Absolutely magical stay! Sarah’s Airbnb exceeded all expectations. The private lake was serene and perfect for morning coffees and evening strolls, and the hot tub under the stars was the ultimate way to unwind. The scenery is absolutely stunning—pictures don’t do it justice. And we can’t forget Wilson the cat, who made us feel truly at home with his cheeky little visits (and his “presents”)! Every detail was thoughtful, and Sarah was a fantastic host. We’ll definitely be back!

Booked this place for my retirement celebration with friends. Fabulous location , amenities, and great house. We were lucky with the weather and we sat out on the terrace , used the heater and barbecue which was a nice touch. Everybody had a fab time and Darren let us have a late check out which was very helpful. Very responsive and helpful host. Would recommend this place

Very generous host even left some bottled water and tea coffee bread etc for us which was so appreciated 🙏🙏 Lovely , big , comfy clean beds, bedding and towels. Great kitchen and dinning area cooked a lovely meal. We really enjoyed our stay thank you once again 🙏🙏

stayed here to celebrate my husband's 50th for 2 nights with our kids and grandson., the house was massive and really gorgeous. There was everything there we could think of and more. The game room was a fantastic addition and part of the reason I chose this place. We dropped on great weather for early April so made use of the outdoor kitchen and used the hot tub one evening too. There was even a gym. All the rooms were gorgeous. 2 of the boys had to sleep together lol as I hadn't realised there were no twin beds. No big deal as we're family lol. Loads of bathrooms, great if you're travelling with males 😏 would definitely recommend Nick's home to anyone. I suffer terrible with pet allergies and you'd never know there had been any there, I had no issues at all. Thank you for a great stay x

We really loved Georgie’s place. It was such a lovely base for our short time over, made us feel right at home and the canal in the garden is awesome! I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Manchester. And I will certainly be back again when I decide to come back for longer!

Felt like a home away from home. Beautiful house in a lovely suburb of Manchester. Lisa was fantastic as a host, always responsive and great for local recommendations. Welcome basket was a really lovely touch.

Truly a home from home. Nathan has thought of everything - we really didn’t want for anything. He was super helpful dropping a travel cot off for us on the first night. If you’re on the fence don’t hesitate, book it! Should we ever need oaklands again I would book it in a heartbeat. Perfect for families with open space and garden. Not to mention the toys that my three little boys were super excited to explore. Thanks again 😊

Mary was a great host- very responsive. The Maples 3 was perfect for our stay as a base to explore the local area. It was very clean with all the basics needed in a peaceful location.

We loved our stay at Watersedge Lodge, which has superb views of the valley and the nearby canal. There is a range of seating outdoors - perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The appartment was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with good utensils/pans for home cooking, and we were grateful of a fridge and a freezer. What made our visit extra special was the hosts. They were quick to respond to messages and very understanding and accommodating of our needs. They are kind, considerate and supportive. We highly recommend Watersedge Lodge. It’s a perfect bolt hole for those needing a quiet retreat, or if you want to explore walks and bike rides on the nearby canal, or farther afield in the Yorkshire Dales. There are also lots of cultural and historical adventures to be had nearby in Leeds, Bradford, Saltaire, Keighley, Haworth and Skipton. Finally, as mentioned by all the guests…. The Yorkshire Tea loaf is a winner! ❤️

Property was as advertised. Good off-street parking, large garden (perfect for playing with our dog) and the house was clean and had most things we needed. The property is also in a good spot close to shops and restaurants.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The cottage is charming and cozy—perfect for a weekend escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The location is stunning, and we especially loved relaxing in the impressive hot tub while taking in the breathtaking views. Really comfy beds, and lovely inside fire. The outside cooking areas is amazing. Steve put a fire on for us for our return from a wet day at Alton towers which was a lovely touch. Great stay in a beautiful location.

We had a brilliant one night stay. We loved it. Took our boys and dog and everyone had a great time. It’s a stunning location and is a really great outdoor space, including the outdoor kitchen, BBQ and fire pit. Really well equipped. The hosts’ communication was spot. Shame it was only one night, still worth it though.

We had a lovely stay at the Lodge. Communication was really easy for the duration of our stay. When we arrived it was really clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We travelled with our two young children who loved the whole concept and found it very cosy. Super convenient for the zoo but in a quiet area. There was a really easy bus for town as well. Accurately described and perfect for what we needed.

What an amazing place!! 😍 We stayed here for a long weekend and didn’t feel the need to leave as it was so beautiful and peaceful. 🌳🍃The decoration inside was so unique and cosy, and the outside space was huge and so pretty!! Would 100% recommend, thank you ❤️

We had an amazing time at Jocelyn’s cabin! She was so responsive before booking, letting us know about the roads to the cabin and the outdoor camping shower. The cabin itself was amazing, no frills and exactly what we wanted for a weekend hiking in the Peaks. The surroundings are gorgeous and we sat out by the fire just enjoying the quiet. The shower was a fun adventure we both enjoyed and being able to wrap up by the wood burner after was 10/10. She also recommended us a local pub for dinner and WOW it was amazing! Book in as it gets busy but a stellar recommendation. In general Jocelyn was a great host at a great cabin and we will definitely be coming back!

When we turned up we were greeted and taken to the cabin to check in. Rias father was very helpful and made us feel very welcome, everything was explained to us and anything we should need we just had to ask. We absolutely loved our stay, it was such a cosy cabin and very much needed for some time away, it was in a lovely peaceful area and just a short drive away to the local shops and restaurants 😀 We will certainly book to stay here again. Hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had. Rod and Victoria have done an amazing job with the cabin and it just ticked all the boxes. You couldn’t ask for a better location sat between the water and the lovely horses behind us. How nice it was to be sat round the fire pit watching the boats go by tucking into some sausages from the BBQ. The little touches really made the place feel like home. The fresh bread and butter. The outstanding marmalade to accompany a nice cup of tea with some milk 😊 and the hot chocolate, biscuits and marshmallows sure did go down a treat with the kids! They provided all the fire wood we needed for the night so we could get the wood burner going which made the cabin feel lovely and toasty. They also gave you some feed for the animals which was such an experience for the kids and they loved it. Super friendly hosts with great communication. Easy and accurate directions to follow. Absolutely amazing stay could not recommend enough! Hosts were fantastic and very friendly. The perfect place to relax and unwind. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and the river which is just a short walk away from where you're staying is 100% worth the visit. Youll not be disappointed. We will most definitely be coming back!
