Vacation rentals with a patio in Ta Van

Hop is very nice and accommodating. Two tips for new guests: look for the BB Homestay signage and contact the host via WApp before going to Ta Van so she can send you the pinned location. I give her perfect stars. If you need a transportation to Sa Pa, please message the host as she will be the one who’ll contact the nice drivers.

This stay was so gorgeous!!! The home is so cute and cozy and very clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful with any questions we had and with renting a bike and responded very quickly. We have been traveling around northern Vietnam and it has been so cold at night and this is the first place where we weren’t shivering at bedtime. They provided space heaters, extra blankets, and an electric blanket that was so helpful. We were so grateful for these! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone! We were shocked when we arrived at the Airbnb. The pictures already looked amazing, but once we arrived it was so much better than we had hoped. Big open windows of the rice fields (which I hope Anh will put more clearly in the preview, because waking up to the sunrise when we decided not to cover the window blinds was the best decision) and easy access to several hikes which we decided to take! Sapa was amazing, but seeing this town was even better. Some of our friends decided to extend their stay once they realised that the bed had a warmer function we didn't know about before arrival. We decided to go hiking without a guide, and locals helped us find the right paths when we were at forks in the road. The supermarkets were in easy walking distance and open until 21. The nearby restaurants also had amazing food with very generous portions. We were able to sit down and have coffees while talking to some very nice people we met while we were here.

Overall, the place was very beautiful. It was a nice place to stay if you want to chill and stay at home. If you have plans to go to the city, the place is about 45 mins away and the road is a bit rough and rocky. The host was also very helpful especially in booking a taxi for us to and from the place.

Luna and Dau were very kind hosts (& very cool people), and we were super grateful they invite us to the rice festival while we were there! Their very beautifully renovated homestay ended up being the perfect place for my partner & I to comfortably recharge for a few days in the middle of our busy 2 months. It’s a very cute artsy space with adorable cats & dogs to keep company, and in a nice area with accessible food options as well as trekking tours. Their stewed beef noodles & salted coffee were also delicious!! Wish we could’ve stayed a bit longer and tried some of their workshops :’) Thank you! Hope to meet again <3
