Vacation rentals with a fire pit in South India

The location is just mind-blowing. Just as described, it’s on the banks of a reservoir, with forest on the other side. It’s extremely serene, quiet and perfect for folks looking for some quiet time. We spotted elephants on the other side, and during the boat ride, spotted on really up close. Amazing experience. The rooms could use a bit of more cleaning and upkeep, especially around the corners and under racks. The property is really beautiful, and done well. Our dog enjoyed roaming around the property freely. They have a lab but she doesnt bother much. The adjoining area is quiet with rubber plantations, and neighbours were friendly and welcoming. Ashwin the caretaker was very cordial and always ready to help. He was always available, cooked delicious breakfast, and happy to assist with a smile. Food options were reasonably priced, with good options for Non veg. Veg options n spread could be improved. All in all, definitely a place to try out if ur looking to be away from chaos

This accommodation is suitable for 2-3 small families or for a group of people who are looking for a very beautiful and quiet place. Supermarkets and restaurants are about 20- 30 minutes away so suggest to complete your essential shopping before you get to this accommodation.

We rented the private hut space in the property and I must say, we felt home instantly! The Hut was so cozy and welcoming and it was exactly and more than what we expected. I wished that the ceiling of the first floor was even higher as we had to crawl every time we had to move. however, we got used to that too quite soon as it brought us all more together. We were allowed access to the common areas of the property. It is extremely well-maintained and it's heaven to be there. The kitchen had everything we needed and it's great we could cook ourselves, make ourselves some tea. Vignesh was a very kind and generous host. He showed us the other rooms which I'm looking forward to booking the next time I'm in Auroville. if you're looking for a place that's away from all the noise, amongst nature, economical, functional and feels at home, this is the place.

Ashok was a great host and always responsive

The host and the manager welcomed us properly. The host gave us early check-in which helped us a lot. The food from the local kitchen (home made food) is of little expensive but the taste if by far the best in the town. I would surely come and stay for sure and will recommend the villa.

Loved staying at this place. Lovely location and view form their garden. If you have a pet there is plenty of space to take your pet for a walk. The room was clean and the caretaker was friendly. Will book again for sure.

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely holiday apartment, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen had all the essentials, making it easy to prepare meals. The living area was spacious and cozy, perfect for relaxing.The location was fantastic close to local attractions, shops, and restaurants, yet quiet enough to ensure a peaceful night's rest. Mujeeba was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Overall, this was an excellent choice for our holiday, and I would definitely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Wonderful place. Mathew was the best host I've gotten on Airbnb till date. He even arranged bonfire, bbq and food for us on new year's eve. You can get homely food here at a very reasonable cost.

The apartment offers good value for the price you pay and is conveniently located near Baga Beach. While the property is slightly old, it is well-maintained, and the linens are clean. However, the only downside was the cleanliness of the pool, which could be improved.

We had a wonderful stay at MiCasaSuCasa Bhumi was super nice and friendly she was very helpful with her recommandations The appartment was clean, the rooms were spacious and had all the necessary things you’d think of Overall, I do recommend to stay at this appart because it deserves every cent you pay on it

Such a warm and homely place. Sharmini mam went that extra step ahead to cook for us just like a mom.... took the extra effort to come along with us to the supermarket to help us but all the local stuff, so comfortable in interacting, so easy going, no rigid rules and regulations. Just makes u feel like home

everything was perfect with this stay. the couple welcomed us right from the gate itself. instructions about the stay was perfectly told to us by Mrs Manikandan. as I checked previous reviews, I knew I had get the barbeque and banana cake and as expected both of them was exemplary. all toiletries were provided as like a hotel. Mr Manikandan was so responsive to all our queries and needs. this was my first time in yercaud and I loved it mainly for the stay in madhuvans jungle cabin and costing peeku park 🏞️ 😁. by the way the first thing u will say after seeing Mr and Mrs Manikandan house is EVERYTHING IS SOOOOO GREEEEEENNNN 🟢🟢🟢🟢. thankyou Mr and Mrs Manikandan. special mention to Mojo and Jojo, they were so lovely 🐩🐩

Cannot recommend this place enough! The view over the tea plantations, the hot tub, Prabas cooking and incredibly attentive service, as well as the outdoor shower with a view and the cosy interior of the rest of the cabin. In short - it is a magical place! Our only regret is booking for only one night ;-)

We had a great time at Vaaranam farms. The views are beautiful and being located inside the forest - the place offers peace, privacy and serenity like no other place I've been to. Senthil was very helpful with directions and recommendations, and also has very interesting experiences to share. The food is homely and delicious. The dogs and cats were so friendly and loving! They offer the best companionship one could hope for while walking around the farm or sitting and enjoying the view. If you're looking for a place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature - there's no better place than this. Thanks to Senthil, his family and his pets for the memorable stay. Can't wait to go back there!

We had an exceptionally great stay at cozy cottage. The host Ansar is the best we have ever met, very helpful, polite , hardworking and responsive. Managing the entire property single handed, with always a smile on his face. Great cook ! We loved the stay, ambiance , food and everything about this place. I would highly recommend this place.

Loved the place. Ideal for a short getaway. Everything from the cabin, the pond and the surroundings are designed nicely and maintained in great condition, exactly as shown in the photos. The host, Shawn, was very responsive and helpful and ensured all our needs were fulfilled. Do go for the bonfire at night. Highly recommended
