Vacation rentals in Sunne

We only had one night on the way to the ski holiday but it was perfect for three families and nice that the beds were made and everything was neat and clean

We stayed in this lovely house in the forest for a week and we thought we should next time book two weeks. It was everything we hoped for and our kids loved searching mushrooms in the surrounding forest. They also loved that there were lots of toys like Legos. We can definitely recommend this place, especially for families.

The apartment in Kees and Johanne's house looks exactly as the pictures promise. The hosts are reserved but very friendly and helpful. Johanne has designed a wonderful garden where the bees buzz, flowers and apple trees smell. The terrace is shared and there are other rentals. If you want to retreat, you can grab the table and chairs and walk, for example, into the back or front part of the garden. Östenas, where the house is located, is located about 50 km north of Karstadt and thus on the one hand offers a good nature experience on shorter hiking trails (up to 6 km) or long walks on country roads where hardly anyone meets you. If you want to swim, you can do so in the nearby lakes, about a 15-minute walk - I recommend swimming shoes, as the underground is very stone. A car is definitely recommended. If we vacation in Värmland again, it will definitely be with Kees and Johanne.

We were super duper satisfied with the stay so we give it the highest rating. Being in the area where the cottage is located was like coming to paradise. Everyone was very pleasantly surprised 😁

In the middle of the ski center! Very cozy and fresh. Access to service house with showers, toilets and kitchen.

A beautiful spot on earth - and down to the wooden trucks on the nearby federal highway, we have seen practically hardly any cars in 5 days. It's just secluded and private. We would recommend to shop for the start and then just enjoy. There is a perfectly equipped kitchen with all the spices and a ball grill. We swim in the lake every morning and also in the sauna, the crowning glory on the last evening. The only small challenge: there is only one bathtub and my almost 2m tall man had to shower while sitting so that not the entire bathroom is flooded. 😊 We were canoeing and in the moose park, also we hiked. We would definitely come back!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have stayed in Kristina’s house during our quiet family vacation in Sweden! The house and the garden are absolutely charming, filled with flowers and candles that create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is truly a family home, not only equipped with everything you need for a long stay, but also furnished and decorated with such care and love that you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The surrounding woods and lakes are perfect for hiking, foraging, meditation, and relaxation. Kristina and her son Alexander were wonderful hosts, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We immediately felt comfortable in Simon's house. The house is new and modernly equipped. In addition, everything was very clean. Simon also provided us with bed linens and towels on request. It is a beautiful house in a new development area about 10 minutes' drive to Karlstad city center. The surroundings are very quiet and communication with Simon worked out very well.
