The boss and his wife are very kind, the environment is quiet, people who are afraid of noise can consider staying.And there is a small vegetable garden to enjoy ~ the price is low, the bathroom and toilet are not in the same room, it is not too far from the city without having to rush🤣 into the city, I will visit again if I have a chance ~ ~

Great spot to stay and check out Shuishe. Located about 5-8min walk from bus station, and 2min walk from the ferry/pier, Laurel Villa is nestled in the ,perfect spot. There is daily room cleaning & an elevator too. This is likely one of the most tastefully designed homestay,l with a wow factor. I especially love the morning bike tour that Wayne conducts himself. You get to the best tranquil spots, perfect for photography and to observe the beautiful sunrise. And I am fed so well with an extremely healthy delicious Taiwanese brekkie cooked by Wayne’s amazing wife, JY. I picked the larger family room which also comes with a very nice bath rub, perfect for soaking your tied feet. Beautiful place, great stay and a beautiful couple who give 5-star service. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Nisa’s place. The place was walking distance to the pier and a well stocked 7-11. Nisa was very helpful and friendly and guided us on what we should do during our short stay at Sun Moon Lake. The breakfast she prepared was delicious and wonderful. We especially liked the flowers in the yogurt cup.

The location is convenient, very close to the public paid parking lot, the room is also clean, and it won't be noisy like what you said online.

Sun Moon Lake house; 2min pier,5mins bus station

The host, Hsin-Pei, explained the check-in method and the location of the house in an easy-to-understand way. There were recommendations for interesting restaurants. The house is very close to the pier. There is parking in front of the house for a car. The house is private even though it is only 5 minutes from the pier full of tourists. Both bedrooms are spacious and decorated in a minimalist style. There are board games, snacks, juice, tea and coffee for free.

The room was incredibly spacious and you immediately feel at home in the bed and breakfast. They are very strict about noise which is great so everyone can rest and the cats are very relaxed too. They made a vegetarian breakfast for me both days which was healthy, fresh, and delicious. The place is walking distance to many things as well.

Beautiful views from our room. Delicious breakfasts. Friendly staff. We extended our stay for the second night, but in a different room (though more expensive with lesser view). All in all a great stay. The only thing I would suggest/wished we could have moved rooms a bit quicker with a priority given to cleaning than later when we had to switch rooms.

Read the description you get what you pay for and way more with the vibe of the space. They have the most proactive, accommodating and knowledgeable host. We felt genuinely stoked with the quality of our stay here. He saved us multiple times when we were having difficulty with local bus schedules He recommended a lot of authentic local spots. I even found my favorite fruit thanks to Way. The local vibes were immaculate. We had fun chatting with him

Personally felt it's a little expensive, but I believe that with the limited choices, it probably made sense economically. The location is also immediately at where the bus from the city stops. The room looked amazing and it had a nice balcony as well. Not sure if it's just the whole area as it's surrounded by the lake, but there were really a lot of mosquitoes. We closed the windows at night, and killed some in the room before we slept, but there were still more such that I woke up in the middle of the night and had problems getting back to sleep after. This is unlikely the fault of the host though. Overall still a nice place to stay if you are planning to stay at the sun moon lake.

Eric’s place was very quiet and away from the crowded place near Sun Moon Lake but not too far away. Very good and peaceful mountainous surrounding. Eric’s family was very nice and greeted us. Eric was always responsive and accommodative

Nisa’s place was amazing. Super cute and the room was big and had everything we needed. She was super sweet and made sure we had hot water for tea. The location was right by the bus station, bike paths, and yummy food.

Wayne was Super friendly as well as the other staff there! He brought us on a sunrise bike tour and although we faced some unfortunate weather my girl friend and I had so much fun :) btw place is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, way better than expected!!!!

The best place anyone can ask for on a vacation!!! From the friendliest couple owners, their cats and dogs and the wonderful cafe, I don't think it gets better than that. They were also so quick to respond and help when I had questions, and went out of their way to make sure that I felt at home. Glad I choose this over the other locations during the lake. If you're hesitating, don't - just book this place and experience it for yourself.

The place is so nice and looks just like the pictures! Everything is very clean and we enjoyed the luxurious interior design. And we are lucky to bump into a day where the host leads a bike tour to enjoy sunrise in Sun Moon Lake. We learnt a lot about the history background and trivia about the area, and there is even a friendly dog who follows our tour! Thank you for the enjoyable experience :o)
