Family-friendly vacation rentals in Surrey

We stayed at Anne’s for a month and couldn’t recommend it more! The property is beautiful and unique, we felt right at home. It was a perfect way to view Vancouver for the first time and in a pretty convenient location. Anne is the most lovely and helpful host with lots of recommendations and advice about the local area. We highly recommend this property to stay and we hope to come back again soon!

Tanja’a place fitted the bill in terms of location and comfort. We’ve had a lovely stay here - comfy beds! One thing to keep in mind is that there can be noise ie footsteps, above (which we expected beforehand) otherwise it’s a cosy apartment. Tanja is a great host who is always helpful with any queries. I will definitely look to book again when I’m in Vancouver next time!

Our family needed a safe and comfortable place for a home base while our newborn grandson was being cared for at BC Children’s Hospital. This property was just what we needed... it was comfortable and felt like home. We did a LOT of cooking, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was lovely, and the deep tub was a real bonus, as was the access to laundry facilities. The neighbourhood was quiet, and we always felt safe there. The host (and his co-host) were friendly and responded quickly to every message we sent. We are so grateful that we found this Airbnb property, and the best thing about it was the host himself... we will never forget his kindness and generosity during one of the most difficult times in our lives!

Greg’s place was exactly what we needed. Very well located and the space fitted perfectly for our trip. We loved the amenities like shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. The neighborhood is peaceful and full of restaurants, cafes and groceries stores. Greg was a great host. Super kind! I highly recommend!

Michael was very welcoming and flexible in accommodating my somewhat quirky schedule. Check in and out were easy and the unit inviting , cozy and had everything one could need for a few nights or even a slightly longer stay. The area is beautiful and only a few blocks from the shops and restaurants of Lonsdale. Thank you, Michael and family, for making this stay so pleasant.

David was a great host! The location is perfect and close to so many great stores, restaurants, beaches, and the city! Couldn't recommend it more.

We stayed for an event in downtown Vancouver and it was super easy to get too and from downtown. Place was super nice for us and had a ton of accessible space

Beautiful location with views of the Lions Gate Bridge and Stanley Park. It was perfect for a family of 6 people. The home was spotless and cozy. The location is unbeatable—15 mins to Grouse Mountain Skyride, Stanley Park, etc. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of items for us to enjoy homemade breakfasts and takeout at home with the views. The home is on the older side, and perhaps why it has the awkward room layouts (master bedroom was small) and inconsistent air conditioning (some rooms warm up faster than others). We would definitely stay here again when back in Vancouver.

Great stay and perfect for 4. The quiet neighborhood was really peaceful. Beautiful townhouse and larger kitchen than expected. It's as pictured (and better!). Taryn was so helpful in advance with answering questions and making great suggestions. We ate at the recommended restaurants multiple times. Cant wait to return.

Wonderful suite on the lower level of a character house in East Van. Quick, kind communication.. clean thoughtful space, beautiful little patio zone.. super close to everything on Commercial Drive and just down the road from a fantastic park (open green space, community gardens, tennis courts with views of the mountains!) Mieke was kind to let me check out late as they didn’t have someone arriving today which made my travel much smoother. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. You can hear the family upstairs from time to time but even less than I expected. Bed seemed very new - firm but comfy - having laundry is always a bonus. Loved it all. Thanks!

Virpi is a helpful, responsive, and accommodating host. We appreciated that the unit is well stocked (lots of extra blankets, enough dishes, laundry detergent that we could use, etc). It's worth noting for us because we are a family of five and have stayed in too many places where this isn't the case! The unit was simple and clean and a great affordable option in the area.

Great stay! Tabitha is extremely communicative and has the best recommendations. The place had everything you need and was thoughtfully designed with the guests in mind. Froth milk and fresh baked banana bread made the stay above and beyond!

Just returned home from a 5 night visit to North Vancouver over the Easter weekend and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay. Colin and Christie were amazing hosts (responsive, helpful, friendly) and their 2 bed/1 bath suite exceeded our expectations. Unit was spotless, the kitchen was well equipped, beds were super comfy and the locale was perfect (short walk to the Village of Edgemont and 10 minute drive/Uber to the Shipyards). Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Large and beautiful home, literally. Our daughters ask to come back on 2 separate occasions. Jenny was a great host, accommodating and proactive. Quiet and calm neighbourhood, 2 min walk to the COMO LAKE, wow! Last but not least, you got to meet Milo the dog, what a smart human like dog. Thank you Jenny and see you again!!!

This location was amazing. My family and 3 kids stayed here and had a perfect time exploring the city. Michi was super responsive to any questions we had. Their home was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend as a good launching point to explore Vancouver.

Lesley and Adam were amazing hosts to interact with. They remained extremely responsive and had great recommendations! Highly recommend this unit to anyone going to Rogers Arena or BC Place, right next door!! Costco is nearby for stocking up and we had great walks to Gastown and local restaurants! Also, the listing mentions a washer and "drying rack", but they have installed a dryer in unit, which is great! I will be back here again next time i'm in BC!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend Darren’s Garden Suite to any of my family and friends. It’s located in a great neighbourhood with a nice vibe and close to parks, restaurants and shopping.
