Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in South Hero

We had a great 3 night stay for a family ski trip to Stowe. The place was much nicer than the pictures give it credit for! Felt pretty updated and we loved the art/decor. The 2 br and 2 full baths are on the 2nd floor. Our kids stayed in the br with 2 smaller twins (beds perfect for smaller kids & fit our middle schooler, but beds likely not big enough for taller adults/teens!). AirBNB was stocked with games, and we didn't have time for the pool/hot tub, but was a quick drive through the parking lot. We bought food at the organic grocery a few minutes away for snacks/breakfasts, but had lunch/dinner out. Piecasso and Idyletime were both great meals and only a few minute drive away. We ended up driving to the mountain and (paid) parking wasn't an issue in the mornings, but over the holidays, parking filled up at the main lots by afternoon. The shuttle bus is a close walk, but parking at the resort was surprisingly easy. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend!!

Everything about our stay was great! The beds, rooms, kitchenware, location, etc.—all of the needs were met for our group of 15. We were here for a ski trip to Stowe. Dillon and Sam were responsive and helpful in answering the questions we had about the place leading up to the stay.

Booked the house for a night with some friends. The house was in a very nice area with an amazing view. It was very spacious and everything was perfectly clean and organized. The decorations were quite intriguing with a heavy vintage inspiration. James communicated very well, and he even offered to look for something someone potentially forgot at the house. Well worth the price with a great view.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

The place was perfect for 2 couples looking to spend a weekend in the beautiful Adirondack trails. If you want to save on food (cook by yourself I mean) and be within a 25min drive of everything, this is perfect. Thanks Vinny!

Lovely stay! We would come back. Easily accommodated 6 of us with loads of room to spread out. Comfy beds, clean, stylish, gorgeous neighborhood. Lovely lovely!!!

Great place for basecamp to hike and tour around the area. Lake Placid is a short and easy drive and trailheads in every direction within 10 minutes or less! The house is very clean and has everything you need to cook. The bed was super comfortable which you can say about all furnishings and the hammock/netted hang out spot.

Peggy’s place is the best!!!! This is our 5th year & we already booked for 2/26!!!!! Very centrally located, & only 20 minutes to Whiteface!!!!! Peggy is a true local who has great suggestions & is also very responsive!!!! Stayed there in summer as well as winter though winter is my favorite! Lake Placid + Peggy’s house = a great time!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience. We often visit Lake Placid but rarely stay over in winter. Our farm is just a couple hours away. Angela's Lake front Studio was the perfect Birthday weekend getaway and base camp for our back country ski adventures. Well within walking distance to everything downtown. We were quite delighted by the magnificent morning sunrise view out over Mirror Lake. Overnight EV charging in the Municipal lot just across Main St was super convenient. The luxurious bathroom complete with a 4 head shower was much appreciated after long days in the back country. Angela was very accessible and proactive in her communication. We would definitely stay here in again.

We’ve stayed here before so returned because the place is lovely and has everything we need. Only a few minutes from Middlebury, so handy for visiting our student. Will be back again!

Jonathan was very helpful and responsive. The place was great, comfortably fit all 9 in our crew. If it wasn’t 3 degrees outside we definitely would have used the grill on the back porch. Great stay.

Enjoyed the stay, was close to where we needed to be in this trip. Place was in great shape, had plenty of privacy. Would definitely go back.

Great “home away from home” for a visit. I’m no longer used to freezing weather and appreciate that it was warm when I arrived and not drafty, and the bed and couch had pleasant blankets.

This was our second stay here. We loved it! So close to everything on Main Street, Whiteface and the Adirondack Loj.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Jake and Julie’s place was perfect for us and our pup. Everything was as described and pictured. Clear communication when we had questions. And great location to walk to town and Rec path. All in all we’d stay again for sure.

Highly recommend! Great location! Excellent communication! Wonderful to be able to walk to good restaurants without driving in addition to skiing right to the lift. Place was super clean and cozy! Next time we need to stay longer!

My two sons (26 and 28) and I had a fantastic 3 night stay over Super Bowl weekend. The condo was recently renovated, spotless, and exceeded expectations. The clear view of Mt Lincoln was an unexpected surprise. Communication with the Host was great, and check-in/check-out process was painless. I would highly recommend this condo.

Great place to stay

The place was really nice! Recently renovated, big comfy couch, and a hot tub. We packed 12 people in nice and comfortably. Josh was really responsive when we had trouble with the oven too. Great space, great host, great time!

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

Cara’s place was great, super convenient true ski on ski off. Allowed for really easy and awesome days of skiing!
