Vacation rentals with a pool in St. Tammany Parish

My husband and I love history. So staying in a 150 year old house that even has a BOOK written about it and the area? SOLD! The house was even better than the pictures in my opinion, because there are so many little details we just kept finding wall walking around the house. It’s nestled in the woods, so it was quiet and gorgeous. It was such a cool house, but we truly loved the book about the house/hotel and the area. It made us feel a part of history!

What a perfect place to stay! The host, Cathy, was so wonderful! Incredibly kind and helpful with everything! The property was beautiful too. Clean, well kept, PERFECT for a couples vacation! Walking in the door we felt right at home due to the beautiful color scheme. The pool was pristine. Clean. PRIVATE. The location is perfect, literally 20 steps from Old Mandeville in a very safe area! But, if you don’t want to walk, she has bikes available for use too! Ms. Cathy also had near everything we needed stocked in the AirBnB. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We have nothing negative to say about our experience. THANK YOU, MS. CATHY! Beautiful place on the river, jet skis, great hot tub & pool. Comfortable sleeping for everyone, brand new place with great kitchen, outdoor areas, great weekend to get away and enjoy the reviews of the river. Quiet and peaceful.

We stayed for 6 nights/5 days for Mardi Gras! We are more than impressed with our stay! From the location, cleanliness, responsive host, the list goes on! The home was even better than described and we could have easily stayed here another week! Absolutely beautiful home and outside deck! Being right on the bayou and the ability to enjoy the wildlife and nature was unmatched! Not a far drive from New Orleans and felt very safe and at home! We will stay here every time we head to NOLA!!! If we could give 10 stars we would!

This location was ideal for our family. We have young children and Robin and Lucy had a crib, a little newborn bath tub and toys for all the kids to play with. The property was peaceful and we felt right at home. This home was clean and inviting. The decor added to the wonderful experience as it truly was a home away from home for the holidays. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway.
