Lovely home, amazing views and peaceful atmosphere. The place felt right at home with a touch of casino, all amenities functioned properly and the board games and entertainment provided added a plus to the stay. Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

Spectacular location and stay at Ed's place. We had a lovely family celebration at the home and thoroughly enjoyed the private mountain top location, spaciousness of the accommodation, and trail network leading so several streams and rivers. The layout of the home allowed everyone to spread out and the hot tub and cold plunge in the pool were very much appreciated. Ed was easy to communicate with and offered us a warm welcome and tour of the rental. We would not hesitate to return in the future. Thanks, Ed!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

This home is special. The view and grounds are peaceful and enjoyable. There are great small towns close by with fun downtown areas. The home had everything it promised. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and outdoor space had special extra touches like an outdoor heater and chimney firepit. We will stay here again.

Elizabeth has impeccable taste- her place is thoughtfully designed and tastefully decorated. This is the perfect location for a group trip, lots of spaces to sit and gather, or relax. Elizabeth has thought of everything, from linens to kitchen gadgets to cleaning supplies. The pictures are accurate, but the home is even more impressive in person. This is our second stay with Elizabeth, and we would absolutely continue to book again with her.

Andrew was an amazing host! He was always responsive, super friendly, and was easy to get in contact with. His house matched the description exactly and looked like the photos. Whether it was playing games in the garage or wanting to sleep in, everything met our expectations perfectly. We were also a 10 min drive from grocery stores, the casino, and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again when the weather is warmer to utilize the hot tub and fire pit! 10/10 thank you Andrew!!

Our family had a lovely long weekend at Luiz's home. The entry was straightforward and house was set up as discussed. The communication with Luiz was extremely responsive and we appreciated his recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend !

Very nice accommodations in a great location. A vehicle needed to get around to plentiful hiking, shops in nearby towns, and cultural sites. Very nice home for family gatherings and with all necessary amenities.

Wonderful place to feel at home. Beautiful forest around and a hikers paradise. Amazing for children, with all sorts of toys, trampoline, swings, etc. Loved the fire pit! Great fun for summer nights. Andrew was also a great host. Responsive, clear and friendly.

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Tina was very easy to work with and accommodating. I really appreciate her letting me charge my EV at the home, as the location is a bit far from a charging station. We loved that the home was warm when we arrived. It made us feel right at home. Checking in and out was really easy as well. The home is honestly beautiful. The design of the home and the interior design is perfect for a peaceful get away. I also liked that there were other homes close enough nearby that we didn't feel secluded, but far enough away to feel like there was privacy.

Wonderful place for our family to spend the weekend while we attended our daughter's graduation a half hour away in MA. Clean, comfortable, spacious and charming in a quiet neighborhood. Auria provided clear instructions, check in was a breeze, and she was extremely proactive and helpful. She responded immediately to questions and was always cheerful and polite. One of the best Airbnb experiences we have had so far. I can not recommend this highly enough.

Susan's home was absolutely perfect for our Thanksgiving gathering and provided a very comfortable space for our party of 14. Very clean, spacious, organized, self-explanatory, well-equipped, and cozy. The kitchen set-up is a DREAM. The three (!) staircases leading to different parts of the second floor came in handy and facilitated traffic flow and privacy. The house was fantastic for the three toddlers in our group, plenty of space to play inside and outside. The paved walkway behind the house leads to a fun playground that kept the kids entertained for quite some time. Susan was extremely proactive in her messages and responded to questions very fast. We would definitely book Susan's place again.

This was our second time to stay. It had a gorgeous view surrounded by beautiful trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed. James is so easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

This was the nicest Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The bedrooms are comfortable, everything was clean, there were snacks and drinks in the kitchen, and toys for the kids to play with. They location is wonderful: we walked to breakfast, then the kids played in the wonderful playground across the street. Check in and out was easy, and Joseph was very communicative.

We had a great stay over thanksgiving. The place was clean and welcoming. The decor is very stylish and I’m obsessed with the wallpaper haha! My kids loved their bunk bed suite. The location was secluded and the large windows gave beautiful views of the woods. Would love to stay here again sometime!

This gem of a house served as home base for my family of 4 when visiting Tanglewood & Berkshires area for a long weekend! The house is artfully decorated, with unique treasures we enjoyed exploring, common spaces for us to hang together as a family plus plenty of room for us to spread out for privacy. We especially enjoyed having the pool onsite, backyard fire pit, and multiple outdoor seating areas. Teva was a very responsive, helpful host! Went above and beyond! Thanks for an excellent stay!

Beautiful location in Otis, right on the lake and so peaceful. The house is very spacious and easily accommodated our family ( 7 adults and 2 children). All the windows in the house provided great views of the lake, especially from the deck. Our host Nick was very responsive when we had questions or any concerns. Would be nice to come for a stay during the summer.

Kim’s place was the perfect spot for our large family. It was cozy and full of wonderful surprises. And although it was large enough to enjoy spending time In groups throughout the home, it was connected enough to not feel isolated. Just lovely! Better yet, in addition to the serene, beautiful setting, our hosts were just incredibly kind and thoughtful!

Our stay at Jeff N Kays home was wonderful! Everyone felt right at home! there was a room for kids to play in and plenty of toys to choose from which I sorted out selwct sets to use which the children LOVED! Our stay at this spacious place made it easy for our family to prepare ourselves for my mothers funeral which is why we came into town. it made the difficult time of laying a beloved matriarch to rest, very peaceful.

We were in Connecticut for our son's wedding and Karr's home was perfect. We had a group of 9 adults and we all found it very comfortable with plenty of room. The house is across from an excellent Thai restaurant and just down the street from a really good clam shack. It is close to downtown Norwich and many restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
