Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Stratton

We will definitely stay again. We frequently come to Brattleboro and, in fact, wish we had come across this property a couple years ago. Our only issue was the 2nd floor bathroom, since we had our elderly Mother with us and she need great assistance going up/down the staircase.

We had a great experience with Erin and our stay! Erin was incredibly friendly and welcoming. She made sure to respond promptly to all our questions and requests, which really made us feel at home. We relaxed and unplugged at this comfy, rustic cabin. Private and secluded but still close to town and restaurants. The fireplace was a delight. We also made use of the well-equipped kitchen. Slept well in the beds and chilled on the couch, watching Netflix in both areas. Great jumping off place for our Vermont excursions.

Such a cool house. We loved the charm of the older section of the house. So many private spaces to cozy up and read a book. Then there is the more modern portion of the house. It was perfect for the folks to watch tv and enjoy the VT scenery out of the large windows. The road is quiet and the area is lovely. We easily drove into Manchester for groceries and dinner. Really loved it!!

Christine went above and beyond in welcoming us to her place. The fridge was stocked and she gifted us with homemade treats at the beginning and in the middle of our stay. Her place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed adventuring on the walking paths behind the house and her guestbook offered wonderful tips for Brattleboro and the surrounding area. We had a wonderful time!

The space was fantastic for our two little families with easy access to the local Slate Valley Trails. Lots of wonderful and attentive touches to make our stay homey welcoming. Hope to return again soon!

Absolutely stunning property with incredible resources surrounding - trails on the property, trout pond to swim in, warm showers, peaceful energy. Highly recommend!

A fun winter break/birthday getaway! Sarah’s house had plenty of bedrooms for all guests. The game room, pool table, and wood stove/fireplace were great to have on these cold February days. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom and large dining table. The hot tub and outdoor sleds were used as well. The history of the house and beautiful views from the property were an interest to all. I bet this house is a lovely spot in the summer as well!

The cabin was lovely! We went for a little weekend getaway with some friends and it is a great space for such an occasion. There is a surprising amount of space in and around the house and we didn't even use the three season porch. The hosts were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely a cute little home away from home!

Beautiful, historic home in a lovely neighborhood close to downtown Keene. Charming and cozy inside and out. Comfortable beds and furniture. Wonderful artwork by Ruth throughout her home. Large bright kitchen with everything you’d need to stay. Enjoyed the architecture and restaurants in Keene. Highly recommend Ruth’s home to stay in this area!

This was my third time staying on Rosalind's property, but my first time in the "retreat" unit. The space is better in person than in the photos! It's a spacious two level unit with a huge bedroom/loft type area, perfect for setting up your yoga mat! The high ceilings and large forest facing windows in the bedroom were a highlight for me. Rosalind has always been a very responsive, thoughtful, and flexible host. I can't wait to stay again!

The Sugar House was terrific - looked just like the photos! Very clean and quiet. Lenore was very helpful and went beyond expectations. We had a car issue and Lenore helped us by going out in her car and helping us. Very thoughtful and very helpful. She also greeted us upon our arrival and had delicious banana nut muffins waiting for us! We will definitely return!

We had a great stay at the Hollywood Bungalow. House was described accurately and had so many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. Diana met us upon arrival and walked us around the property and the house. Such a great host! She had generously provided snacks, treats and gave a thorough overview for our stay. We were primarily focused on skiing at Jiminy Peak which was a short 20 minute drive. We also brought our 5 year-old rescue who had the best vacation of her life. She was able to use the fenced-in backyard to run around off leash and even meet a new friend when Jackson's dog visited. Diana even shoveled walking paths in the yard throughout our stay so we could get around in the high snow. The Screening Room is awesome and provided hours of entertainment. Quiet street and picturesque location. We will definitely return.

Peaceful, Serene location just 10 minutes from Stratton. We enjoyed the use of the new hot tub, and roomy kitchen. This space is surrounded by nature with plenty of space for you and your group. Would definitely stay here again!

Nicholas and Jenna are great hosts! We were beyond lucky that they shared their home with us! The views were great, so great that we eloped here! Cute cozy home pushed off the road with a beautiful view off the back deck! We would love to back to visit!

We were a little nervous coming up the little winding road in the dark, but the place was easy to find abd checking in was simple. Bonus - we didn't know there was a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole only a 5 minute walk away! Great home base for exploring tons of hiking trails, and the perfect spot for us and our dog to rest.

We had a great weekend at Joe’s place! For my son’s 12th birthday we wanted to ski all day and a cozy place to come home to- this house provided all of that! Joe was extremely responsive with a few questions we had, the place was spotless and accommodated our party of 9! A quick ride to Stratton- we’ll be back next winter!

Such a cozy and peaceful space. I know it’s called the Writer’s Retreat, but I could have spent days reading from Patti’s incredible library while I enjoyed my coffee on the deck overlooking Tully pond and mountain.

The cabin was spotless and clearly well taken care of, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was super responsive and friendly! Great place to stay conveniently located by the mountain base! We enjoyed walking into the village after skiing. Very clean and cozy and had everything we needed and more. Dana was very responsive! Hope to come again next year!!

Needed a home-base for the weekend and Mary’s place was once again (this was our second stay here!) fantastic. Waking up to the sound of the river in the yard from the rainstorm the day before is incredibly special.

This cottage was Magical. Reminds me of a cottage out of a storybook. Incredibly peaceful and quiet tucked in the woods. The cottage itself was so lovely and Lisa thought of everything. Well stocked with kitchen, bathroom supplies. I loved the games and record player with tons of records. The cottage is super clean and Lisa was an incredible host. I needed to contact her and she was very responsive and thoughtful. I would highly recommend and will be back in the fall ✌🏻
