Vacation rentals in Stony Creek

We have stayed at Evening Breeze Cottage several times over the last three years. Upon arrival, there was soft Christmas music playing, and the house was cozy and warm. It is always clean and fresh and Rhoda is easy to reach and always available for assistance. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else while visiting our relatives.

We had a great time as a family of 6 (5 adults and 1 child), enjoying a Thanksgiving getaway on the lake. The house itself has tons of space, very comfortable, fast Wi-Fi, and matched the descriptions, but the real highlight was the amazing views of the lake and being able to walk down to the water and the dock. We also did some stargazing at night, and actually managed to spot the Milky Way on a particularly clear night, along with way more stars than you'd typically see just 70 miles from a major metro area like the triangle. Overall would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet lakefront getaway.

Great location and views! We spend most of our time on the water so having the boathouse so close and hardly any steps was a huge plus! I like a lot of places in Lake Gaston. Very easy to go back and forth to the house (we are always forgetting things.) Huge bonus having a refrigerator on the dock. The house was beautiful, comfortable beds and linens, very large kitchen with plenty of room to cook. We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck. Great long weekend all around.

Anne was a GREAT host! She was very responsive and communicative, providing clear instructions and good recommendations. The home was SO great! I would return without any hesitation. I was traveling with my parents, who had never tried AirBnb and they were very impressed with the home and would love to return as well. The setting is incredibly beautiful and peaceful and the home has everything you could possibly need to be comfortable, including prepping meals. However, restaurants are near, as are grocery stores and plenty of things to do in the Historic Triangle. We enjoyed the kayaks and the 3 season room, the dock and deck, the firetable. It was great to be able to bring my dog along as well.

The house is small but a very clever use of space. Everything you need for a lovely lake stay. Location is great! Very short walk to a sweet beach on the lake - or lounge on the property's private boat dock. Little over a mile to Rosemont Winery. Perfect getaway option!

I stayed at Julie’s place for a couple months while working in the area. She was also super helpful and accommodating. Also, her backyard is stunning. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needed a stay in the Suffolk area!!

We got a combined two floor apartment (end unit so it was very private) with plenty of space for each of my friends to have their own beds. The back porch and patio were very private and had a beautiful view of the backyard. I would highly recommend this listing!

Michael's place was nice. Lots to do if you have children and very close to all things williamsburg has to offer. I would recommend
