We welcome guests into our home only 1km from Kalamunda Centre at the start of the Bibbulmun Track. Our self-contained upstairs suite comprises bedroom, bathroom, lounge, kitchenette and large private balcony with an uninterrupted view of our Regional Parkland. We have an acre of garden with a variety of native and exotic plants, which Linda will be pleased to show you around. It has its own entrance, and consists of a bedroom, a small bathroom, kitchenette (kettle, toaster, bar fridge, microwave - not suitable for cooking full meals), and sitting area on front verandah. 20 mins bus ride to the centre of Perth. We had the most lovely and cosy stay at The Lodge, a real home away from home. The space has been beautifully designed and thoughtfully decorated. Sipping a cuppa on the porch, breathing in the scent of fresh rain and the countryside really made us pause and take it all in. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect escape. Our 3-year-old loved it here. Her highlight was the “view of the city” and, of course, jumping in muddy puddles! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was just gorgeous. We’ll be recommending this place to others and can’t wait to come back sometime soon! Thank you!

Having stayed at a few other Air B&Bs in the area, Carolyn and Nick’s unit is definitely my favourite. Super clean, spacious (including a table for dining or as a work station), a proper closet and fabulous bathroom. They are always very responsive and lovely to interact with. What a great find! Chris & Vee's casita (with a great view of the Indian Ocean and sunsets) was perfect for our needs. Plus, they were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The studio was very conveniently located to anything you might want to do around the Perth area. For example, we visited the Caversham Wildlife Center, Fremantle Prison and Fremantle Marketplace (& Little Creatures Brewery!), downtown Perth, many beautiful beaches, close-by national parks, Hillarys, where we got a fast ferry to Rottenest Island and rented e-bikes (highly recommend booking e-bike at Pedal & Flipper ahead of time and booking the fast ferry from Hillarys on Viator), and we even drove south to Mandurah for a day trip. The accommodation had everything we needed to prepare our healthy meals and lunches. The pool wasn't heated and it was a tad cool for our liking (March), but we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings with a glass of wine. The neighborhood is lovely.

Pete and Julia's place was beautifully located in the hills, only a short drive to the airport and about 30 minutes from the city. The nearby town of Kalamunda had lovely restaurants (Embers Italian was our pick), a farmer's market, walking tracks, and plenty of places to shop for supplies. The house was lovely, tastefully decorated, and the pool and private gardens a welcome bonus. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the hubbub of the city.
