Vacation rentals with lake access in Stresa

We had a very nice holiday at Maria's place. The property was big and very clean. We have and felt very comfortable. Maria is a great and helpful host. The accommodation is well located and you can do it in the area (e.g. swimming, boating, gondola riding, visiting a market, looking at cities, cycling)

Emma and Thomas are exceptionally nice hosts. The apartment, spread over three levels, was very well equipped and clean. It is located in the building part next to the landlords and can be reached via a small courtyard. Due to the location on the outskirts of the village, it is quiet and yet you have everything within walking distance. The public parking lot is only 100m away. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We had a very very nice stay . The little cottage is located in the middle of Pallanza, in an absolutely quiet location, near the port. This is easily accessible on foot, as are the small shops and great restaurants. The private garage greatly facilitates the stay. And you have the bus stops 3 minutes from the apartment. We slept very well in bed, the apartment was very clean and cozy. But you should not use the oven and kettle at the same time, otherwise there will be a short circuit. Alessandro was immediately available and shortly after we had electricity again. We thought it was good that waste separation is important and the appropriate containers are available. Alessandro is a very good host. We can only recommend the apartment.

Staying at Paola's place was just what my mom and I needed for a lakeside getaway. Paola accepted my request immediately despite few days notice, and although she was away on her business trip, her collaborator helped us check-in while staying in close touch with me for the whole process. The place is as described with a lake-front view of Lago Maggiore from the living room and the bedroom, and the side view of the beautiful garden. It was located on a gated hillside community so it felt safe, secure, and secluded. The apartment was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay from laundry detergent to balsamic vinegar and a bottled water in the fridge. The great care and warm hospitality of Paola shined through on every corner from the choice of well-appointed furnitures to flower patterned toilet rolls. It was so wonderful staying in on one rainy day as we felt right at home reading and sipping tea as we watched the rain fall on the lake. We can't wait to return!

When you’re on a short break, it’s all about location. The location is perfect, right in the centre of the old town. The apartment is perfect for two people, clean, comfortable bed and good shower. Perfect for a short stay.

Anna is a very friendly host who welcomed us very warmly! Her apartment is very large, functional, clean, and with all the necessities. The views are beautiful. We were able to do everything on foot from the listing. Great stay!

Enchanting apartment with great large terrace overlooking the great Lago d‘Orta. Quiet residential area with parking nearby, the swimming spot was within walking distance, the water quality and water temperature were very pleasant. The contact with Gabriella was very warm, all questions were answered immediately. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get to know each other in person. Since we are iced with a dog, a dog-friendly vacation spot was very important to us. We were always welcomed with a dog in a very friendly manner. There are numerous excursion options around the lake. The Valstrona with many hiking trails, quaint refreshments or across the street up onto the Mottarone and enjoy the great view all around. We definitely felt very comfortable on Lago d’Orta, as we prefer quiet places without mass tourism. A big thank you also to Silvia and Giulio, who led us into the apartment and were also available to help us.

We spent beautiful days there at the end of October. We were very satisfied and can only recommend it. Thank you for the good service, we will be happy to come back!

We returned to Filippo for the second time, always working around having a comfortable accommodation as the proposed apartment is very important as it makes you feel at home. Complete with every accessory and comfortable, you can't ask for better Filippo has always made himself available with accurate feedback every time we contacted him In addition, the appointment is located right in the center of Intra on the lake and allows you to enjoy the evening exit in the clubs nearby Highly recommended

Fantastic apartment in a beautiful location. We enjoyed every day and did a lot. Since it was low season, some restaurants in the area (including the 50m from the property) had closed. Through some research, we were able to find a few (Alberho Paradiso, Pizzeria Concordia). The accommodation itself had everything to offer, communication with the host impeccable.

Papa Carlo and son Matteo are warm-hearted hosts who gave me a friendly welcome and were able to give good tips. Communication went smoothly as well. The apartment is large, beautiful and corresponds 100% to the photos. The highlight is the huge balcony with panoramic views over the Lake. I had a great stay and highly recommend a booking!

Giuseppe and Maria's apartment has been very nicely renovated on the ground floor of their house. It is spacious, pleasant and well-equipped. The place is perfect for visits to San Catarina and the Borromean Islands thanks to the nearby ferry. We thank Giuseppe and Maria for their very friendly and attentive welcome, and their useful tips for organizing our visits. We highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant stay and highly recommend this flat! Judith was so lively and helpful our entire week. We visited all the towns around the lake and spent two full days in Milan. So easy to access from MXP and easy connections everywhere!

The welcome was very friendly and personal - and we will probably remember it forever ;) The apartment was furnished with a lot of love and attention to detail - nothing was really missing! The guest always responded quickly to messages and was able to give good advice nearby. It must also be said that the immediate surrounding neighborhood is not very attractive - but if you are looking for an apartment to feel comfortable and to explore the surroundings from there, you will feel very comfortable here.

We were a group of 9 people and we had a lovely stay at this house by Lake Maggiore. The location is absolutely beautiful, with great views. The path to get there will have given us some chills but the garden is a real haven of peace, perfect for enjoying the calm and surrounding nature. Self check-in and self check-out will have given us a lot of flexibility, Stefano's instructions and his responsiveness were perfect. A big thank you for the warm welcome and all the small details in making our stay such a pleasant one.

Amazing location - Friendly owners - Gorgeous little Heaven for the family

We are certainly not the first to mean it but the view of the terrace is truly breathtaking. The danger might be to sell off your vacation to stay in the hammock! Nadia is extremely nice and speaks impeccable French. Breakfast is very nice and meets the desires of each guest. We recommend this listing and thank Nadia again for her hospitality.

We just finished almost a month stay. Richard was incredibly responsive and patient, answering every question. The cottage is small but perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable. Unlike others we did not find the road noise problematic and slept with the windows open easily. Quaint and rustic is what we wanted but never sacrificing comfort and this is exactly what we got. We would definitely return. We loved our time!

There is no better place in Northern Italy to spend your holidays at! Lago d'Orta is not as touristic as Lago Maggiore or Lago di Como - a hidden gem! Villa Volpe is a place you will never forget!! 🤩
