Lisa was such a welcoming and amazing host. My friends and i loved our stay. Its furnished amazingly and has every ammenity you could need! Very relaxing and fun weekend. A beautiful home!

I really enjoyed my stay at the house, it was in a perfect location for me, super easy to find, and simple easy check in and check out, Mateos's was always available if needed and always very responsive to any messages or communication we had during my stay, he was a great host and I would highly recommend staying here and I would certainly stay again if I'm back in the area and the home is available, especially in the summer with the home having a pool, it is winter now and the home was great it would be over the top with the pool in the summer, a great place to stay!

This house was a 10/10. They are clearly pros at hosting. Everything was labeled. They had Tupperware with lids organized! They had enough dishes but not an overwhelming amount. They had kid plates, flatware, high chair and a pack n play! Everything I needed for my two year old. The hot tub was perfect in a quiet backyard. The Bluetooth speakers really set it off. They had really cute design touches throughout. The basement was an added bonus !! Would watch movies and hang out down there a lot! I loved the swing in the kids room. I loved that the headboards had outlets. Every detail was thought of. Thank you.

If you need a house to shield you from Michigan’s winter while you and 10 friends slowly lose your sanity, this is the place! It’s not fancy, but it kept us warm, safe, and mostly civil for a week. The bathrooms? A daily battle of strategy and patience. With 10 people, shower schedules were tighter than a NASA launch, and nothing builds character like doing the “I-have-to-pee” dance while someone takes a 30-minute shower. The kitchen? Big enough to cook for a small army. The living room? Perfect for games, debates, and questioning why we work somewhere with subzero temps. And the basement? Originally a downside, it became the perfect exile for our most outspoken friend—the one who insisted we weren’t making the fire correctly. They got a taste of true winter survival down there. All in all, the house did its job. Would hide from the elements (and annoying friends) here again!

I stayed here for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend just to relax and spend time together and this was the perfect place! The home was extremely comfortable and clean and had everything you could possibly need like a true home away from home. We came from Livonia, MI and were unfamiliar with Ferndale, and were so pleased with how extremely safe the community was and how walkable it was even after a snowstorm. Craig was also such a great host, he made everything so easy and always responded in a timely manner. LOVE this place!!! Would absolutely stay again!!

This is exactly what my husband and I were looking for to celebrate our anniversary! Beautiful water views, cute town just 15min away where you could walk around and eat at some great restaurants! Perfect little R & R getaway.

Cathy was very helpful and nice even with me messing up the reservation and she was quick to help fix the problem and get us settled in would recommend and will be staying again next time hopefully without me messing up the reservation. Home and back yard was lovely with friendly neighbors!

This place was a perfect weekend pad for a relaxing few days. The movie room setup it's awesome and I spent most of my evenings in there napping and watching shows. Its very close and walkable to lots of restaurants and shops. The owners were very responsive!

The place was as described. Super cute and very clean. Please keep in mind one of the beds is in the basement. No one in our group wanted to sleep down there but the mattress was nice and firm. Nori was very responsive. And the kitchen was completely packed with items. Even some stuff we forgot to buy for our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and you can walk to the gas station and local liquor store. Overall I’d definitely book again!

My family and I really enjoyed the home. Jodi went the extra mile in making sure you knew where anything you wanted to do was located! The back story of the home was very interesting and really made it feel more like a home setting instead of just an Airbnb. We’ll definitely be using her home when we come to Detroit again. Thanks Jodi! Oh yea!!! The master bed…. BEST SLEEP I’VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!! Going to look that mattress up and purchase it! 😊

Krista was very accommodating with a short notice check in, and she was very responsive during the process. The house was perfect for our family, and we enjoyed the private deck with a view of the lake. Kitchen had all the items we needed to cook meals. and the grill was an added bonus. Beds and furniture were very comfortable.

The house is roomy, clean, and located in a quiet safe neighborhood. The backyard is lovely for sitting and observing the birds, squirrels, deer. We had lots of local activities so didn’t get to spend as much time in the house as usual. Our host was very responsive, accommodating, and helpful. Thank you

Quiet home, easy for us to get to and near the highway. We were able to get groceries delivered through Shipt without issue, and the kitchen was stocked well enough with pots, pans, and dishes to cook some meals. A basket of snacks was provided. The house was very comfortable and had all we needed, except we had to buy more dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher daily as only two were provided. With fall some beetles found a way into the house, but that is not too remarkable considering it was an old historic home. Our group of 6 had enough space. Communication was proactive and helpful. We had a wonderful visit and would stay again.

The decor and space of the home was cozy and very comfortable. Cheryl was very kind and left breakfast for us! We thought the treehouse would be a little closer to the house, (about an acre away from the main house) so my adult kids were not happy about being in a separate space entirely, especially with no bathroom. I thought it was darling though.

The house had everything a guest needs, plenty spaces to sleep, several rooms, lots of extra chairs, pillow, blankets and bathroom amenities in addition to several TV channel subscriptions. Art was always responsive, friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend this place and host and I will definitely contact him back when I go back to area.

A home away from home perfect for my 2 business partners. The home was a new and clean with lots of space to work and discuss our business matters. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Windsor. Thanks!
