Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in South Hero

My family and I enjoyed our weekend stay. The location and view were great, kitchen was fully stocked (we love to cook), and communication was seamless. Sometimes you stay in an Airbnb and get the sense it's a "side hustle" that checks the boxes but quality is lacking. Other times you sense the owner uses it often and treats it as a home. This felt like a place that is owner-enjoyed with higher quality considerations.

Very nice place, in a good location. Only issue is that the upstairs unit can be loud, so if you are a light sleeper that may be a consideration.

Plenty of space and fun atmosphere. Thanks James for being a great host we will definitely use you again when I am up that way again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

The place was perfect for 2 couples looking to spend a weekend in the beautiful Adirondack trails. If you want to save on food (cook by yourself I mean) and be within a 25min drive of everything, this is perfect. Thanks Vinny!

Lovely stay! We would come back. Easily accommodated 6 of us with loads of room to spread out. Comfy beds, clean, stylish, gorgeous neighborhood. Lovely lovely!!!

I had a great stay in Burlington at this house. The house is very nice and comfortable. We came in the winter and the house stayed nice and warm and the beds had plenty of covers. There is a lot of seating and a nice kitchen with a water filter for drinking water. Overall, a great place to stay if you need two bedrooms comfort, and a great location with Burlington and surroundings.

This stay was just what we were looking for -- it was close to Norwich University and a short drive to Montpelier. Host provided excellent check-in, parking instructions and was quick to respond to questions. The apartment was spotless and spacious. I especially appreciated the links for things to do in the area and would recommend Falls General Store for delicious burgers, sandwiches, pastries, coffee and specialty food items. We also ventured over to Hubbard Park in Montpelier for a relaxing hike in the chilly weather and would recommend that also. We would absolutely stay with Ted and Hannah again!

Adorable, clean apartment in the heart of Hardwick. The place was perfect for my 3 day visit to see Circus Smirkus perform in Greensboro. The only glitch was the wrong keys were left for me in the lock box, I couldn't get in and it took me awhile to get a hold of Claudia. It made my late night check in very stressful. However, it was just an inconvenient mistake and when Claudia found out she came right over to let me in and was very kind & apologetic about it. Hopefully this won't happen again for future visitors. I would definitely stay again- the apartment is quite charming and above a great pizza place and fantastic cafe. And Claudia was very nice to work with.

Carson and Eugene's place was excellent. We loved the location in the Hill area, very quiet, easy to find, and easy access, mostly by car, to Pine Street, UVM campus, and Church Street (Burlington downtown). The interior was spacious and open with good light through the windows to the living area and the bedroom. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and was easy to chef in. We entertained our grandsons at dinner and one commented that the space had a good vibe. We agree. We would certainly book again when next in B'ton.

Nice old house! Very cozy and comfortable!

Appreciated the hostess accessibility and responsiveness. It is a lovely rural property not to far from town and campus. However, the distance is not walkable.

Taraleigh & Dan’s basement apartment was simply perfect for our stay! They had said the TV was broken and they went out on a holiday and replaced it before we even checked in. The apartment was so clean, I was afraid with the rainfall we had that our two dogs would make it less than when we arrived so I kept wiping up the wet floor in the entry so as to keep it to the level of cleanliness of our surroundings. They gave us a comprehensive list of local attractions and restaurants which was extremely helpful and informative. Both check in and checkout were easy breezy and we really liked that we didn’t have a list of chores to do before checking out like many places. The value for the stay especially with two dogs was affordable compared to most places which we retired folks were particularly appreciative of. All in all, we’d give it a 6(if we could) out of 5 stars and will be returning in the future. Thank you kindly, Taraleigh & Dan!

Great “home away from home” for a visit. I’m no longer used to freezing weather and appreciate that it was warm when I arrived and not drafty, and the bed and couch had pleasant blankets.

Loved the appartement! Very clean, everything we needed was there ; Kleenex, toilet paper, towels,kitchen tools and obviously, a nice view !

Quiet place with ample parking and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the market. Our dog loved the radiant flooring

Great Condo. Super clean. Perfect size. It was nice to stay so close to Smugglers Notch ski resort. Eric was a very nice host. We hope to stay here again!

James place was the perfect quiet getaway. Sadly we were there during low season, so we missed some of the fall activities. Other than that his place was relatively close to the places we wanted to visit. I would definitely try to come here again either during the winter or the summer because I'm sure it looks even more beautiful. Having the kitchen was perfect for us because we were able to cook some days. Overall we enjoyed our time here, and I would definitely try and come again.

Cathy's places was immaculate and was a perfect home base for travel all over Vermont during the fall season. The pictures don't do the place justice- it is incredibly nice, and so easy to get in and out of!

Awesome location and home overall. Bring bathroom amenities but other than that great stay in a very scenic area close to everything.

Great stay - we saw a bear in the woods outside! Communication was great, facilities were just what we needed.

Beautiful, private-feeling condo close to cute town and trailheads. Kitchen is shotgun style but very usable; those who want to cook will want to bring a storage container or two. GREAT foliage in October, not too cold at night.

Garrett was kind, responsive and thorough in his instructions. We checked in late in the evening and contacted him with a question and he responded immediately. The place was as described and exactly what we needed. Thank you.
