Vacation rentals with lake access in Spencer County

Progress Park was amazing. We went with my parents and sibling for Thanksgiving and to go to some distilleries, Mammoth Cave National Park, Louisville Slugger, and Churchill Downs. Great location. We stayed at the Lakehouse and it was incredible. We walked the grounds and trails. Definitely will want to come back around summer so we can make use of the kayaks! My family was already talking about visiting again!

Very nice house completely updated! Clean and roomy! Very nice bathrooms ! A lot of nice little extra touches! Great place to stay for bourbon trail and visiting Bardstown! Would stay here again !

Truly a stunning home and property. It has all the amenities and housing needs for a perfect weekend trip or longer. The home is in immaculate condition and the space is so well laid out so that everyone can have their own space as well.

Courtney is always very responsive with problems and was flexible with our needs. Thankful for this private retreat. The otters are always a delight!

The Stagg House is ultra-charming and very cozy. The house is rustic with lots of lovely original vintage touches, but has all the modern amenities we needed plus so much more. The location is incredibly close to Frankfort - minutes away really, so it's conveniently located to commerce but felt so remote and private and safe we all loved it and would stay there again. Speaking of Frankfort, we ventured out on Black Friday and wow, what a nice town - and with excellent restaurants and shops!). It was cold over Thanksgiving when we were there and the large fireplace made it all so warm and inviting. The property is right along the Kentucky River, which makes for beautiful views. Ashley was a wonderful host. Without a doubt we would stay there again and I hope we do!

My friends and I stayed at Kristina's place for the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, and it was an excellent experience. The house was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, just minutes from downtown, which made getting around really easy. Even though the weather interrupted our festival plans, Christina went out of her way to ensure we were entertained, providing great suggestions for local activities. The house felt like a home away from home, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay here with Carol! Our previous air bnb cancelled on us last minute but it ended up being a blessing in disguise! This house is very nice and the communication was wonderful!

The Bourbon Under the Stars was enjoyable, cozy and perfect for those who love the bourbon trail. The Blantons history and decorations are very cool. The location is within walking distance to restaurants and other fun things in Frankfort. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the location of Andrew’s place! Walkable to a couple of great restaurants, breakfast spots not too far away. Andrew was friendly and quick to respond. Will be back if I’m in the area!

This place was amazing and very clean and welcoming.was perfect for our big weekend at the venue.

If you want to see the Bourbon trail, this place is in a great location. It overlooks a lake and all of the cottages are listed on Airbnb. I will most likely book again.

Our stay at Jay's Moonshine Cabin was magical! The cabin is tucked on a quiet, dead end street along the Kentucky River. It was spotless and well stocked upon entry. If you want peace and quiet, this is your place. I loved morning coffee listening to the symphony of birds in the yard. Jay is a wonderful and knowledgeable host; he made a point to stop by and make sure we got checked in comfortably, and gave us a boat tour of the river the next day. We loved learning from him all about the area and the wildlife that surrounded us as we went along the water. There's a new propane grill out back and a fire pit stocked with wood. We loved sitting by the fireplace inside at night too. We had a blast paddling on the river with the two kayaks available for guests. Lily the pony came by daily and was such a sweetheart! This cabin was the perfect, cozy retreat with a large yard and lots to do in the area. We will definitely be back next Autumn. Thanks, for everything, Jay!

Great location with beautiful view, had a pleasant stay here with friends. Best place to go with family and friends.

The cottage is very cozy and was the perfect size for the 5 of us. It was well stocked with essential supplies. And the host was very communicative. The resort is quiet and a great location for a weekend at the lake! We had no issues while staying. It was also nice to have a gas station just up the road and a dollar general about 3 miles up the road, for any additional needs.

Great view and a relaxing place to stay for a weekend. Would definitely come back here again.
