Vacation rentals with lake access in South Side

Very responsive hosts who addressed any issues we had. The home comfortably fit ten of us with plenty of space for air mattresses. The master bedroom does get very chilly on very cold days so beware. There are enough pots and pans for cooking but no options if you want to bake. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

This home is lovely! Very spacious and well cared for. The outdoor patio is wonderful! I really appreciated how the host encourages guests to leave food for the next guests—it felt like home right away. Great walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Lilly was prompt in her responses and very helpful. The place was well kept and clean. A quick Uber ride to downtown. Our group really enjoyed our stay!!

This one of the best Airbnb I have been. The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful and organized this property is. It’s super clean and organized. The aesthetics in the interior are superb and every floor is a work of art.

Our whole family was staying here for an event for 4 days. It accommodated all of us very comfortably (about 20 guests). Hugo was very responsive from the beginning and had beds, blankets, pillows and extra towels for all us during our stay. The place was a bit dimly lit esp near the entrance and Hugo immediately got us additional lights and fans when requested and also set it up. Overall, the place was in a very safe neighborhood, clean, safe and very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Craig's house. Communication was quick and seamless. Thanks for everything!

Great location, we walked everywhere. The apartment was clean & tidy. Wasn’t expecting direct access onto the street from the sitting room, but the road was quiet.

Really enjoyed our 5-day stay. It's close to the Magnificent Mile, so lots to see and do. Fantastic Italian restaurant downstairs, we tried it on our first night. Very nice apartment with everything we needed for a stay. We really enjoyed seeing Chicago for the first time, this is a great location to explore from. We'll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Michael’s Airbnb! We were there for three nights of wonderfully quiet sleep. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. There even were treats and bottled water available. We loved the little touches in decorating as well as Christmas decorations. And parking was reserved behind the building! Beautiful neighborhood too! Thank you Michael! We want to come back !

We had a wonderful stay at Joseph’s place in Andersonville. The beds were very comfortable, the apartment is located on a quiet street yet very near restaurants and stores. The communication with the hosts was very easy. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joseph’s.

Michelle’s place is on a quiet street in a great neighborhood. Convenient to walk to many cafes, restaurant’s, the lake or Wrigley Field. The apartment is nicely furnished, clean and had ample room for two couples for a weekend. Michelle was easy to communicate with and friendly. Highly recommend.

I used to live a few minutes south of this property and it was an absolute dream to be back. You cannot beat the beach access any time of year. Jumping on the red line or any number of buses makes being that far north barely noticeable. Beautiful space. Friendly neighbors. Definitely lots of city noise at night, but I love that kinda thing. If you need quiet to sleep, this may not be your spot. Highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed here over the holiday weekend so we could attend a concert and explore Chicago (first timers!). Our host was very friendly, welcoming, accommodative and had awesome recommendations! The place itself was very cozy in and a neighborhood that felt safe and was so close to many restaurants and shops. We definitely will be staying here in the future the next time we visit the ‘Windy City’. (:
