The perfect cosy cottage to put your feet up after a long day at longleat. Watch your head if you’re tall my husband had a few bumps on the lights but gave our children a laugh each time. Great touches of toys to play with and the advent calendar went down a treat for children. Couldn’t fault our stay would love to come back. Thank you

We absolutely loved our Christmas / anniversary break here, Su had gone to lots of effort to decorate the lodge. Along with the fabulous log fire & views of the sea it was perfect & felt really homely. The lodge was the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Everything you needed was there. The views from the lounge were next level & the beach was empty & great with our dogs. It was so peaceful here. There was an issue with power, due to a storm - completely outside of Su’s control, she was very helpful in this matter.

I would say it’s the best house I have ever been in for my one-week journey. The housewares are in good condition, the beds allow sleeping comfortably, and the kitchen - which is the best of all - has all kinds of seasonings and ingredients (even including several Chinese ones!) and kitchenwares! We have a lovely stay there and a fabulous meal cooked by ourselves! Speaking of the surroundings, you can literally walk to anywhere in this small town from the house within 15 mins. What’s more, the house is located at the High Street, where you can find tons of interesting stores and restaurants.

Kings Cottage was a really lovely place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. The children loved the fact that there were Alpacas in the field next door. The cottage was warm and cosy and only a 15 minute drive away from Longleat Safari Park, which was the reason for our stay. The only hiccup we had was trying to find the cottage, but we soon got our bearings. Gemma was super helpful and informative and I would recommend Kings Cottage to anyone looking for a very quiet break away.

From initial queries through to booking and arrival, Andy was really helpful and friendly. The cottage is so cosy and unique, with a great location, peaceful surroundings, walking distance to the Druids Arms (great food) and Stone Circles. A really great find: attention to detail, homely feel, quality beds and pillows and linen: very comfortable. 7 of us stayed and cooked together and there was great kitchen facilities and plenty of room for us to eat together in the dining room and relax by the wood burner in the living room. Lovely place, very peaceful and hot tub was amazing, loved the fact you had a TV in every room aswell. We will be coming back!!

Beautifully clean .Homely . Felt very safe .Host very friendly and accomodation sits next to beautiful lake . Ideal for work and as single women nice to stay next to family .
