Vacation rentals with beach access in South Melbourne

A nice base for the Grand Prix. Last stop on the train so a little ways from town, but that meant it was quiet and peaceful. Coles is not far away to grab the supplies we needed. Shampoo, toilet paper, food etc. Internet worked well for my remote work. If you need to work a lot it may be worth bringing a extension cord so you have power at the desk or table.

A recently refurbished property. Spacious enough for two. Excellent location for the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. There is a major road outside that gets busy early each day. Highly recommended, great value for money.

Not much to add to all the other 5 star reviews! Helpful host..so great to find oil_herbs coffee pods and lots of other basics in the cupboard. Very comfy flat,short walk to beach and pier. no 12 tram into town takes a while but is so close and convenient we lived it!

The place was very close to the beach as well as the tram, which was perfect for our visit. Courtney Jade's place looked just like the photos and everything was very clean and cozy!

Wonderful! Normally hate scorching heat and summer but staying here made me fall in love with it. Stayed for nearly two months while my house was getting renovated and felt like I was on a long extended holiday. The hosts (Lara and Jente) were very helpful and accomodating with everything. Smaller kitchen than what I was used to, but it worked out in the long run and ended up eating cleaner, fresher meals and got fit as a result. Plus being able to have dinner while watching the sun set from the balcony was absolutely heavenly. Will miss that place for sure. Thank you ladies!

Port Melbourne is a great area with lots to do and only a tram away from the city. Sakshee's place is strategically located near the beach which makes all the areas accessible. The place is clean and nice, communication is very good and very accommodating. The unit is a bit complex to get to with lots of doors to go through but Sakshee makes it easy with clear instructions. The unit is very private, cozy and quiet. Overall, worth every penny, I would go back there again when I go back to port Melbourne.

Cannot Recommend this place enough! The host was so kind, generous, and thoughtful. The space was beautiful and clean. Beautiful views and an awesome place. The apartment is a hidden gem!!

Fantastic place! Not only is it in a great location but the flat itself is very well thought out! Well stocked and very comfy. 3 floors up worth noting. Location is perfect, nestled nicely between Albert Park shops and the beach! We stayed 2 couples and a 4 y.o and it worked perfectly!

A well located stay for easy travel to many eastern and inner city areas. Train station, excellent coffee shop and many restaurants , 711, chemist etc at 2-5min walk. Greatly equiped Air BnB with all you’ll need.

The house was great. It was just what we needed for out group of 7. Cosy and comfortable house with all that you need. close to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets which was perfect. Easy 10-15 minute walk to Acland St and the Palais. James was a great host. Response to any questions and messages was quick, offered great suggestions for restaurants and parking etc. House was comfortable, beds were lovely and cosy. We all enjoyed our stay. (all wished we has stayed another night hehehe) Would definitely recommend to others for a short overnight stay or longer multi night stay. Thanks for making it so easy James..

Wonderful stay in Port Melbourne, perfect for short or long stays. Spacious home with great natural light, cooling and heating. Fast internet, cozy bedrooms and clean kitchen with plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets all walking distance and was a perfect location for my time while attending the Melbourne Formula 1 Grand Prix. Highly recommend this stay, will be back hopefully the next time I'm up for the GP or planning a long stay with family. Thanks Gabrielle!

The house is as described, no problems at all. We needed a temporary place to stay when we had to vacate our house for a couple of days. Great house for dog owners as it was fully fenced all around. Next time I will ask for an extra key a just the one key was hard to manage but otherwise, exactly what we needed. Thanks

Our stay at jonathan’s place was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect for exploring.

Very comfortable home. Everything was there that was needed. Quiet neighbourhood. Graci was a very responsive and accommodating host.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and tidy and Altona beach was so close by. We were happy to be able to take our elderly dog along with us to make sure he was still looked after while we got to enjoy our holiday.

Hayley was a great host. Communication was clear and instructions easy to follow. We requested an early check in which was no problem. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable with plenty of natural light. Lots of little extras, a lovely selection of fresh fruit, bread and snacks. Great location, directly opposite the beach and easy access to transport. Hayley also provided Myki cards which came in very handy. Definitely recommend Hayley’s place and we will stay again next time we require accommodation in the area.

Stunning location and beautiful unit that has everything you could need. We really appreciated the extra towels, kids cutlery, excellent TV and communication provided. Easy to check in and out. Would recommend this location. Thanks so much!

Had a fantastic stay at Dr. Fred’s apartment in Southbank. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. The apartment was clean, exactly as advertised, and well-equipped for our needs. The location was perfect for our Grand Prix weekend in Melbourne, with easy access to public transport and also walkable to Albert Park if needed. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again for future Grand Prix trips!

Andrew & Ros were great! Easy to deal with, flexible nice. The apartment was great for us, with family of 5. Close to the beach, parking onsite, close to the city, pool onsite. Would definitely book this place again!

Great location, close to the beach and public transport. Suited our needs for what we were in Melbourne for. Quiet street and location.

Very comfortable 2 bed and 2 bath apartment right in a cbd. Clean and tidy place with all you need. The view is amazing. Everything you need walking distance. It’s next to the central train station and you probably need an earplugs if you are not used the city noise.
