Gorgeous 2BR Heart of Northstar Village @ Gondolas

Jaysa's place is an easy and lovely home away from home. It's well-situated in Northstar, well-stocked, and very easy to live in. She's put time and thought into a welcome packet with lots of information and suggestions. It had all the things to make eating, sleeping, and relaxing possible. Definitely appreciated the variety of kitchen appliances, and in-unit laundry. There are plenty of basics in the kitchen (oils, spices, etc.) and we happily left some things others may find valuable in the future. In all, it's a great place and value. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful location that is conveniently located to various hiking trails, beaches and town. The captivating view was the highlight! Sue was an excellent host and provided a lot of helpful details about the surrounding area which was so helpful. We look forward to returning soon!

This home is very comfortable; had everything we needed and really cute! They have a few cute seating areas by the creek (at least before the snow comes!!). and the babbling of the creek is so peaceful!! would definitely come back any time of year. Devin is very responsive!

Lize was an exceptional host, leaving a thoughtful bottle of red wine and chocolates chilled in the fridge for us. My girlfriend and I had an unforgettable Thanksgiving holiday. I was able to cook a perfect turkey with all the trimmings in the stunning gourmet kitchen, all while enjoying breathtaking views. We savored our meal at the dining room table, with a picturesque backdrop that made the experience even more special. The house itself is absolutely lovely— spacious, relaxing, comfortable, and with incredible views from every room. The scenery/sunrises were beyond words! We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this place for both holidays and weekend getaways!!

Comfy, coxy, clean. In a quite neighborhood and bigger in the inside! Didnt have to worry about anybody tripping over one another because there is plenty of space to spread out. Easy to find things and great for a pretty sizable group to make dinner and play cards without being squeezed together!

Classic Tahoe Charm - Get Away From it All -2 Bdrm

Stayed a few nights over the Thanksgiving holidays and loved the tasteful rustic decor that contributed to the cozy atmosphere enhanced by the lovely fireplace and reading nook by the window. Well stocked home with lots of (board) games that my we enjoyed playing when we weren't outside walking to the pathways along the lake or restaurants in the vicinity. Also came with sled/saucers that we took up to Mt Rose for nearby sledding. The oversized jacuzzi bath tub in one bathroom and large shower with powerful water streams in the other were a delight to return to after a long day of hiking and playing in the snow. Shirley was very responsive to my messages. Overall, it was the consensus opinion that this was one of our favorite Airbnb rentals and would love to stay here again if available. Thank you Shirley for opening up your condo to us, and providing such a lovely homey experience. Your high ratings are well deserved!

This is a beautiful, well-appointed house and is great for a couple of families or several friends to stay in together. We were just 5 adults, so each got their own bedroom. I would mention that the downstairs bedroom is not the best for a sensitive sleeper, as the noise from the heating system can be bothersome at night. This room also did not have real window coverings during our stay - there were temporary stick-up paper-like pleated window shades which had to be secured with a clip by standing on something to reach up high. Not ideal. Also, not everything in the kitchen is as it appears - the secondary sink on the kitchen island was out of order, as was the secondary small oven. The primary master suite is huge and beautiful, but the jets in the jacuzzi tub was not working during our stay. Overall these things did not detract from our fun, but it would have been nice to have everything as advertised for what we paid for this rental. Still all in all, highly recommended.

Bret’s cabin was in the perfect location. He was also very quick to respond to messages. He was a great host. We came here to play in the snow. We were a little nervous at first because the shopping center we stopped at before heading to the house had very little snow around. The 3 mile drive up to the house was less than 10 minutes. There was tons of snow at the cabin. The house is very well stocked. Nice big kitchen to do all the cooking for a group of 7. The game room downstairs was lots of fun for everyone.

The place was great. You can hike outside; relax on the porch; fix dinner in a great kitchen and it has air conditioning or a stove if you see snow in August for the first time in 20 years. Doug and Katy were great hosts with an amazing place for you and your family.

wow! when we were looking for a place to host a family getaway we didn't know what we were in for with this hidden gem! absolutely fantastic 👏 inside and out, so much charm and so clean. lots of fun touches like the bar in the middle of the entertaining area, sunken living room, and mini golf and hot tub outside. we felt off the grid with so many amenities. we never left for the entire time! p.s. we WILL be back! and to drive the point home even more--we are local and this is the place we will plan future family gatherings!
