Camp Holly is the perfect retreat for those looking to get out in nature but not forego comfort and amenities. The cabin was very clean and cute. While there was no cell service the cabin had reliable WiFi. There was a coffee maker and kettle but sadly no mugs or cups that we could find. There was a microwave, fridge, and heater but on the last night we lost electricity to half the cabin probably because we had too many appliances running at the same time. We flagged a couple of the issues for Xavier via the app but he did not respond until after we departed. However, the site manager lives on the property and was friendly and welcoming. We got in after dark on our first night and she walked over to check in on us. The second night she also kept some fire wood dry from the rain for us, which was a kind touch. There is a beautiful short hiking trail on the property but beware of ticks. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back if we’re ever in the area!

A clean and cozy cabin! My husband had a great time fishing, and I had a great time walking the neighborhood along the river.

We had an amazing, relaxing time! The property was beautiful, the farm animals were friendly, the fresh eggs were delicious, and the stars were breathtaking! It’s hard to find a place that will allow our 2 dogs, but there were no questions and they were welcomed as part of our family! We can’t wait to go back!

Bob’s place is peaceful and tucked away right along the Buckhannon River. The sauna and hot tub were great, and even on a cold December night we were able to take in the beautiful scenery outside. That hot tub is probably the nicest hot tub I’ve ever been in. The cabin was clean and the heater kept us warm. The bed was super comfortable, and the town nearby had some great spots to check out as well. Definitely a great spot for some much needed relaxation!

This peaceful slice of heaven in the foothills of West Virginia was absolutely perfect.....such a lovely get a way retreat. We loved the hunter's cabin feel to it, including the taxidermy animals. Very homey and it truly exceeded our expectations. Loved seeing the deer on the property and the neighboring cows and chickens on the way to the cabin. The wooded area in front and back, along with the creek were gorgeous! If you're considering this property....just do it! You won't regret it. The owners have thought of every detail, including DVDs, games, cornhole set and even smore's sticks!

These hosts were AMAZING! Very communicative, helpful, and just very supportive! They provided welcome gift since we were celebrating some birthdays, lots of local recommendations and always responded quickly when we had a question. Absolutely loved that we didn't have to strip beds or do towel laundry. Would love to stay here again when visiting Davis and Thomas!

Nice, fairly remote cabin. Very quiet and piece and a great place to relax.

Would be difficult to get a better location than this. The dog loved the open space and the river access. The house was clean and easy to get access. We truly enjoyed our stay here and only wish that we could have stayed longer. Very comprehensive instructions about the house, the lot, directions to get there, and things to do. The directions can seem a little intimidating but we had no trouble at all getting there. Highly recommended if you are looking for some private space to relax, look at stars, and do some hiking.

We had an amazing girls trip at the cabin! We enjoyed the privacy and outdoor fire place. Couldn’t have asked for a better place for our trip!

Situated in a private peaceful location. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to prepare a meal to include coffee/tea, coffee filters, storage bags, foil, oil and S&P and other spices. Large BR downstairs with a comfortable King size bed and large screen TV. One king size bed and two twin beds located in loft area with dark steep narrow stairs leading up to them. Floor is very old and squeaky up there as well. Large bathroom but no area to keep your toiletries (a small table or shelf area would be a nice addition). I really didn't care for the heated toilet seat as it leaves you with a wet butt. Cabin is very old and a bit dark and dreary but relatively clean except for a few cobwebs hanging from lighting. Outside area a bit overgrown with no clear path to reach water for fishing although there is a beautiful view of Shaver's Fork from the deck, outdoor seating/eating area, a nice big hot tub and fire pit area. Quick response from owner to questions.

We had an amazing stay at Jeff & Liz’s cabin—everything you need, including some extras we weren’t expecting, super cozy & cute, scenic & tucked away, and set up to emphasize quality time with loved ones. Jeff & Liz were very conscientious and took the time to communicate every detail ahead of the trip so that we had the smoothest possible start to the weekend, and knew exactly what to expect. Our little girl had a blast playing peekaboo with the long curtains! AND being able to bring our dog along meant that the whole family (and the two best buddies you could imagine) got to be together in a lovely, lively, cozy spot. Absolutely a hidden gem; we can’t wait to come back!

peaceful, beautiful, middle of nowhere. make sure to take the road by Holly park to get there. Do not take the back "road" from the other side. take 15, not 20. clean, comfortable, hospitable, fantastic experience. be aware, No AC, and no WiFi, service spotty.

Beautiful location very peaceful. The cabin interior and exterior have exactly what you would want from a “primitive cabin” it didn’t feel primitive at all. The temps out were in the teens and it was cozy and warm inside. I will be back! It was a very pleasant experience, I didn’t want to leave..

Nice and quiet. Peaceful. Loved having a full kitchen to make breakfasts at home. Comfy bed, nice hot showers. Location for us was great.

My family needed a place to meet for Thanksgiving and this cabin was perfect! The rooms were comfy, the couch is exquisite, and the dining area was perfect! We had a great stay!

This home is in a beautiful, nature all around setting with a creek/river practically at the door step. The daily friendly revisiting deer, playful Blue Jay's at back bird feeder, etc..very 😎cool!!. The home was exceptionally stocked with anything/everything one could possibly need for a restful & relaxing stay... soo comfy, cozy & super clean! The hosts were quick to respond to our reach outs & very accommodating. Their goal was to fully support & quickly address whatever question we had to ensure our stay was nothing but enjoyable 😉.

Had a great girls weekend in this beautiful, quiet home by the river. It's only about 15 minutes from the shopping and restaurants in Elkins. We will definitely be back!
