Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Spring Valley

This was our second stay at Aaron’s Airbnb, and once again, it was perfect for our family — myself, my parents, and my two young kids. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking meals easy, and the beds were super comfortable. Heating and cooling worked great, and everything was spotless when we arrived. We especially loved the private patio — such a great space to relax. The location is incredible: close to shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a quiet area, and just one block from the beach. There were so many thoughtful extras, too, like beach chairs, toys, and board games that made the stay even more enjoyable. Aaron is a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this Airbnb and can’t wait to come back!

the apartment was fantastic! Situated in a quiet area of Ocean beach, it was a short walk to the various pubs and restaurants. it was also a short drive to the old town transit centre where parking was free and the metro was easy to get for all the tourist spots in downtown San Diego. you could on the road or if you couldn't find a close space, in the garage at the rear of the property. my wife and I stayed for a week and a thoroughly enjoyable time. I couldn't recommend this Airbnb highly enough. it was great

We had a lovely stay at Chris’ Airbnb. It’s a lovely, very clean and well furnished home. It is small but worked perfectly for the 2 of us. It’s located in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Chris is a very responsive host and has thought of almost all the amenities a guest might need. We will certainly stay here again

We rented Gabe’s 3 bed/2 bath house in UH and it was fantastic! Our family of 5 stayed a week and truth be told, I wanted to stay forever! From the beginning Gabe was extremely cordial and promptly responded to our questions. The house was exactly like the pictures posted. We loved Gabe’s artistic decor style. We appreciated the privacy of the rooms and having a European style restroom in the MS was a plus. The beds were very comfy, and we didn’t really need the AC, but appreciated it’s availability. Whatever we needed to feel at home, this place had it, from multiple clean towels, crisp linens, makeup towels (I didn’t use it but nice detail) to a Keurig, and condiments. We enjoyed making breakfast at the house as a family. We didn’t use the shared jacuzzi. Maybe next time! Plenty of parking in the area in this quiet quaint neighbor in the heart of UH walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants. We had a great time. Felt right at home. Can’t wait to come back! We had a fantastic stay here. The location was excellent—so close to the beach, coffee shops, and restaurants in both mission beach and pacific beach. We had 6 adults staying and didn’t feel cramped. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio. We had no problem parking a Honda civic and Kia sportage side by side. The host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

Koko's home was a magical Christmas experience for our family of 4 adults and 2 dogs. We arrived after dark, but the house was beautifully lit and welcoming. We had an access code, so it was easy to enter. Once opening the door, we were greeted by an abundance of Christmas cheer, including a fully decorated and lit Christmas tree. It even smelled like Christmas! The Kitchen was fully stocked with new appliances, tools, dishes, cleaning products and even spices. The bedrooms had comfy beds and bedding, with extra pillows and blankets. Both bathrooms had lots of towels, soaps and shampoo. Koko's New Country Home is truly a home away from home; it was more than we could have expected. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

Our second stay at this house. Rebooked because we LOVE the outdoor pool/hot tub space with a view, grill and outdoor lounge and tv area. Pool towels are provided and it’s really just the best. Well cared for and clean. Plenty of kitchen cabinet space with everything you need to enjoy a meal, coffee, wine, etc. beds are comfy, decor is super cool. We ate at some nearby great places this trip: Crest, Books+Records, Bread and Cie. We had a blast thrift shopping at Buffalo Exchange which was nearby too. Airport is so close which made departure super easy for us too. Hope to return again!

Bruce is an amazing host. very comfortable stay and very clean. Quick to answer any questions. he even had a guitar for my son to play. we loved the backyard and the pool table. Definitely would stay again

Brian was very nice and responsive no matter what time I had a question. The house was just as the photos pictured. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the fir pit on but Brian was willing to come fix it right away. Weather wasn’t on our side so we didn’t rush him. We got a lot of compliments from family about how neat it was that Brian had a coffee bar and snack cart set up. Everyone had plenty of room to sleep and enjoyed their stay.

We had an awesome stay at Rich and Adrienne’s cozy place with 2 young kids. The house was super well organized and very clean. We were able to find everything we needed. The beds were very comfy, with good quality sheets, towels were good quality too. Rich and Adrienne live right next door but the place felt very private. Easy walk to the beach, and a short walk to really nice restaurants. Outdoor shower was great when walking back from the beach. Even though the weather was foggy during our stay, we still were able to enjoy OB and had a great time!

Here's a possible Airbnb review: This hidden villa was a fantastic find! The location was perfect – close to all the best that San Diego has to offer. We were able to easily explore the city's attractions and restaurants. The enclosed yard was private and relaxing. And the swing? It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventures. Our stay at Meaghan and Dereks was absolutely amazing. It felt like a cozy little home in the middle of nature. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful landscape, hearing the birds, beautiful retreat away from the busy city life. Meaghan and Derek were very friendly and communicative making it easy to find the home and enjoy our time there.

We loved our stay here! The place was very clean and so cute. Zina and Craig were so kind and checked in to make sure everything was going good. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed with Lisa multiple times in the past year. It’s like a home away from home. Very easy to get to and convenient to visiting friends and family. Very quiet neighborhood and cozy place inside.

This was a great place to stay. The backyard was a great hang out spot and the location is prime. Also the bedding and pillows felt really nice and expensive!

The pictures on the website were a good representation of the property! Olga has a green thumb, and her gardens were absolutely beautiful! She communicated clearly and responded quickly. Instructions were all clear and check-in was simple. We truly appreciated the treats awaiting our arrival:) The house had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, the TV and wifi instructions were all readily available. This home is in a beautiful neighborhood that allowed for walking to several options for coffee, wine, and meals. The home was truly pet-friendly, and Olga was a welcoming hostess! We'll definitely visit again!
