House vacation rentals in Surf Beach

We had a crew of 16 people and this place fitted us all with ease. The 2 separate living quarters was perfect - the teens had their own pad while it gave the adults a quite space in the main home. Old worldly charm with classy styling that was so on point - nothing worse than going to a place that feels like someones left over furniture has filled the joint (well done boys, all the mummas have this a huge tick). Kitchen well equipped for large group cooking, beds super comfortable, landscaping immaculate, pool area perfect (even for a winter swim), and the stunning fireplace that made you want to laze around all day. Our original concern was that on the map the highway looks close, but inside we couldn't hear a thing... the property is a private sanctuary in which we'd stay again for sure.

The house was stunning, and the location and view were incredible. We felt well accommodated and loved making cocktails thanks to the cute cocktail bar! The bedding was so soft and comfortable—we will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Malta!

Karly’s place was immaculate—truly a dream home! Two living spaces made it super comfortable for 6 of us. Everything was so well thought out. We enjoyed every minute!

Tanja and Russel’s place is perfect for a family holiday! It had all the amenities you could think of, great view and location, and the pool was amazing on hot days. Tanja and Russel were amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and have great local recommendations.

Such a beautiful home to spend a weekend away relaxing and enjoying time with loved ones in. The house had everything you would need and more - right down to complementary coffee, condiments, dishwasher tablets and washing liquid for clothing. The house was perfect and the spa being at perfect temperature on arrival was a pleasant surprise. A wonderful location, quiet neighbourhood but minutes from the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

Paula and Peter has a really lovely house complete with all essentials. We even used the oven to bake a dessert. Short walk to mollymook beach and short drive into town. These made our weekend getaway extra special. Thank you for also accommodating our request for a more flexible check out. Overall great place to stay!

It’s a lovely spot with quiet surroundings that’s a short walk from two beaches (and Flo coffee trailer!) and very near the small string of Bawley shops with essentials. Nearby attractions like Pretty Beach are a short drive The home is very clean and well-stocked, with several covered outdoor sitting areas and the enclosed pool, which was in great condition. We had a lovely time!

This has been so far the best Air BnB I have stayed in. The house was beautiful and so comfortable to stay in and Nicola gave us a great detailed information message. The home had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen with all the appliances and utensils. There were 7 of us staying and the home was big enough to enjoy our own space when we needed it. The location was so perfect, we were in walking distance to shops, lawn bowls, a couple of restaurants, the beach and just a short drive away to Ulladulla and Milton. I would recommend this place to anyone and I look forward to hopefully staying there again. Thank you Nicola for the wonderful stay!!

We really enjoyed our weekend at Miriam's place. Very relaxing and comfortable. A good walk down nearby paths to shops and the beach. We look forward to a possible return visit at some stage.

Great spot, near the beach, lots of games etc. beautiful light filled home with lovely outdoor spaces. only one.toilet and in the same room as the shower, not.ideal for more than 2 people.

From the very first point of contact, months beforehand, through to checkout, Scott was wonderfully informative & remained available to take calls at any time. I really appreciated Scott going out of his way to provide detailed information on all aspects of the booking. The actual house was absolutely fantastic and was as described in the listing. The location was ideal, right across from supermarket and of course an amazing beach. Thank you Scott for accommodating our group. We will definitely book again in the future, no hesitation. Serene setting, being able to kayak in the lake with all family members is an unforgettable experience

The house was clean, inviting, modern and with magical bird song. We saw an echidna, rabbits and endless birdlife. The house is quiet for any light sleepers. The private beach is accessible for multiple properties but most of the time you are on your own. The kitchen is well appointed with great plates, cutlery and everything you need. We had all meals out each day with so many options in Bateman's Bay (our favourite was The Punt House and the Catalina Golf Club). One gentle but important suggestion: All beds are unstable, rickety and rock around with just one person sleeping and need updating with some more modern, secure mattresses and bases.

We had a lovely stay in Paul's home. The photos in the listing show how beautiful the views and beach are, but I wasn't prepared for how lovely his home is. It is modern, private and beautifully decorated. It is genuinely right on the beach - the path down to the beach is only a step or two from the back courtyard. I wasn't familiar with the area and had been worried about how far it would be to travel to stores for supplies, but I needn't have worried. Although Paul's home is very peaceful and feels secluded and remote, it is actually only a quick drive to Batehaven or Bateman's Bay for supplies and lovely restaurants. Paul has taken a lot of care to ensure you have everything you need, from the well-appointed kitchen and pamtry, to entertainment and toiletries. He has even provided things you didn't know you needed! Having dealt with disinterested estate agents before, I appreciated that Paul manages the property himself and is a pleasure to deal with.

Very happy with our stay. Everything as described and great communication with host. Perfect place for a group as beds could all separate into singles and walking distance to everything.

Our stay at this property was amazing! The house was very comfortable with 3 bedrooms and 2 living areas. I especially loved the fire place in one of the living areas. Fully fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. House is situated very near to a dog friendly beach. We loved our 30 minutes walk (6 minutes drive) to the central area of Batemans bay with all the cafes and shops. The bay area is beautiful and perfect for a run or walk. Prue's place is beautiful and relaxed and perfect for a weekend away. We felt at home immediately and had everything we could possibly need, including a hot outdoor shower!

A beautiful warm house in a peaceful bush setting

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were a family of 8 people and the house comfortably catered for all. The large outdoor deck with lounge chairs, hammock, fire pit and outdoor table, big dining table inside and spacious rooms made it a great entertaining house without everyone being on top of one another! The location was great too! Only a very short walk to Merry Beach and Pretty Beach!! My whole family commented on how wonderful Julie’s place was! We’ll be back!

Melissa's cottage was a great place for my friends and me to stay. It was quiet and peaceful. The home had everything we needed, from the stocked pantry and bathroom to the comfy blankets and pillows. All in all, Melissa was a great host, and we all had a great stay. We wish we could've stayed longer, but we hope to return. Highly recommend others to come to stay here and visit Shoal Haven, it truly was memorable.
