Vacation rentals in South Zanesville

Jake and his family were warm & kind. We booked their place last minute due to a lousy experience at a VRBO location nearby, and boy did we get lucky. The home was cozy, comfortable, and so peaceful. The farm tour was an added bonus getting to milk the cow and pet the animals. We will definitely return if our travels take us back to Granville!

Like others have said in other reviews, the neighborhood was just ok, but we never felt unsafe at all. The inside of the house was very nice, up to date and was very roomy. Perfect for what we needed. Very close to shopping and eateries. Would stay again with no problem.

The place was very clean and comfortable. Lots of extra towels, bed linens, and blankets. We could hear the folks in the upper level & the pitter patter of a dog running around, but they were quiet & it was not disturbing. The owner was communicative. We were visiting my daughter for family weekend at Kenyon & will not hesitate to stay again. Thanks so much!

Chaos house did not disappoint. Beautiful house with a beautiful view. The deer walking through the yard in the evening was a bonus. It was winter with snow but Chao made sure the driveway was clear and salted so it was not slick. Pictures did not do it justice. Chao went above and beyond to accommodate us. Cant wait to come back, hopeful in the spring!

Wonderful stay at the Ellswood! Came with a friend looking for a rest & relaxation getaway, and accomplished that here in spades. Stunning property, even better in person than in the photos. Particularly loved all the big windows which let in lots of natural light and gave us views all around. Very private location that gave us the sense of truly getting away, but had the convenience of modern amenities (and WiFi and cell service were both strong here). Having two bedrooms was so nice, and each was furnished with comfortable beds and bedding. Kitchen is stocked with all the essentials that we needed to make dinner in and bake up some yummy treats. Definitely recommend this as a fun place to stay for exploring nearby Hocking Hills! But otherwise, it’s worth staying here even if for no other reason. Great place to chill out, play games, read, write, practice yoga, hot tub, all the cozy relaxation things.

This was perfect for our family!! We enjoyed all the spacious rooms! We felt right at home, and we were so close in driving distance of everything. Malls, nice restaurants, family friendly activities!! Definitely recommended for family atmosphere!

Even more amazing than last year! We noticed several renovations / improvements around the property. Everything was well-stocked, clearly-labeled, so well-organized! Kitchen/bathrooms/ linens/kitchen PRISTINE. Fall foliage on-point (last year we were a few weeks too late). The gas grill and solo fire pit are amazing! Thank you Devon for another AMAZING stay and break from the pressures day-to-day life!

Mathew’s place matched the description perfectly. He was proactive in initiating communication before check in to ensure it went smooth. House rules were simple and not overly rigid. The place was spacious and clean. It was stocked with basic essentials (coffee, sugar, extra trash bags). Plenty of silverware and cutlery. WiFi was great and surprisingly, given its rural location, we had a strong cell signal. Master bedroom is also quite spacious. We had a 2 and a 4 year old in tow-and there was plenty of space for them to play with toys and not be underfoot. The best way to sum it up-it was a very comfortable place and space.
