Waterfront vacation rentals in Southeast Portland

My family and I absolutely loved this place! Everything was clean, very hospitable, beautiful views, and the amenities are incredible. Our hosts were easy to get in touch with and very friendly. The only thing I’d mention is they are up against a busy road (not a big deal) but if you have little ones, just keep an eye on them. 10/10 going to come visit again soon!

My children and I were very satisfied with our stay. The lake was such a relaxing fun time . We all enjoyed the hot tub and the apartment is really cozy. Thanks you for having us over.

Enjoyed our stay here and walking around the beautiful neighborhoods. Dining options are just a short walk away, as well as a grocery store. Would return again.

It was a great stay at this cottage, the river definitely set off the tranquil vibes we wanted as well as the balcony. We were able to get in some fishing and also left the rod just in case future stayers wanted to fish.

It was just what we were looking for in a place to stay. Wonderful mornings on the private deck overlooking the river and watching the sunrise. That alone was priceless! Convenient for a crew on work trip. Affordable, and host was accommodating.

A very quite and peaceful neighborhood. Away from the city but close to it. The only distraction is the freeway outside the patio but not intrusive. We did see a few beavers too. Everything was in good shape and worked smoothly. You'll enjoy the hot tub at the end of the long tiring journey!!

We come to Portland 3-4 times a year and always stay at Johan’s Riverside Cottage which is perfect for us. The location is convenient to shopping, restaurants we visit and activities we enjoy. The cottage is a comfortable size for the two of us but large enough to host dinners. The full kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve. We arrived on the first day of spring and it was so nice to see the yard just beginning to bloom. Can’t wait until we’re back this summer so we can spend time on the River. Johan is an outstanding host - friendly, interesting, informative, responsive. We’ll definitely be back again to the Riverside Cottage, our home away from home!

It’s a perfect fit for us. We especially appreciate the little extra touches like bottled water and little snacks. There’s great lighting for reading and wonderful bedding and farm animals to enjoy. This visit we had a wonderful view of the river and the trees outside the window by the bed were in bloom.
