Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Sterling Forest

A friendly and helpful host with a wonderful place to stay. A very peaceful location, you wouldn't know there were others living in the accommodation above. Great for access downtown without all the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. Only a 10 minute walk to the station. The train to Grand Central is $25 single at peak time. The only thing I will point out on that note is MaryLee's place is at the top of a rather steep hill. Fine for heading out in the morning but after a long day walking around can be a less exciting prospect to walk back up!

The location is great, convenient to grocery, walk to Central Park. The apartment is huge and comfortable. Bath room water is excellent. Francesco is a super host, always helpful. I feel very comfortable and welcome at his place. I definitely would come back again.

We had a pleasant stay and liked the location. We consider it a value based on the size of the duplex. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Please keep in mind the flight of stairs to the apartment upstairs, although not an issue for us but something to consider. We were instructed to park our car on the street and never felt unsafe, the area is very quiet. We highly recommend.

We loved staying here! It was super close and easy to get to the city. There was a fantastic view at the end of road as well. The apartment itself was spacious, comfortable and had food options within walking distance. We had an amazing time and Sal was very helpful and responsive. I can’t recommend this apartment more.

If I could give Kimberly’s place more than 5 stars, I would. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved this place. It’s very modern, smells good, have all the necessities you need and Kimberly is the best host ever! She even gave us welcome snacks and chocolates! Would 100% come back whenever we’re in NYC again.

Great location and fantastic views. Close to many activities. Hells Kitchen dining and bar options are a short taxi ride away.

NY city is 40 minutes away by bus which is fine once you get used to the buses number to be taken and how it goes for payment as there are two type of buses. The location of the apartment will give you a clear experience on the day to day life of local people living outside the big apple. The appartement is comfortable with the basics you need and a grocery shop just below it (very convenient). Only issue could be the noise from the street mainly during the day (6:00 AM - 9:00 PM) but in principle you will be out visiting NEW YORK city. Our host Issa has been responsive to the few questions we had which is certainly a plus to live a peaceful stay.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in! Patti was a responsive and exceptional host. The house was exactly as it appeared in the photos and is extremely well appointed. We are making plans to stay again! Thank you Patti and Bob!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay! We enjoyed the fireplace. It was warm and inviting. Great kitchen with everything needed to prep a meal. My boys loved the gym area for a good workout. We all slept comfortably. Thank you for all the amenities! We would definitely stay here again.

Margie’s place looked exactly like the pictures. Communication and answers to our questions were responded to promptly. The families that enjoyed the trip with us are happy with the location, Margie’s list of suggestions, and a fully equipped kitchen, which gives us the chance to make our last meal and have a wonderful evening with our toddlers. We also appreciate the flexibility of having our dogs in a friendly place. We are looking forward to coming back during the pool season. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Our stay at Marcel’s was amazing. Everything looked exactly as posted and described. Marcel sent very thorough information and instructions for use of everything. The beds were truly the most comfortable beds ever! We had the best sleep. There was so many items in the kitchen to use and condiments in fridge etc. The wood burning stove was the perfect part to the weekend. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked beautiful. We did notice mice droppings around the house, mostly in the kitchen but we were made aware of that prior. We just made sure to keep all food away- no issue there! Our two dogs enjoyed the stay as well.

I can't say enough positive things about Edward's place. I was there for 4 nights, and felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. The house was immaculate and had everything I needed. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, with a sweet trail through the woods behind the house. The Kingston waterfront and downtown area was an easy 10-15 minute drive. Edward was such a warm and friendly host, greeting me upon arrival and sharing recommendations. Woodstock is 20 minutes away, and Beacon (Dia: Beacon & Storm King Sculpture Park) are an easy drive. I loved it so much I plan to return in the spring!

Second time staying at Lillian's property. Location is so convenient to town of Mamaroneck and Metro North trains. Lillian goes above and beyond. We noticed the tv was 1/2 in shadow after arrival. She delivered new tv the next day! In addition, sent flowers for the inconvenience which was totally unnecessary but a lovely surprise. Great place to stay when visiting and we enjoy the walkability of the location. Had Thanksgiving this year at Airbnb and discovered great supply of kitchenware and serve-ware in the kitchen. Location, price and Lillian's response are reasons we will keep going back to this property.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was as described and had everything you need for your stay. Dana was very quick to respond to any questions, the house was very clean and we loved the hot tub and sauna. We had a nice long weekend getaway and it was just perfect!

Yariv was a really great host and the house was perfect. More than enough space for our group of 8 adults. Everything was clean, neat and exactly as advertised. The neighbors are pretty close but they were super friendly. The lake was beautiful and we were lucky with pretty good weather. The hot tub was immaculate and a great bonus for us! Our whole group has already asked about coming back again. Yariv, thank you for helping me show my friends how beautiful New Jersey is!

He was great at communicating how to get in and out. It had everything that was listed and even though the central AC wasn't working, there was a portable one and it was clearly stated on the thethermostat very clearly stated that they were waiting on rhe part and apologized. There were extra pillows and blankets to use. Plus the place was at a beautiful location. Plenty of things to do and he provided places to see/visit.

I had a phenomenal time with my stay ! everything was conveniently close, I got to see everyone snowboarding having a good time , all the lights on the mountain lit up at night, I’d say most places are about a 5-10 minute drive, the place is spacious, comfy with beautiful views from the bedroom, living room and the outdoor deck facing the mountains, definitely a time to remember

The accommodations were exactly as described. The Appalachian Lodge is architecturally pleasing. Everything worked including the welcoming fireplace. The stay was wonderful.

We had a great time! The unit is an easy walk to Minerals, and the layout was perfect for our needs. Joann was a fantastic host and we can’t wait to stay again!

awesome place. it took me a while to do my review because there's so many good things about this place that exceeded my expectations. a key item was the communication with the host. it was always responsive and willing to help and give suggestions. I would definitely rent again if in the area.

Lovely place, nice and clean. Balcony has one of the best views, perfect for a fall getaway and probably even better in the winter with ski season approaching. Lots of things to do near by, hiking trails, stores, food places ect. Host was responsive and super helpful. Highly recommended and will def be coming back.

We were out and about in New York every day. We were able to make good use of public transport. We took the ferry in the morning and took the bus in the evening. Everything worked out great. There was also a shopping opportunity to reach easily on foot. The accommodation has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay.
