Lake houses in Sun Moon Lake

I can totally feel that it is a homestay that has been rearranged from an old house. There is a room on each half floor. It is clean and tidy. Remember to close the door to prevent the cats from entering the room. The water pressure is stable, and it feels like taking a bath at my grandma's house. Cats walk around, but they basically ignore people. Remember to tidy up the food before sleeping to avoid cats getting sick from eating the wrong food. The downside is that the bed for sleeping is slightly old, and a few beds are obviously sunken before lying down.The rest is really good value for money. There is a game room, for friends with many children, adults can play mahjong, play video games, and watch TV in the living room, and children can play in the game room. There is a Zhongxiao Night Market nearby, mainly for late-night snacks.There's McDonald's, breakfast is convenient. Luggage storage is possible after check-out time. In addition to parking lots, there are many free parking spaces on the street, just around the corner.

We had a great stay here! Room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Kid/baby friendly too as she provided us both a bassinet and bed rails, as well as infant bath tub. Very nice local breakfast, and excellent tea and coffee. They brought out a baby chair and toys to entertain my baby at breakfast too. The location is a bit far from xitou by foot, but still hikeable, really close by car. Nice local restaurant within 5 min walk for dinner.

Fantastic Stay at Deer Traveler Hostel! I had a wonderful stay at Deer Traveler Hostel in Sun Moon Lake! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the lake, bus stop, and many local attractions. The hostel is modern, stylish, and impeccably clean, with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always offering great recommendations on places to visit and things to do. The common areas are well-designed, making it easy to relax and meet fellow travelers. The beds are comfortable, with privacy curtains and individual lights, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Everything about this hostel exceeded my expectations. If you’re visiting Sun Moon Lake, Deer Traveler Hostel is the perfect place to stay. Highly recommended!

Location is good, easily assessible from Tai Chung railway station, and to other popular attractions.Good location, very good communication with the host, and the house owner who had limited English but was very successful in telling us the house rules using gestures and sounds!! Lovely little place! Room is nice and pleasant, as advertised. Will definitely recommend.

Fell in love with this town. Wish we stayed longer. Our host is friendly, kind and helpful. If you love Ghibli, you will love this place. Totoro everywhere even in the room we stayed. Water pressure was powerful. Near the pier and the bus stand from Taichung. Our host even provides discounted ferry tickets and bicycle coupons. Will be back again to explore this place.

Convenient capsule hotel here in Yidashao especially for backpackers. Amenities & facilities is great. The receptionist also friendly although English isn’t their first language, they try to communicate using translator which is cool. I enjoyed staying here with a lot of fun things you can do. Tq

The estate is not difficult to go to, it is very convenient right by the high-speed, and the parking lot is not more than two minutes away from the estate.Water view plus already turned red rain pine, can only say one nice!Even though it was a rainy weather, it didn't affect the view in the slightest, but it was a bit more romantic that was hard to say. Inside, you'll see the middle pool reflecting the towering pine, creating a tranquil and tranquil atmosphere.The leaves of the pine pine change with the season and the ground covered with a layer of red-brown fallen leaves, coupled with a stone brick road, adds poetry to the whole environment. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city and lots of strawberries nearby, it's a great place to relax and a very convenient transit station. Overall experience was very satisfactory and deserving of five stars.The B&B room is cozy and fully equipped, the bed is comfortable, very clean, much better than the photos.Also, the owner's maiden was hospitable, gave me a lot of local travel tips, and a sweetheart prepared a lot of things out of the way for me.And it's pet friendly!And big dogs welcome! Thumbs up!

Dreamy Nomads was awesome! Super friendly host, great view of the sunrise and right next to bike rentals to ride around Sun Moon Lake!

This private house is like going back to the house, the homestay boss girl with us singing with us, my eldest son watching us roast meat, take homemade shallot salt sauce to us, and grilled grapefruit to give us greasy, the grill area is super professional, there is a large oven & grilled shrimp, and there is no cleaning fee, check out day because some people are going to swim to the sun moon lake, the big son also let other fellow friends wait in the living room, blow cool, no charge, really big push such a person's feeling, such a kind homestay! Cool air, can sing, professional grill area, house environment is clean, dogs are also cute, tasty explosion🫶🏻

The room is new and beautiful, the host was very nice and let us check in early, it was close to the audit Shinchon.

Scenic room type is great

Accommodation: Just like a city apartment. Kitchen/pantry was useable. Location: To far from city area. Always an min. An hr drive away for anything. Do note, it’s all new developments. There is a street full of eateries 10-15mins drive away.

Except for the hot water not being able to take a bath at the same time, which is a little troublesome, everything else is fine.😊

The new house is clean and all the furniture and appliances are also brand new and there are also indoor elevators, no need to carry luggage stairs. The host is very responsive and highly recommended.
