Fantastic little cottage and fantastic hosts! Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Vanessa's place! The property was absolutely lovely, exactly as described, and beautifully appointed. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked, which made preparing meals so easy. Vanessa was an amazing host—super friendly, communicative, and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. She really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I’m already looking forward to a return visit!

The stay was just as described in the listing and met our expectations. The surrounding area was beautiful and added to the overall experience. One improvement I would suggest is adding a privacy curtain or screen for the hot tub, as it is visible from the road, which might make some guests feel uncomfortable. Aside from this, everything else was great. The host was incredibly responsive and ensured our questions and concerns were addressed promptly. We appreciated their attentiveness. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we’d recommend this place with that minor suggestion in mind.

This place was a perfect getaway. One of four houses on the property, fully stocked kitchen, easy to use private hot tub, and gorgeous views. Walk right to town no problem! Would visit again!

Anna’s home was lovely. It was warm and inviting, and beautifully decorated. Everything is provided. There is a full kitchen, there is a full working dishwasher, all of the heaters warmed the house perfectly. The hot tub was splendid.

This is a great place - big, nicely furnished, clean, and an easy drive into town. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot! Very secluded and feels like you are living in the trees! The cabin is spotless and very comfortable, offering a pool table and jacuzzi which was on a very private deck. The hosts are very creative and it was decorated for the holiday season but very tasteful. The neighborhood is private and about 3 miles from town, though there is a market at the end of the street you can go to if you need some supplies. For a quiet weekend getaway you can’t beat this place!

The cabin is beautiful, tasteful, unique. Lots of wood, lighting and great ambiance. Two bed/bath was perfect for us! Such a great place to hang out and enjoy the surroundings.

We had a wonderful stay at Josh and Timmi's place. It was very quiet and felt very private. The views were incredible. We enjoyed the hot tub and the deck. We had everything we needed for our short stay. Great hikes and town less than 10 minutes drive away. Would recommend and return. Thank you!

Lovely spot to stay in Idyllwild. Super close to town but far enough removed that the area is very quiet. Very clean and cozy space.

The cabin was such a wonderful way to spend the weekend. Very private, very clean, and very comfortable. It definitely matched the mood of our trip; a quick, yet overly relaxing getaway in a cabin for two. The amenities in the kitchen were perfect for small home cooked meals, as well as the ac/heater unit was a wonderful luxury to have. The views outside were just as stunning. Thank you, Gary! We'll definitely come back again in the future.

From his clear messaging to his warm welcome and personal tour of the cabin when we arrived, Jay was the most hospitable host. Peaceful pines was a gem for us and our pups. It had everything we needed, there are thoughtful details all around the cabin. We loved the wood burning stove, it kept us warm and cozy. And the pups loved the enclosed yard along with all of Jay’s dog-friendly recommendations. We hope to come again.

Lisa and Ryan were great hosts! Very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. I expected a few miles of rutted dirt road, but that was not the case. It was actually easy to get to & Lisa & Ryan provided great directions. In my opinion, this listing was a great value for the price!

My girlfriend and I took our two dogs to Idyllwild for the weekend. This cabin was amazing for us! Spacious backyard for the pups to run around in. The cabin was cozy and we were very close to town. I highly recommend this if looking for a cozy getaway.

Sweet little cabin in a beautiful setting, only a short walk to Strawberry Creek. It was fun to play records on the old-school turntable and we didn't miss having a TV at all. The cabin was warm and toasty for our December getaway. Michael also left us some freshly laid eggs, plus butter and salt.

We had a wonderful stay here. The space is very well designed and makes for a cozy stay. The kitchen is well suited for staying in and cooking, and the patio is well suited for relaxing outside. We would definitely love to come back :)

The scenery was breathtaking… from every window, the mountains were in sight. This dark colored A frame cabin with warm , adjustable lights throughout , created the “cozy, mountain, relaxation esthetic” that we were looking for . Our family found this place relaxing in every aspect…. Wood fire place , hot tub, balcony from the loft, and a large spacious deck. We enjoyed several victories and losses in countless board/card games .

Our family took our first trip to Idyllwild and I have to say that the Idyllwild Treehouse really spoiled us for future visits. Linda and Kristee's place was well decorated, clean, and provided many helpful amenities. In fact, I didn't realize it when we booked the Treehouse, but it shared several design features of our own home. Because of this we felt immediately comfortable on the property. We love to cook so we made most breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen. We really liked the oven on the island with the vent and lighting above. In the evening after dinner we would light a fire in the wood burning stove and sit around the table and play games. We brought several of our own but ended up playing Linda and Kristee's Scrabble two nights in a row. The bedrooms downstairs were very comfortable; each equipped with clean linens, fluffy comforters, extra blankets, & wall heaters. We were warm and happy on the cold nights and our kids appreciated having their own rooms. Would return!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at this cabin. The location is awesome, nestled in the hills with great views of nature, truly a perfect place to get some peace and quiet. The view from the bedroom is absolutely breathtaking. Despite how remote the cabin feels, the location is also super accessible. It's only about a 6 minute drive to the town center of Idyllwild where you'll find tons of shops and eateries. Truly the best of both worlds depending on your mood, not to mention lots of fantastic hiking trails nearby. Geoff was a great host and was very responsive and prompt with check-in instructions and any other details we needed to know. The only thing that would have made our trip better was if it snowed, which of course is nobody's fault. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would not hesitate to book this cabin again the next time we visit Idyllwild (hopefully with snow this time!).

Our stay at the cabin was perfect, it's very peaceful and feels cozy even though it's a nicely sized bigger space. The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to cook all of our meals, and at just a few minutes drive into town, run errands easily. Ilia was very responsive and so nice. Great stay !
