Vacation rentals in South Tawton

Just had 3 nights in Torquay, staying at Adams place which was spotlessly clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable and the bed linen really nice quality too. Lovely welcome hamper from Adam. It was a 10 min walk into Torquay from the house so a very convenient location (quite a steep hill home) and quiet too. I would really recommend Adams place and will stay there again.

Overall had a lovely time in the cabin, beautiful views and surrounding countryside. Gemma and Howard were great, really responsive and helpful. The cabin was pristine with a generous amount of amenities. Easy parking as well as easy access, the hot tub was lovely. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice and peaceful getaway.

We had a lovely stay, wish we could stay longer! Brixham is beautiful and so much to do, and the accommodation was perfectly situated, comfortable and full of character. Would recommend the Dartmouth Steam Railway, a trip to Totnes, the river cruise to Dartmouth, a walk around Berry Head or for the hardier walker the trail to Greenway and back. And for early risers it’s great to see a working fishing port in action. The harbour is so pretty at night, with lots of choices for fish n chips.

Great stay at sunset lodge, so good we extended it! Lovely spot within easy reach of some lovely parts of North Devon, nice spot on the site at Mullacott with good facilities on site, good food at the Depot and a small shop with essentials. Hot tub was a great bonus as well! All in all can’t recommend enough!

A lovely place to stay for a few days get away just 5 mins drive or 25 min walk down to the beach. Easy reach of Honinton for my sky dive and 15 minutes from the sandy beach at Lyme Regis. Lynne was a great host and her place was lovely and clean and relaxing and I will definitely return next year.

I had an amazing stay at Jane’s villa! From the moment we arrived, she was incredibly welcoming and gave us great guidance throughout our stay. The villa was absolutely stunning, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a five-star level of cleanliness. Everything was perfectly organized, and we were able to relax and enjoy our time there. The view in the morning was breathtaking, and we truly had wonderful moments there. I highly recommend renting this place if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot with amazing views. Thank you so much for an incredible stay. - the house is immaculate, super cosy and well insulated in the winter, and feels like a home. - the kitchen is really well equipped. Also really appreciated that there was tea and coffee and some cooking essentials. - the views and beach are breathtakingly beautiful. We were constantly staring out the windows! - Freya was super helpful and always responsive. - we all agreed we would definitely return and this is the most special Airbnb we’ve stayed in yet.

We had a lovely, relaxing time at Salt Cabin! It’s beautifully presented and has wonderful views. Very peaceful. We didn’t want to leave! There were very specific instructions about cleaning up and how to leave the place upon checkout which I thought were a bit ott, given we pay a cleaning fee, however they were politely requested and we were happy to adhere because Deborah is a great host, with a gorgeous place and has been very responsive and helpful throughout. Would absolutely stay again ☺️
