the vicinity, 711, the whole family, Starbucks, food shops, etc., everything, the room is good, the space is large, clean, microwave, large refrigerator, etc.. There should be no shortage, introduction….👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room is clean and comfortable, you don't have to worry about parking by car, and the view of the sea is really great ~ second time in Toucheng, really love the chill feeling here👍

Everything is great😍 clean and sufficient facilities. However the walking distance to the place from metro station is far about 15 mins walking distance. Overall is great!

We loved 孝中’s place in the Zhiben Hot Spring area. The place is very clean and quiet. It was relaxing soaking in the hot spring water right in our own bathtub. We enjoyed having the forest right outside our rear balcony. 孝中 gave us a tour of the area, showed us the village nearby with the train station, and the national forest preserve a couple of kilometers up the mountain. He allowed us to check in early, provided many drinks, and made us feel welcome. We used the clothes washing/drying machine, which worked perfectly. We spent two days hiking at the forest preserve and saw several monkeys and muntjacs (beautiful miniature deer), and also some exotic birds. One day we took the 15 minute bus ride to the train station, then the train one stop (9 minutes) to Taimali so that we could spend the day on the peaceful, lovely (rocky) beach at the sea. So, with the forest and the sea nearby and a private hot spring in the bathroom, we found this to be one of our favorite places ever.

It really is the first row of amazing views of the sea, listening to the sound of the waves is very comfortable and relaxing, it is a good place to stay for a vacation and will want to visit again in the future

Amazing host and great location in Nankan! Heidi was so easy to communicate with and made the stay right at home. Loved the curated space and how easy it is to get to restaurants and public transportation. Highly recommend for those visiting Taoyuan!

I had a great experience, definitely well worth the money if you’re looking for a place close to everything in Tamsui. Host is very spot on and helpful. Overall a great 10/10 would recommend.

This was such a nice place to stay for the night after a long day of cycling. I wish I could have stayed another night or two. My only issue is that there were no towels but this was stated in the house rules, I just missed it when I made the reservation.
