Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sumida City

The landlord is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean, and it has many facilities such as microwave oven, refrigerator, water heater, etc. You need to be careful of cars when walking home at night.

We loved staying at Japanese Tokyo Garden! Everything was as described, the room is spacious with two beds, a refrigerator and a microwave (the full kitchen is just outside the room) and has lots of space. It has shared common spaces like bathroom and kitchen but it honestly felt like you have the whole place for yourself ! Family Mart is just a few meters away and there are great Ramen and Indian food restaurants near by! There is also a bus station next to Family Mart that connects you to all Tokyo by train and is easy to use, so we had no problem getting around! The host is very responsive, keeps things neat and clean at all times and makes sure all your needs are met. Lovely stay at a great price, would definitely recommend! 🌸🤗

As far as hostels go, Sawa’s is great! About 10-15 min walk from multiple trains. Cute little rooftop to chill on nice nights. The shower is clean and great hot water and pressure. If bunk beds and sharing a room with others doesn’t bother you, absolutely stay here! It was well worth the money and I love Taito city. Thank you Sawa!

Kako and Keiko’s family has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The district is a couple station away from shibuya center while being exceptionally calm day and night. If you’re looking for a more personal experience than a hotel, I would highly recommend you consider this location. Thanks again for this memorable week.

Lovely house, very clean, big bed which was a plus! We loved staying here, the location is great, 20 min walk to the main Ikebukuro station, and about a 10 min walk to one of the smaller stations that connects to the larger lines. Ikebukuro is a very fun area thats not as touristy, well worth a night exploration. Also found it super easy to reach Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, Asakusa areas (alot of the touristy stuff youd want to go to) Asama is such an amazing host, very responsive and attentive. She welcomed us with green tea and citrus fruits at check in, and also sent us off with a beautiful home cooked breakfast of onigiri and miso soup at check out. You can tell she absolutely loves hosting, she is incredibly helpful as well and gave us many recommendations for restaurants or onsens in the area. Shes incredibly understanding, and makes your stay in Tokyo the best it can be. She even has some bikes on premise that you can borrow! We were very happy we booked, we would stay here again!!

Limo was such a great host! She was offered to show me around the area and even made us breakfast after my first night there. I would recommend Kumi’s Airbnb to anyone interested in staying in Tokyo.

I stayed for a full week in this house, and really had nothing to report. It's run by a really nice couple, everything is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. There is a lot of traffic in front of the house but the windows are soundproofed. I really recommend this place.

Very easy to get to Tokyo Disneyland on the bus!

There are restaurants run by Koreans nearby, and there are various ramen restaurants and Baeken shops, so it was easy to buy and eat anything you want to eat, and transportation was good!

An ideal place to stay! Located down a nice quiet street only a few minutes walk away from the train station and 1 stop away from Shinjuku station. The room was spacious enough for 2 backpackers and all our bags :) The bathroom is only big enough for 1 person at a time but no complaints at all! Definitely stay here if you’re visiting Tokyo!!

Perfect for Disney, because I had the impulse to come to Disney for a second time, but I had to say that Google's map was really bad for people, although the host had informed me that the address was not right, but I really navigated to find out that the other three people, I don't know why the bed the host gave us was 1.2.

I had a wonderful time staying at Asama-san's place! Enough space for a solo traveler, very comfy bed and everything was super clean, but at the same time also very welcoming and home-like feeling! I also had the pleasure to take part in a day-trip with another guest and the hosts and that was one of the best experiences I had in a long time! The location is also good, quiet and not too far from either train station (at least for my German legs 😄). I highly recommend staying at this place, especially when you want the feeling of a second home and not only a place "just to stay".

This is our second time staying at one of Machiko's places and there's a reason we came back! The location is perfect if you plan on visiting tokyo disney and the decor of the home itself is on theme. The place is very clean, quiet and cozy! We would and will definitely stay here again when we're back in the area.

It has been such a pleasant time living in this house with such lovely hosts. They have provided us with warmth and kindness and offered us the welcome drinks as well as breakfast in the morning. Would recommend it to everyone!!!! Also they speak fluent English so no need to worry about the communication at all.

Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Ayumi and her family, Toshi and Mizuki! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to help us, even assisting us in retrieving items from Narita Airport that we stupidly forgot. Their kindness and hospitality truly made us feel at home. Their house is simply perfect—immaculately clean beyond words, with a spacious bedroom, a fantastic bathroom, and plenty of space for luggage. The toilet is conveniently located near the bedroom, and there are no restrictions on bathroom usage, which was a huge plus. The entire place smells amazing, and the big balcony adds an extra touch of comfort. The food was delicious and plentiful. Even small details, like the comfortable slippers, made a difference. Their English, especially Toshi, is excellent, making communication easy and pleasant. The child, Mizuki, is always smiling and full of joy. Their neighborhood guide is also great. We will definitely return to this warm family.🌻
