Very cosy, hot tub was lovely! Took a few hours to heat on the first night but after that was fairly quick to get back up to temperature. Lovely location, with easy access to Dartmoor and the coast - would highly recommend.

What a lovely little cottage for our short stay in Devon. Having never been to Devon before, Ben was very helpful in offering some suggestions of places to visit. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Katharyn and Ben who had proactively cleared the snowy path to the cottage and provided an additional heater for the very cold weather. From booking to checkout, the whole process was seamless with very clear instructions on how to find the place and very quick responses to any messages via the app. The cottage is stylish and cosy, well thought out. My favourite part was the hot tub within the private and fully enclosed courtyard garden (which was full secure for our dog). Should we visit Devon again, we will definitely stay here again!

A beautiful home with a stunning view. It was lovely and warm and comfortable, with space for relaxation and games. We went on some lovely walks. The hot tub was also great! Highly recommend.

A fantastic stay. Booked as a surprised for my wife’s 30th and stayed with 2 other couples. The place was spotless, well equipped and just perfect for our getaway. Martin is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The pub down the road (the Ley Arms) is equally fantastic with superb food. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Really hope we can come back soon.

The magical hideaway cottage lives up to its name. It is in a lovely rural location just off the beaten track. The living area and the two bedrooms are spacious and beautifully styled. The kitchen is pretty and rustic but has all the modern equipment you would need and the large bathroom has a walk in shower. It has a beautiful large garden and is in a wonderful location for walks. In a few words Fish Cottage is utterly charming and characterful.

Gill was very informative, helpful and accommodating. The cottage was lovely and the beds were so comfortable, we all had a great stay.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It’s on a really quiet road, but was only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Dawlish and the seafront. The property itself was lovely, very clean and furnished to a good standard. Would definitely recommend!!

Had a very relaxing week in Helen's lovely cottage. Very quirky, lots of character and very pretty gardens. It was lovely and peaceful, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ideally situated for exploring the south of Devon. Would love to come back

My husband and I and our dog spent our beautiful vacation at Laura cottage. The Yealmpton area is really worth recommending. We are in this area every year and we constantly discover something new. Laura's house was wonderfully prepared, clean and cozy ... We did not have the opportunity to meet Laura in person but thank you very much for everything ... and see you maybe next year !!! Had a hugely enjoyable stay with the family and our two dogs. Loved the location and always wonderful to be able to hear the waves from the property! Two minute walk to the beach and very close to SW Coast Path. Property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Toasty warm with the added bonus of log burner and great shower. So much to see and explore nearby and loads of information and recommendations from Kelly. Will definitely be back.

Very sweet cottage in a very quiet location. It's compact downstairs but has everything you need, is well furnished and very cosy. We were there during storm Darragh and there was a power cut so sitting with the log burner going and tea lights made it even cosier! The bedroom is pretty and the bed is very comfy. Lovely bathroom. Jenni and Neil were very friendly and helpful especially with the power going off. They brought a lantern and tea lights and checked we were OK. We would highly recommend it for visiting Exter. Easy access to the Park and Ride.

In one word, heavenly. A Family or small group trip to explore anywhere around Devon, this is definitely a place for you —at a good bargain as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property. Modern house with state of the art facilities, wash rooms were great, large island kitchen with a befitting diner stood out for us. All beds and beddings were so so comfortable. Simply felt like home. Hosts Robert and Jane were great with communication so we didn’t need to call the host at any point as everything was as described. They also recommended places around, some of which were 100% for us. We would recommend a trip to Salcombe obviously as it’s a 20+ mins drive, explore the beautiful town, trip to north & south sands via the ferry and enjoy the lovely oceanic view. Highly recommend a visit to Crab Shell inn in Kingsbridge, don’t miss a trip to Torquay Marina, about 40mins drive from Goveton. Need to add that the roads to the village are narrow but in all, great experience!

Perfect cottage for a peaceful getaway. Beautifully styled and comfortable with nice touches and a well-stocked kitchen. Heating works really well. Clare is a fab host! Easy to find, we pulled up outside to drop off bags before parking on a street in the village. Nice pub at the bottom of the road.

Victoria was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Some delightful goodies awaited our arrival! The location is peaceful and set in a beautiful garden with a lovely view over the rolling countryside. A reasonable walk down to North Sands where there is a friendly beachside cafe/restaurant, The Winking Prawn. From there a good walk along Cliff Road, with great views over the Estuary, takes you into Salcombe. The property is perfect for two. Has all the necessary amenities. Well equipped kitchen, lots of hot water, a good shower in the bathroom and a comfortable sitting room. We hope to be able to return!

Christina cottage was beautiful inside and out side, very quiet and was lovely to be sitting outside in the sunshine in the mornings. The kitchen was well equipped to cook meals, the 2 bedrooms both of them were on suite, lovely lounge with confortable sofa and chairs all in all great place to stay and highly recommended I certainly will be coming back in the future.

We (4 adults and 2 students) had a great stay at Heidi's place. It's a lovely house, full of character and nicely decorated. The surroundings are really nice with a little stream running next to the house. We even managed to eat outside on one occasion. Heidi was super helpful and we bumped into her parents down the local pub who were also lovely! We would happily stay there again. Many thanks!

I don't really know where to start with this review as this place is something truly special. Barbara was easy to communicate with and our hosts at the property Bob and Sue were a lovely couple and super helpful, we felt right at home from the start. We were a party of 16 and 4 dogs split between the 3 cottages to celebrate our mum's 80th birthday! We spent most of our time in Great Cleave which we called the 'party house', it had everything you could possibly need and the huge table was great for entertaining. The other 2 cottages Little Cleave and Old Orchard were as equally well equipped and comfortable with lovely beds, the duvets were freshly ironed and everything was very clean. Thoughtfully, all the log burners and BBQs had been prepped ready for use including fire lighters, logs, matches and briquettes. The swimming pool and sauna were wonderful, lots of fun and a true gem as was the games room! Memories were made that will last a lifetime and we will definitely return.

We stayed at Penny's place for several months and it's been a home away from home for us. The house was very clean when we arrived and Penny provides linen and towels for us on a regular basis to help keep everything feeling fresh. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed is very comfy; the bathroom also was very clean and easy to maintain during our stay. It's quite easy to keep the place warm during winter without much effort which was great for us since we're not from the UK and aren't used to the cold weather. Penny provided plenty of local recommendations for places to eat, see and explore. She also is very responsive and has been helpful at every moment. The place is located just outside of Yealmpton which means it's very private but also close by to local shops, and not too far of a drive from the centre of Plymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Penny's place and would absolutely recommend staying here for short and long term durations.
