We had a fabulous short break to celebrate my wife's birthday. We could not have hoped to have chosen a better place, Warkworth is a great little village with a good selection of places to eat all within walking distance in beautiful surroundings. Close by are several other great towns all with lots to do, see and places for lunch or dinner. Grace is a fantastic host, always responsive and warm with a genuine desire to be helpful and cares to ensure your stay is as good as you want it to be. Finally, the cottage is faultless, beautifully appointed with a cosy lounge and log burner, well equipped and modern kitchen, and great bathrooms with lovely linen and towels. The welcome pack is well chosen and thoughtful and it is great that other things are left that are so often not!, i.e oil, s&p, foil, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc. Grace even left a bottle of bubbly on ice as a birthday treat. A fantastic example of how airbnb should be. Thank you so much. Philip & Caroline

Stunning cottage in a beautiful location , great for family get togethers and very close to all amenities in Alnwick. Lovely walks down the beach and great to see the sunrise and sunsets over the sea.

Ian’s place is lovely, comfy and cosy! The log burning fire is definitely a bonus, especially in the cold evenings. The place is homely, with good Wifi, comfortable beds, decent shower and a well equipped kitchen. The location is great; Perfect for local walks to the high street / the harbour and for driving and exploring the beautiful Northumberland coastline. I would definitely recommend this place and also look to return! 😊

Words cannot describe how amazing Simone is and her gorgeous retreat. I took my Dad away for a little trip away as he is rather poorly and the original place I had booked was appalling! So bad I refused to stay. Thinking I'd have to take my Dad back home as finding somewhere suitable for his needs is slim picking, never mind on an August Friday night at 6pm, last weekend of the summer holidays. Nevertheless, after refusing to give up I found this gem, both in Simone and her retreat. Just what we needed . Simone went above and beyond from the second I placed the booking, she rang me straight away, said she would met us there, she had the retreat warming through for us, lights on and made us feel absolutely at home. So much so I had to give her a hug. The whole experience from start to finish was 10 star. The place is beautiful, the views are outstanding, area is perfect. My Dad is dying to go back already. And I can't wait to take him. See you soon x

3 night stay for my Husbands 50th Birthday. I cant rate this place enough! 👌 From.the off set Paul has been the best host, he facilitated, putting up some 50th decs and balloons for me. said it wasnt a problem.and was a fab surprise for my husband. I had also sent some 50th tee shirts which again Paul had placed out on the bed for us. There was fresh milk, orange juice and a bottle of wine left for us, very much appreciated. The cabin itself is located in a beautiful setting with stunning views over countryside. Easy to find and instructions to access the property were clear and problem.free. The cabin was home from home for us. Beautifully decorated and furnished with love and most importantly, immaculately clean ! Local village pubs/shop within a 15 min walk away and have everything you need. The cabin itself is a credit to Paul, stands out from the rest for very obvious reasons. The hot tub was a lovely added bonus as we watched the storm with a prosecco.

We had a fantastic Christmas here. The lodge is beautiful, clean and so comfy, the pictures do not do it justice. Diane has incredibly helpful with great communication and directions. Milk, tea and coffee were left for us alongside a Christmas card and a box of chocolates. The hot tub was fantastic and we were visited by the swans everyday.

We loved our stay so much we booked to stay an extra night! Was a lovely lodge with everything you need. The hot tub is sunk into the decking which makes it a lot more private and easy to get in and out. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Carolyn is the best Airbnb host I have ever had. She responded in record time to every message. She thought of everything her guests might need. Her cottage is very well-equipped and super-comfortable. Amble is a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return
