This is our vacation home in beautiful Bolsena. We rent it out when we do not use it ourselves. This view is from our rooftop terrace. It overlooks the Santa Cristina Basilica and Bolsena lake - the largest lake of volcanic origin in Europe. Our house is located in the center of the old town, only a few minutes walk from the waterfont with its charming marina, peaceful beaches and numerous good restaurants. It is located in a two-family house and is surrounded by olive trees with fields and roads for walking and cycling nearby. It is advisable to come by car. Families with children are welcome!

Frankly welcoming for a fantastic stay

Loft for two ideal for a couple. Large and new studio apartment, with balcony, wooden roof and modern design. It is located on the second floor of a well-kept house inhabited by the family hosting you. The kitchen is complete with all appliances. It is suitable for short and long periods. We can't accept pets, much to our displeasure.

Rocky's home is incredible. It is so peaceful and relaxing, and the sunsets from the yard are stunning! Our family spent the week here and we loved it. We loved our day trips to Pienza and Montalcino, and a visit to a local farm, but returning to the villa in the afternoon was magical. I would not hesitate to come back or to recommend this place!

We delighted in our stay at Marcelo's place. His and Donna's renovation of a medieval, in-town house is impeccable. A substantial degree of professional interior design is evident in the minimalism, yet all works flow historically. The lower-level spa and sauna are hedonistic yet blend beautifully with the rustic ambiance. The technology underlying the works is largely absent from view - yet functional. The first floor features a kitchen which will not disappoint an avid chef. The sitting area is minimalist but softened by clever, "soft" upholstery choices, cushions and comforting throws. Selective sculpture and objects d'art complete the picture. The surface treatment of walls is superb, as if revealing centuries of habitation in layers, each agreeing with one another in terms of tone and pallet. The rendering and paint work is first rate. For the aesthete and practical traveller alike, Marcelo's place offers a considered, curated view into the past embraced by the present.

Poggio al Vento is absolutely stunning. The accommodation is set within a working vineyard and olive farm on the Tuscan hillside. It doesn’t get more picturesque than that! The accommodation has everything you’d need to be self-sustainable, while keeping the Tuscan feel (beams, tiled floor etc). Roberto is an excellent host - he made us feel part of the family from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d highly recommend a vineyard tour and tasting - great value and the perfect insight into how his wine is produced. Short journeys to Pienza, Montalcino & Montepulciano, among others, will keep you busy in the day, then settle down to a bottle of wine, overlooking the vines it came from - heaven!

I had the pleasure of staying in a really great apartment. From the entrance, the atmosphere is welcoming and attention to detail. The modern decor blends perfectly with stylish design touches, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. The cleanliness is impeccable, and the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances, perfect for those who love to cook even on vacation. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds that guarantee a refreshing sleep. The bathroom is also modern and equipped with all the necessary amenities, with a spacious shower and soft towels. One of the highlights is the location: the apartment is located in a quiet area but at the same time close to the main points of interest, with supermarkets, restaurants and public transport easily accessible on foot. The owner was extremely helpful, ready to respond to our every request and to provide useful tips about the area.

The accommodation is spacious, with 3 double bedrooms and a sofa bed, and each bedroom has a private bathroom (very large). The kitchen is well equipped with all the necessary utensils including dishes, cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, dishwasher, moka and Krups machine with pods, which make the stay even more comfortable. Laura is a very helpful person and prepared to offer information about the points of interest around the property. I highly recommend this property and we do not exclude the possibility of returning in the future!

Linda and her family were always helpful and kind. Upon our arrival we found a bottle of wine from the area and the oil of their production that demonstrate the care and attention to the guest and the passion for the area. The house is equipped with everything you need and for those who love tranquility and peace is ideal, immersed in the countryside just over 5 minutes by car from the center of Castiglione del Lago. The location is strategic for exploring the wonders of both Umbria and Tuscany.
