Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in South Toledo Bend

Beautiful place, peaceful…..the interior was great and the porch was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. The kids really enjoyed the snack basket and loved the arcade. Had a suggestion and private messaged the host.

We ended up at Jodie's place at the last minute- my dear husband "didn't think anyone would be camping" over July 4th so he didn't pre-book anything, and we struck out at the first three campgrounds that we tried! Found Jodie's place on Airbnb and although it was a little more expensive than the state park or MWR would have been, we jumped at the chance rather than head back home. There are six tent sites in total, but we had the place to ourselves. I think if there had been other campers there it might have felt less private, but as it was, we (by chance) booked the site closest to the lake and absolutely loved it. We even made friends with some of the folks staying in their RVs on the property. We would return here again.

This was our second visit to The Heart of Huxley Bay lake house. We enjoyed our weekend and appreciate the peacefulness , cleanliness and ample supply of firewood available for the fire pit! The house is cozy and a great get away!!!

We loved everything about this stay! The home is perfect for a small group and is equipped with plenty of items that most hosts wouldn’t provide. The accommodations for pets and babies were so nice. Our only complaint was that the living area felt dark and could use brighter lighting for playing games and hanging out. Other than that, this would be our guaranteed stop anytime we’re in the area.

We had a great time in the area and our group really enjoyed this spacious home.

This place was fantastic. It was waterfront with a beautiful patio. The inside reminded me of a house my husband built us with all the tongue and groove. The inside decor was my exact taste. In other words it felt like home, only it is waterfront❤️ It was well worth the cost. My only regrets was forgetting to write a note in her journal. We would definitely stay there again. Great place!!

This rental had been one of the best I've stayed at. Everything needed was there to be comfortable and relax. Just needed personal items and food. All cooking appliances, dishes, utensils, barbeque supplies were provided. The furniture and especially primary bed were comfortable. Everything was very clean and nice decor. My favorite of everything was the beautiful view of the lake out of the wall of unobstructed windows in the entire back of the open style living room and kitchen. It's a bit cold outside but can imagine when warmer you could open it up for indoor outdoor living room. Also has a screened in porch with ceiling fans. My little dog loved running around in the large completely fenced in yard that goes to the edge of the lake. Sorry to the geese that got chased several times. They were as big as her so they didn't need to worry. Ryan was very responsive and I thank him for providing such a nice home for others to enjoy. I would like to go again and do reccomend.

Our family had a fantastic time with fabulous accommodations! The area is perfect for launching a boat or swimming and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Our dogs were welcomed and the home was very clean and comfortable. We will be repeat visitors.

We had a wonderful stay at Darby's place. The house is nicely updated with so much room! We had three couples in the house plus other family members came to grill out with us. THE VIEW, oh my, right on the lake. The patio is a perfect place to hang out, grill and enjoy that view! The beds are very comfortable with nice linens. We had everything we needed. Darby was very responsive when we reached out. We will come back again! Thank you Darby for making our difficult situation easier to bear by providing exceptional accommodations!
