Beautiful house with amazing hosts. Had a wonderful stay and felt right at home. The host bent over backwards to accommodate.

Our entire family (16 adults and 3 dogs) gathered here to celebrate the holidays together. The home is beautiful inside and out! There were plenty of sleeping options, a large kitchen with tons of storage, space to be together as a large group and to split off into smaller groups. At one point during our stay we had a football game on and a shuffle board tourney going in the game room, a card game being played at the dining table and folks working on a puzzle while watching a movie in the main living room area! It was such a great experience that we are looking to go back in the summer!

we just used the house for a one-night bedroom. But we will definitely return for an extended stay next time so that we can enjoy the lake and house. It didn't bother us at all but anyone that has trouble with stairs needs to check before renting. There are quite a few steps to get from the parking to the house. Once you get down to the house, you are stair free and on a beautiful lake.

Aaron was super responsive, proactive, and helpful. The Cottage was even better in person than it looked in the listing, and we had a great time!

A quant serene getaway with just the right amount of amenities to feel rustic, but connected. We like to escape each around the end of each year and this was one of our favorite spots so far. Kids and dog loved the place, too. Some nice hometown places within 15-20 minutes and tons to do and see in Fort Wayne about 35 minutes away. Would definitely stay again!

Jim is a VERY attentive host. Super available on messages, responded quickly to the one problem I had during my stay. Offered early check in. VERY quiet this time of year on the lake ... so much available in the house - ice, hair dryer, towels - everything. Such an easy stay. Also, doesn't demand big clean up like some places. Hoping to stay again. Very reasonable pricing.

Clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. This little cottage was so cozy and relaxing for a Thanksgiving getaway. The living room was the perfect place to sit by the (remote controlled) fireplace and do a whole lot of nothing. Lots of attention to detail in this place. And very CLEAN. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the lake!

It was a peaceful and Fantastic stay! The house is super clean and stocked with everything you would need. Anna is super responsive. Appreciate all the details inside the house to ensure comfort and decor is inviting. I would definitely come back again!

So glad I stumbled upon Steph's Ice House listing. Had a peaceful, almost secluded stay yet close to the many Shipshewana attractions. Impeccably clean and decorated, with modern amenities which would be fantastic for an extended stay. Steph sent a greeting message immediately after my booking and followed up with detailed instructions and area tips. Was pleasantly surprised with doughnuts and popcorn when I arrived, a very nice touch. Looking forward to booking with her again!

Came into town for a week of work. Bertha & Marco’s place on Cree Lake was an outstanding location to be able to focus on work and then go out in the evenings to spend time with friends and family. Plan on trying to reserve this location again in the future.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Needed a quick get away and this could not have been a more perfect spot. The bonus was meeting the incredible folks that make up the neighborhood. Welcoming is an understatement! There is no other place I would rather stay! I have a feeling my little quick get away will become tradition! Welcoming, friendly…. Perfect!!!

Our extended family spend Thanksgiving at the home. If was a wonderful venue, spacious and comfortable. There was plenty space for my three grandchildren to play indoors. It should be amazing in the summer! Kate was wonderful - she and the couple who manages the property for Kate was flexible in regard to our needs with check in and check out. Also, our first evening, the day before Thanksgiving we discover that the microwave was not working. So, in spite of it being Thanksgiving, and us being willing to wait till Black Friday, Kate had the microwave replace on the holiday. Kate wanted to make sure that we were comfortable. The couple who manages the property for Kate was extremely friendly, responded almost immediately.

Like a home away from home. Very comfortable, clean, peaceful. We really enjoyed our overnight stay and would definitely stay again! Hosts were very responsive.

David’s place had everything that we needed for our weekend stay! Had fun with the extra amenities: kayaking, foosball, ping pong etc! Thanks for a great stay!

My husband and a few guys from our crew went to Elkhart to work for a few days, and we chose Leon's place instead of putting the guys in a hotel so they could have a place to kick back and relax They absolutely loved it. It was a bonus to have a second living room, so they didn't have to share the same space the entire time. What problem did arise was quickly solved with a phone call, and he was very responsive. When we come back to work there again, we will definitely try and book here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our time in Wildwood at the ‘Ol Barn. I’ve stayed many times by myself and this time it was sweeter because I got to bring my husband with me and show him all around the area. Lynette & Conrad’s hospitality is second to none and we are grateful that they choose to share their beautiful home on AirBnB.
