Places to stay in Sylacauga

We spent 4 nights together with our family. Justine’s place was perfect for the family to gather in the open living room/kitchen area. The sofas had several recliners and plenty of seating for the 11 of us. My parents use walkers and the first floor was easy for them to move about. The main floor bathrooms have walk in showers and rails in the toilet area. In addition, there were 2 lift recliners for those needing help standing from sitting position. The upstairs was great for the young adults to hang out later at night. Overall we loved Justine’s place and are planing on visiting again in the near future. Oh, the sunsets are gorgeous!! Incredible location on Lake Martin. Tucked behind an island that creates a private cove to enjoy while on the dock. It’s the perfect setup for families with kids and adults alike. We enjoyed hours of paddle boarding, swimming and exploring the water out there. The huge back yard was an added bonus. We’ve stayed at airbnbs worldwide and Stacey’s place is by far the most stocked house we’ve ever rented. You feel as if you are staying at a friend’s place. Truly well done on every level with the amenities, decor, and setup. You can feel the pride they have in the place. For those boating it would be hard to find a better location to enjoy the water. Easy and quick access to multiple restaurants and marinas. We spent hours in the general vicinity of the house tubing and skiing. Nice calm open water. Thank you Stacey well done!

I was looking for a place close to the grandview hospital and for that, Clint’s place suited me perfectly. It was a quick 5 mins drive. They had a gym that was perfect. The apt had all the amenities and wake up Birmingham are quite responsive to any questions and ready to help. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. We stayed for a month and had enough linen and all the utensils needed for cooking everyday. The beds are comfortable and it’s a great place. I only have one recommendation. If the garage fob can be placed along with the apt key in the lockbox it would be easier to just enter the garage with the car once retrieved.

Joeys place was amazing, and such a wonderful host, always responsive. We would love to return. Had such a relaxing time. We loved the privacy of the location

Trip for Talladega races was a success thanks to Tony’s place. 20-25 minutes to the super speedway wasn’t a bad drive. Wish we had time to fish since the house is next to a lake. The house itself is great! No issues at all. And the welcome basket was an unexpected, nice touch. Would stay again if we're coming back down.

We LOVED this rental so much we extended our rental for the rest of our spring break. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and head to Florida but stayed 6 days at Stephanie and Chuck’s. It is a beautiful property. My kids fished and swam every day off of their fabulous dock. We rented a boat and had the best time on Lake Martin. Stephanie recommended a wonderful marina 5 minutes away. There is so much to do and see on the water. Our dog loved being able to run around, met the neighbor dogs and lay in the sun by the water. The accommodations were perfect. The kitchen is awesome. It’s fully stocked with everything you need. They really thought of everything. The laundry, extra bedding, corn hole, grilling, the fire pit, even a swim mat for the kids. The beds were so comfortable! We all felt right at home. Stephanie and Chuck are so kind, very responsive and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back.

The cabin was rented for family coming in from out of State to attend a wedding. Since the children were on spring break that week we decided to take advantage and rent a cabin on the lake. The location was convenient to the wedding venue. We spent the week with our boats out, enjoying the water, fishing and the waterfall. The kids enjoyed the bonfire and making s’mores. The cabin was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of sleeping arrangements for everyone and bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked so we did a lot of cooking in the cabin. I would highly recommend this cabin for any other family who enjoys the water and outdoor fun.

Faye’s place was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend giving her place to stay if you’re in the area.
