the place was exactly what i hoped for—quiet, peaceful with beautiful surroundings. my boyfriend and i thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway and i hope to be back again! special shout out to the hosts because they were absolutely wonderful! they would provide breakfast every morning and was extremely responsive to any concerns, it was a pleasure being their guests. i highly recommend this place to anyone!

The cottage has a spectacular view of the lake. It is very spacious and up to date. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, an air fryer and rice cooker. The dock area is in great condition, so it is a terrific place to relax in the sun, swim and fish. The stairs from the cottage to the dock has many steps, so my 84 year-old mother-in-law with bad osteoarthritis of the knees could not get down to the lake to go tubing. She was very happy to stay in the cottage and enjoy the view. The is only a short drive to Buckhorn with a Foodland and a Home Hardware to pick the items that you packed but left at home. Alex and Sophie were quick to answer any questions. Overall a really enjoyable couple of weeks.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Dave and Bonnie's place was a wonderful airbnb experience for our anniversary. Their place had so many special touches like personalized welcome and anniversary signs and lots of instructions and signs that helped us during our stay. They gave us our privacy which we really appreciated but were very responsive when we needed their input, which is the perfect combination for us when we stay at an airbnb. The amenities were really great and the place was spotless. We'd love to return when it's warmer so that we can use the bikes and kayaks that looked super fun.

We are so happy with our stay! The property was beautiful and the amenities were an added bonus. We mainly booked this location because we needed something that was wheelchair accessible and this home absolutely meet all our needs. Door were wide enough for the wheelchair, beds were high so we could get a lift under to make transferring to and from the wheelchair possible. It was also easy to get in and out of the home with a wheelchair. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was also great communication before and after our stay. We felt right at home and the location was wonderful for a stay in PEC. We plan to go back again!

We had a great time at Cortney's cottage. We came to see the foliage and it was stunning. The decor of the cottage is warm and welcoming as well as the facilities. Very recommended

Beautiful airbnb located a quick drive from local shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time staying here. Victoria was very responsive and quick to help with recommendations. Very cozy and had everything youd need for a weekend getaway. highly recommended.

We had a wonderful long weekend here, even enjoying the hot tub in the snow. The house was clean with a well-appointed kitchen. Would return!

Denise was so lovely and helpful throughout the whole booking and stay process, allowing me to adjust my dates and times multiple times. Any questions throughout the stay she was very responsive and took care of any issues immediately. Very historic home!

We loved our stay at Matt and Nat’s! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space had everything we could possibly need, and it was clean with a lovely design. Our little one especially enjoyed the toys provided, which made the stay even more enjoyable for us as a family. The outdoor space was fantastic, and we had such a wonderful time exploring and spotting all the different birds with our little ones. The location was also ideal. Matt and Nat were excellent hosts, keeping in touch regularly and making sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to stay here again next time we’re in the area!

We had a nice peaceful stay and the weather couldn't have turned out better. Douglas was responsive and helpful. The scenery is tranquil and the cabin is very cozy. It was an awesome weekend 👍 lots of red-wing blackbirds at this time of year, it was nice to hear them around the cabin.

Such a unique stay! The school was easy to get into and find our classroom (even though we arrived late at night), and we loved falling asleep with the windows open to the sound of crickets. It was exactly like the description, with everything we needed (including coffee creamer, which was a really nice touch!). The beds were comfy, we could not hear the other classroom renters, and everything was clean. It is a quick 10 min walk into the little town, and PECish bakery was divine. It was also nice and close to Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a beautiful 15min drive through the country side. Everyone loved the giant chalkboard! We would definitely stay here again.

Aileen's place was immaculate and well maintained. The pellet stove warms up the entire place perfectly and the view from the windows (especially the snow) was amazing! only 5 minutes to Bancroft and the guidebook was helpful in deciding what to do and where to eat. Would definitely stay here again

Everything about our weekend at Heidi’s cottage was wonderful. Her detailed house manual was extremely helpful and the description of her space and where to find everything was down to a science. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. The lake was pristine and some of the best swimming we’ve had. Cozy at night and surprisingly cool inside during the September heatwave we experienced.

Our stay at Bill and Denise's place was perfect! The central location to downtown Picton was great, we could walk to the Millennium trail, great local restaurants and hotspots and it was a quick commute to the PEC wine trail and Sandbanks Provincial Park. The unit was clean and cozy and Bill and Debise were great hosts and made recommendations or local things to do. We will be back!

This was our second stay at Swan Cove Cottage and we loved it again. The cottage is cute, clean, and cozy - even nicer than the pics make it seem. The screened in porch is an incredibly lovely spot to sit and enjoy the quiet. Sally is a very responsive host - quick to respond and always friendly. We stayed with our large dog and all of us loved our stay.

Natalia and Evgeney were great hosts. They were both very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Check-in was flexible and easy thanks to Evgeney, who did a great job at setting us up with our cabin. The cabin itself was exactly as advertised. We found it to be very clean. The view of Rice Lake from our cabin was great, and the area is really peaceful and quiet. Overall, we had a great time here! It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

My group loved staying at Erica’s place!! The property is gorgeous and private, we had 3 cars and plenty of room to park outside. The interior was beautiful, and well laid out. Lots of towels and pillows, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Many in our group commented that this was the best Air BnB they’ve ever stayed at!! Awesome location, close to everything you’d need by short drive. Erica was also very proactive and responsive. Couldn’t have asked for more!!

This home is stunning ! Full of country cozy charm with some upscale conveniences and an amazing water view. We booked for a girls weekend away and could not have been more pleased. The location was great! Grant was welcoming and easy to communicate with and the home a beautiful. Would highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at County Creek House in Prince Edward County! The spacious rooms and thoughtful design made us feel right at home. The house was stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen spices to pool floaties, board games, and fire starters. The organic garden was a highlight, providing us with fresh heirloom tomatoes daily. The location is perfect—close to beaches, wineries, and restaurants, yet tucked away just off the main road, offering privacy and tranquility. We loved exploring local wineries and restaurants, but relaxing by the pool with family was just as memorable. Heather and James were outstanding hosts, responding to every inquiry within minutes and making our stay completely stress-free. County Creek House is the ideal family-friendly retreat, combining convenience with a sense of escape. We can't wait to come back!

We loved staying here! The hot tub was the highlight for us but really the place had everything we needed for a friends reunion weekend! The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, which we used as we love cooking for ourselves rather than eating out. We played ping pong, had a bon fire, played video games, watched a movie, walked around the neighborhood, and soaked in the hot tub 8 times in just a weekend. It was perfect!

Sky Haven is a true getaway! We stayed at the Guest Suite and were surrounded by wide open spaces, small, grassy hills and fall foliage. It felt like a scene from The Sound of Music! We enjoyed the huge heated pool - we came for this - which was meticulously maintained by Deborah. We stayed up late in the game room because there were lots of activities for the whole family. To top it all off, Deborah was such a warm, caring and responsive host. Upon our request, she brought us to meet some of the horses that lived there - such a unique part of our stay there. We learned a lot, and the kids had a great time interacting with the horses. Overall, our large family loved our stay at Sky Haven, Deborah is a wonderdul host, and we recommend this place especially for families.
