Guesthouse vacation rentals in Sumida River

Enjoyed our stay here, even if it was only one night. Kazushi san is friendly and helpful. Near several train stations which was helpful also. Lots of food options on the street even though we didn’t get to try this time - hopefully next time!

We had the best stay at Aeyoung’s place! I couldn't fault it one bit. Her home was one of the cleanest and most spacious places we stayed during our trip. There was so much room to just relax and settle in. The bed was super comfy too (and I loveeee my sleep) which made it really easy to get a good night’s sleep after a long day out exploring. The area was so peaceful and calm and Aeyoung made the trash system easy to understand and the trash system was labelled which made a lot of sense as it was something I was worried about! Aeyoung herself was amazing. She was incredibly kind and welcoming and picked us up from the station when we arrived and dropped us off when we left. She was so hospitable and made everything so smooth and stress-free. Thank you again, Aeyoung, for having us and we can't wait to come back! I regret not booking more days at the airbnb as the second airbnb I went to in Shinjuku was not nearly as big, clean and quiet!

It was a great news lace to stay while visiting! Definitely recommend!

Good place quick attention and excellent quiet place if you want to spend a few days in Tokyo 100% recommended

We rented both of Yuko's apartments (separated by an external staircase) for 7 people (3 generations). The ground floor is very warm and is particularly charming with a garden (view only), heated floors and of course reverse cycle air con, futon beds and a single western bed, a washer dryer and a newer tv (for hooking up our nintendo switch to). Upstairs is also well equipped (no dryer or heated floors) with bunk beds and single beds, slightly less warm in the bunk beds area which honestly the teens liked. Both bathrooms have great hot water pressure. Yuko clearly thought of everything and the place was so neat and lovely. She is so helpful to communicate with. The suburb is peaceful and easy to get to using the pink "E" subway. Great connectivity to other areas of Tokyo, just hop on that "E" subway then a connecting train and you're anywhere you want to be. Multiple supermarkets nearby, and FamilyMart (most staff speak English). We will stay again when we visit Japan in the future!

I stayed for 4 nights & really enjoyed the fact that it is a very local & quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle & bustle of tokyo! Emiko & team provided a lot of information for self-checkin so it was easy to follow and I arrived at the Airbnb without much problems. The place is really clean as well and personally, I slept really well in the bed (felt like sleeping on a cloud to me) or maybe because I was very tired from all my travels before coming to this airbnb. Overall, I’ve enjoyed my short stay (would’ve loved to stay longer)!

Perfect space for one person. The vicinity to Shinjuku station, Kabukicho, restaurants and shops were a huge plus. Everything I wanted was within 5-15 minutes away by walking. Kasha was very quick to respond and they allowed me to check in two hours early because I’d arrived in Tokyo earlier than expected. Everything that I needed was available for me to to use as well which was extremely helpful (iron, laundry detergent, laundry basket, deodorizer) and the laundry machines were free to use so I saved some money by not going to a coin laundry. The only negative I can think of is how loud the neighbours were. Obviously this is out of the host’s control and it’s expected when you’re staying at a hotel that some other guests can sometimes be loud or annoying but it seemed like whoever was staying in the unit next to me would be speaking very loudly to someone else on speaker phone and I could hear them through the walls. Luckily they didn’t do this late at night so I slept fine.

Kenichi is a wonderful host, and a very accommodating one. We also had a chance to meet and eat together (and getting recommendations where to visit and eat) The place is neat and clean, and it’s very close to multiple metro stops, as well as big stores.

I had a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the accommodation had everything you could possibly need. The location is also perfect for exploring Tokyo, very convenient and well connected. But what really made this place special was the Ken and his lovely family. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and quick to respond to any questions. One evening, they even invited all the guests to share a homemade dinner together, which was such a generous and heartwarming gesture. I truly appreciated being their guest and felt so at home. If I ever return to Tokyo, I would absolutely love to stay here again. Thank you for everything.
