Farmstay vacation rentals in Stanislaus County

This place was definitely peaceful, though the main house was a little closer than I thought, you would never know. Since it’s so quiet. Very easy check in and check out instructions. The hot tub is right next to the tiny home which was amazing! The home was very nicely put together and clean. It’s a beautiful farm, the animals were lovely and friendly! We would def come back one day.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this little cottage. As she mentioned in the listing, it is a working farm so there is a little bit of movement of people and vehicles somewhat nearby - on some days in the morning and in the afternoon but I did not find it to be bothersome. Most of the time, I did not see anyone around. And I enjoyed walking in the almond groves all around! The WIFI was plenty fast-enough for me to work and stream movies. There is no TV but there is a Walmart about 10 minutes away. The water pressure was good and there was always plenty of hot water. The dishwasher works great and the rest of the appliances are also clean and work great and the kitchen is very roomy. I like the open floor plan and the bed and recliner were also very comfortable. I did not use the wood stove but I used the space heater that they have there and it worked well, as did the AC unit. I had a very comfortable stay!

Sherry was an excellent host! The place was exactly what we were looking for and clean. Every day we were able to see lots of wildlife- deer, turkeys and chickens! We had such as good time, especially being able to drive to Yosemite and see downtown Sonora.

Wow! The little things definitely stood out. We were welcomed with farm fresh eggs, beautiful produce from the garden, home baked gluten free cookies. I made a delicious kale, dill, green onion amd salmon omelette and snacked on purple and orange carrots. Lovely antique furnishings. Best stocked kitchen I've had at an airbnb. Murphy bed is a full bed and super comfy (we ran over 40 miles with 100 obstacles so our bodies needed to rest). Laundry is always a necessity and much appreciated. On an evening walk around i realized that sell their produce boxes with all proceeds going to families in need of counselling. As a health care social worker navigating systems and previous mental health clinician, food and counselling are so important and definitely amped up my respect for Cindi and Keith. My only regret is not having enough time to fully appreciate the produce.and will plan appropriately for a lengthier stay on our next visit. Highly recommended.

This place and the hosts are just amazing! Especially for animal lovers and families with kids this place is just unbelievable. It’s really not just a place to stay but it’s a place where kids and adults can have so many beautiful experiences. For example my kids were able to pet and feed rabbits, chickens, goats (even bottle feeding them!), cats, and pickup fresh eggs. Deanna and Michael also organized additional fun activities like a bunny fort, a scavenger hunt, a fireplace with s’mores. Pool and hot tub were also really nice. Deanna also clearly has an eye for beauty and the house is very nicely furnished and decorated. They also provide all kids friendly things like potty seat, baby cutlery, toys, … The only problem with this place is that I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy any other Airbnb in the future given how amazing this one was :D sets a bar that cannot be matched :D Seriously, If you’re reading this and not sure whether to book, just book it, you won’t regret :)

The studio is beautiful and the deck is perfect for a peaceful time in the woods. This place was very conveniently located to restaurants or grocery stores or just downtown Sonora but also enough away from the town. It was a beautiful get away for me and Richard is a chill, helpful and very kind and considerate host. I’ll definitely come back here any day.

We stayed for a quick weekend trip to see family over Easter. I saw a review that this place isn’t kid-friendly - I respectfully disagree! There are no bathtubs and that could be a drawback, but otherwise I just moved anything breakable up and away from my toddler with the host’s permission (she contacted me when I booked to double check that I was ok with the less-than-kid-friendly environment - probably due to that previous review). The house is in a beautiful quiet neighborhood a ways outside of town, with a great yard and back patio we took full advantage of. It was spotless and comfy, lots of space for my family of three + my parents. We so enjoyed our time there and would definitely book again!

this cabin is gorgeous!! absolutely stunning view and the space itself is incredibly well kept with many amenities (dvds, puzzles, games)! a perfect get away location!

We enjoyed a wonderful family Christmas in the farm, surrounded by beautiful hills, very peaceful and quiet. Both donkeys were so fun to watch and pet. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to all our questions and requests. Would definitely stay there again. Thank you very much!
